when i see god i see the following concept for the following reason, the concept of god is that which sustains all life, that which,without, there cannot be any life. So when i see god (im an atheist btw) it is not so much god that i see, instead it is a concept that takes the form of a stove that i see, the stove is a visual representation of that which no-one can live without, food. food and water, these are the most important things to us for they have been a constant throughout history.

Being a Christian is built on faith not the feeling of the holy spirit. But even if it turned out I was wrong and their is no god, I would never regret my life. I don't see god as being a fact. TJ should make a video about the 'graven images' in the Christianity. That is something which divides most of the Christian churches and its significance is purely dogmatic and was originally there to make hunting down and identifying early Christian more difficult.

There is no difference between him and Pat Robertson except the word God. They both do a good job of trashing beliefs that are different from their own.

Atheism is an embrace of reality. It's supposed to be a release from the constraints that this sky deity has imposed on the human race for thousands of years. Besides, he isn't forcing anyone to believe in what he's saying. He's speaking his opinion.

We all have freedom of religion in this country, no one can force you into any belief system. My point was that they are both judgmental, and want everyone to know that THEIR WAY is the right way and that any other way is all wrong. Pray for something reasonable, if it doesn't happen 100% of the time then either God is picky, God doesn't care, or God doesn't exist. Being a Christian is built on faith not the feeling of the holy spirit. But even if it turned out I was wrong and their is no god, I would never regret my life. I don't see god as being a fact. I guess some atheist just don't understand how Christians can believe in something so strongly when there is no proof. Yes I know it can be seen as stupidity. I have seen many atheist videos and I get where they are coming from but if anything they have made my faith stronger.

This isn't a very convincing video. Don't get me wrong, I agree with all of it. I'm an atheist after all. However, the religious do not believe that god is a "concept". They believe god is a fact. Like you said, it doesn't matter if they wish to ignore the utter lack of evidence, and continue to believe it. It doesn't make it true. BUT, they will simply ignore your point about the fact that god is a concept and just stop listening to you. Good video though.

TJ should make a video about the 'graven images' in the Christianity. That is something which divides most of the Christian churches and its significance is purely dogmatic and was originally there to make hunting down and identifying early Christian more difficult.
When you see that Protestants, Catholics, Orthodox Christians and Amish to name few have completely different interpretations of the "no pictures of God" clause, you know that no one really gets the message -- they are all wrong.
