@superdeathguy Lone wolves are players who go off by themselves, and stragglers are slow players who get left behind. In both cases they don't usually have other survivors around to help if they get caught.

Something else that the boomer is useful for is to focus a horde, example: your teammates are ready to pounce and smoke so to give support you boom onto one survivor and your allies hit the other three, with the entire horde on the last person combined with the near blindness that it causes can hold them aside or even down them in the massive horde.

@doomlover666 No, because there is always a chance they will kill you, a good player will pick off a hunter flying through the air. Better to wait till your teammates are all ready to spawn and then you can coordinate an attack.

@toepywa everybody sucks when they start. try standing next to a witch or an alarmed car as a boomer. i suck at hunter too. just don't attack them when they're packed together and try burning and pouncing when available

Overall, good public game strategy.... a bit more teamwork is required for a team... for example, you guys most of the time arent going in at the same time.. all those SI would get cleared within a half second or so... Also, boomers are not first, they should go in with everybody else.. overall good pub strategy for winning against pubs...

a good tactic for the boomer is to follow the survivours at a distance where they cant melee you but you can explode on them. also when you puke on them dont just stand there because they can still know where you are if they saw you before being blinded
