any kind really, most artist that i know (including myself) use sketch markers which holds more ink, but all of them are pretty much the same (just diff. sizes)

Question: I want to buy these markers for drawing cars.But how can I shade well with these markers? If you push harder then the color will be darker and if you don't push to hard the color will be lighter?

ur right about the door, but i wouldn't say it looks really stupid. yes, the perspective is messed up in variously places, like the back lights, the wheels, and the shadow but remember he did this with a marker. and for a marker, the shading is great and plus there's no erasing

They look kind of like Prismacolour markers but I could be wrong. If you're looking to buy some, prismacolour or Copic markers are what I use for vehicle renderings. It looks like he's using shades of cool grays

Chartpak markers! They are the juiciest pens and they don't contain the solvent that prisma and copic have that smears ballpoint. The biggest down fall is just how juicy they are - you have to sketch big and with marker paper or else it will soak into the paper beyond your lines.

i wouldnt want to ink with ballpoint anyway. i could never consider a bic a professional medium to be used with industry products

He's using a ballpoint here... I am a professional and I always lay down my drawings with ballpoint. You can get a very light underlay to a dark dynamic before committing to a felt tip. Sketching everyday with a ball point will make you king of the world.

I was saying that to help you. I am a professional and don't care to show you anything. Ball point is industry tool 101. If you've had any fine art or design education you'd quickly find that inexpensive cannot be replaced by big name art supplies. A $2000 pair of skis wont help you ski like a pro.

Youtube is a breeding ground for angry comments. Get a hold of yourself or go find a real fight. I have some renderings due at 10am - my tool 5H pencil and papermate ballpoint on Xerox paper - $1.30

I have no tips for that.

All of of that is freehand drawing.

white pencil crayon...also white oil pastel works well but can get messy...pencil crayons and markers work well together...use the pencil crayon to sharpen edges and add depth...but use white sparingly
