Here is a secret- this movie (Microcosmos) synchs up PERFECTLY with the album Tranceport by Paul Oakenfold. It serves as a custom fit soundtrack if you start the CD right when the clouds appear at the beginning of the movie during the opening credits. Enjoy!
Can someone tell me if the first section to the music used in this film, is it's own piece or a part of what I recognise to be Ave Maria playing during the second section of the film. If it is a seperate piece of music, does anyone know of the composer and the title? Forgive my lack of knowledge...
@brittlemirrors it MIGHT be "William Orbit - Xerxes"... Which is on the album 'Pieces in a Modern Style"... If its not that one, it's another one on that album.
@supravista I think you're right. I have that album and had a listen earlier and I did pickup on some similarities. It's always tricky finding a non-descript electronic cover of a classical piece of music. Thankyou for your response!
interesting having Ave Maria as background music and yet appropriate. As Mater Dei she would have had phenomenal knowlege of the natural world and the workings of the cosmos. Holy is Her name.
The metamorphosis of Butterfly is Life on this BEAUTIFUL PLANET,every single insect, human, plants, three change season after season and are completly connected, you find purebeauty and peace in the Nature peace and Amour à tous
@arcencielili Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason
I've always wondered if butterflies are aware, by some evolutionary instinct, that they're going to change, or if their experience of metamorphosis is all, "WOAH! What the f!@#'s going on?!"
Go kiss your "beautiful" creatures of nature and while you´re at it marry one of them. (and im not scared of spiders eating me, im disgusted how they look.)
Only because they don't look like us? Just because you can't conjure some anthropomorphic equivalent of a human face doesn't mean it deserves to die, if you aren't going to make use of it, like, say, eating it afterwards.
For your information i dont compare bugs to humans. humans are humans and bugs are bugs. and i hate bugs. and humans die because of your bitch arachnids and mosquitos. i dont care if they are essential to our nature. Fuck the nature, fuck the spiders, fuck you, and fuck me. hope world explodes... ANARCHYYYY!
Did you add music to this??...my DVD copy is totally different...it starts with quoir children singing about dragonflies and slugs...buzzing. Then it's totally silent in the following parts for awhile...
que pena que las sociedades esten esparciendo la muerte con su tecnologia, olvidando que la vida realmente esta alli ay tantas cosas que me gustaria hablar de ello...

it blows my mind that people leave hundreds of comments on videos of 13 year old girls talking about their pathetic extistence in middle school, but no one ever discusses incredible works such as Claude Nuridsany's Microcosmos. People, please stop filling your minds with worthless video blogs and attempt to watch something that actually offers rich content.
