  • What is the song that starts around 4:00?

  • Hello jurgendx or everyone who:

Could tell me what is the music of the first part of this movie?

    Thanks a lot!

    Kamila

  • Thanks for sharing. Always one of the best!!

  • Jacques Perrin is my girlfriend's uncle.

  • The beggining's soundtrack, i have never seen a documentary this beautiful.

  • Human Beings are a waste. Its a shame.

  • wyykurwisty film

  • Watching Nature's Ballet! This is beyond beautiful!

  • It's too bad this is broadcast at 240p because it looks like a grand motion picture expose!

  • the music is not of the original sountrack, which is far more interesting .

  • I'vs seen this video. Thanks for the video.

  • holy piss, I used to watch this all the time when I was younger!!!

  • look up Earthligs and stop eating animals. thank you.

  • not enough naration.

david attenborough should be given this video before its allowed to be aired.

  • Here is a secret- this movie (Microcosmos) synchs up PERFECTLY with the album Tranceport by Paul Oakenfold. It serves as a custom fit soundtrack if you start the CD right when the clouds appear at the beginning of the movie during the opening credits. Enjoy!

  • Can someone tell me if the first section to the music used in this film, is it's own piece or a part of what I recognise to be Ave Maria playing during the second section of the film. If it is a seperate piece of music, does anyone know of the composer and the title? Forgive my lack of knowledge...

  • @brittlemirrors it MIGHT be "William Orbit - Xerxes"... Which is on the album 'Pieces in a Modern Style"... If its not that one, it's another one on that album.

  • @supravista I think you're right. I have that album and had a listen earlier and I did pickup on some similarities. It's always tricky finding a non-descript electronic cover of a classical piece of music. Thankyou for your response!

  • @brittlemirrors the music is called An Ending (Ascent) and it's by Brian Eno. :D

  • The place in this video is a place where i really wanna be. it looks so amazing!

But i think when i'm walkin there i feel guilty when i take a step on that beautiful grass!

  • i feel sorry for this planet...people should not exist to ruine this species!!!

    i bez wybaczenia"

    Zbigniew Herbert

  • @Zagielonczyk

An Ending (Ascent). Brian Eno z albumu Apollo (Atmospheres & Soundtracks)

  • respect! :)

  • interesting having Ave Maria as background music and yet appropriate. As Mater Dei she would have had phenomenal knowlege of the natural world and the workings of the cosmos. Holy is Her name.

  • that was so peaceful, amazing and beautiful

  • We're watching this in Biology ^_^ It's a great movie so far.

  • Im in love with 2:00 - 2:05

    I cant stop watching it!!!!

The music of this video is simply perfect.

  • What's this song?

    thanks

  • @puju85

Brian Eno - An Ending (Ascent)

  • I have this one as 720p mkv. It's really a wonder

  • belle video

  • Sencillamente hermoso...no tengo mas palabras.

  • Oh my goodness! I finally found it! Love this movie....love this movie. :)

  • Fok you, Then. Zoids and insects.

  • Listen to Tool while watching this

  • nice music by brian eno on this.

  • Maravilhoso.

  • The metamorphosis of Butterfly is Life on this BEAUTIFUL PLANET,every single insect, human, plants, three change season after season and are completly connected, you find purebeauty and peace in the Nature peace and Amour à tous

  • *coughspacescough* and it's tree not three ;)

  • i love trees and we need them....Love

  • @arcencielili Geez, chief, give me some of that stuff you're using, seems to get you in quite a rush.

  • @arcencielili Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason

    Qran 2:164

  • musique et image magnifique

  • This microcosmos is enjoyable contemplating by curious people, yet hypnotic for creative ones

  • Realy hypnotic, just like the universe or the planet earth series, I am watching this with my mouth open, while my brain melts. Loving it :)

People who like these thing should definatly watch the planet earth series + the koyaanisqatsi movies ( watch trailer here on youtube)

    Peace

  • Sadly, no. I still have no answer for that one. Scientists will probably say it's instinctive, but we can't really know for sure.

  • I've always wondered if butterflies are aware, by some evolutionary instinct, that they're going to change, or if their experience of metamorphosis is all, "WOAH! What the f!@#'s going on?!"

  • Also, the sound is terrific, thank you:)

  • I remember I got the videotape as a present when I was a little kid.

I've always been intrested in insects:)

  • The Brian Eno music is a strangely perfect fit for the footage. Some of these insects really are beautiful.

  • Where can I download a demo?

    jsdkljfklsdfjsdklfjdslkfjsdlkfjdsy

  • dfdaljfldfslkjgsldfjgldjgjksaklgjfl;jgklsdjglkdf!!!!

  • Carresing of soul... ty for that !

  • What a film!!!! Wonderful!!!

  • great+infinity

  • Gyönyörű !!!!

  • Insects don't look as scary when viewed close up. In fact, their very beautiful.

  • They are more scary when viewed close up... spiders for example. and snakes! i hate bugs. i wish i could squish them all to hell.

  • You fool, spiders don't eat you, they eat annoying things like mosquitos. But some people don't look at nature and see beauty...

  • Go kiss your "beautiful" creatures of nature and while you´re at it marry one of them. (and im not scared of spiders eating me, im disgusted how they look.)

  • Only because they don't look like us? Just because you can't conjure some anthropomorphic equivalent of a human face doesn't mean it deserves to die, if you aren't going to make use of it, like, say, eating it afterwards.

  • For your information i dont compare bugs to humans. humans are humans and bugs are bugs. and i hate bugs. and humans die because of your bitch arachnids and mosquitos. i dont care if they are essential to our nature. Fuck the nature, fuck the spiders, fuck you, and fuck me. hope world explodes... ANARCHYYYY!

  • I heard this music all used at the end of the movie Traffic.

  • who did this exact version of Ave Maria?

I love An Ending (Ascent) by Brian Eno.

  • This movie makes you love nature and the world very much. I love it.

  • beautiful

  • an ending (ascent) isn't actually in the movie, Bruno Coulais made the music for it

  • is this the music from the twin peaks sound track?!very ambient!!i like!!

  • music from 28 days later(movie) from michael andrews

  • I think the song at 4:00 min is Ave Maria... I was thinkin of this song at the beginning but the Hitman version

  • i think this might be from the 28 days later soundtrack. hell of a zombie movie, yes.

  • Yes, it is the Ave Maria.

  • Did you add music to this??...my DVD copy is totally different...it starts with quoir children singing about dragonflies and slugs...buzzing. Then it's totally silent in the following parts for awhile...

  • i didn't know an ending (ascent) was in this movie

i saw this in fifth grade it was so cool

  • brian eno's perfect for this

  • I just love it...

but anyway thank for this vid and hope people think about it !

    great!!

  • Thank you so much for putting this up! I heard about Microcosmos about a year ago and had been wondering if and when I'd ever see it! :)

  • respect your opinion

  • it blows my mind that people leave hundreds of comments on videos of 13 year old girls talking about their pathetic extistence in middle school, but no one ever discusses incredible works such as Claude Nuridsany's Microcosmos. People, please stop filling your minds with worthless video blogs and attempt to watch something that actually offers rich content.

  • I agree wholeheartedly, but still, a little instant gratification in terms of some humor is not totally out of the question, is it?

  • i agree with u 100% !
