Why would you say that? on the original recording, he plays it clean. I believe, on an acoustic guitar. Maybe live, he might use a little gain but, on F.U.C.K. it is very clean with a little chorus and reverb. How in the world could you possibly think this song was "amped up" or "gainy" at all?

Nice guitar..the trick to nailing the recorded version,which sounds like what you are going after with all that chorus,would be to use an Ernie Ball Music Man EVH model guitar...The Live Without a Net version of this ditty that he used to kick of his guitar solo then was done using the 5150 Kramer...

try chorus or slight flanging with the volume on your guitar turned down and your amp turned up. I like both of these tones! Love your "piece of shit" as eddie would say. keep shreddin'!

If the problem is to make the sound and picture match. Simply record them both, then you can use, fx. Windows movie maker, to set them up, side by side.

ya, lol, i wish it were a frankenstrat. if you look closer, the stripes are wayyyy different. the stripes are individual instead of like overlapped and stuff. also, the headstock is painted. and, it has the 5150 space tape on it. it is way closer to eddies 5150 model.

Damn nice job, I like the chorus in there, I'm thinking of learning this piece, although I'm badly trying to find a flanger so I can finally record and learn more of "hear about it later". You should also record the live version of this with more distortion.
