How can I be involved in one of these mock demonstrations, are there any demonstrations coming to Dallas anytime soon? My fellow O.I.F vets and I would would love to be a part of this movement...
jesus, as if people aint allowed to repent. Its like we people rather them NOT to be remoreful so that way we can hate them more. Wow, it shows that we can be the bigger monsters. And then, if they were NOT sorry, we'd hate them anyway. Looks to me we would rather hate the troops either way.
Establish bases in and American influence in Iraq? How is that freedom? I bet you wouldnt even get angry if Iraq did this to us. Wake up PRROLG! Big ups, IV4P!
I am a conservative and I still support the war in Iraq, but I must admit that the IVAW is a top notch political organization and I have nothing but respect for it. The manner they got peoples attention is both unique and highly effective. I am glad to be in a nation where people can protest like this. I don't agree with what the IVAW, but its all good to me. BTW the music sucked so bad it was far to "hippish" and would turn off conservatives and mainstreamers.
We will stay in Iraq. The American people are way too passive. They should have been stomping the shit out of you guys in NYC that day. Stomping with a crowd of 1000. Go fuck yourself.
All of the actions in that and every OFC are based on the experiences of someone in that patrol. Whether you agree with the war or not the American people have a right to see what is being done in their name.
To be sure I have this straight, you think that the American people should attack their own soldiers for exercising their first amendment rights? Maybe I missed it in Social Studies, but isn't free speech what America is all about?
No it isn't. These are not the American peoples own soldiers. These guys are fucking scum and anti-American assholes with personal problems.Soldiers are over there doing the job. Try your free speech in my front yard. Come armed.
The peoples passivity that day merely shows that a few are doing the work for all. Not you guys, the few who are serving the nation. You could hear a pin drop in Iraq if all of America was behind that mission.
A USO table was set up next to a Naval mobile Naval recruiting truck at a college rowing event in Phila. I don't know why.The kids and their parents walked by us by the hundreds and looked at us like we were scum.MORE>
Worse yet like we were zoo amimals, curiosity. We had a donation jar. It was empty after 5 hrs. I was with the USO that day. If you guys had showed up at the fifth hour I would have found your biggest guy and killed him with my bare hands.
Well, yes I think you are a pathetic angry man who claims to love America and hate Americans. You have no regard for points of view other than your own and disregard the constitution completely. I don't know what your problem is. But you are a whack job.
You people accuse, attack the administration when our military is engaged and opposition to you is characterized as having not regard for others point of view. Go and have any point of view you want. MORE>
Every thing I see you do beyond a point of view makes me angry. If you think you are just "having a point of view" you are delusional. You guys are scum. I call you out.
You answer how I called you out on accusing me of taking away your free speech liar! Got a problem with it? The American people are mainly middle of the road and are really behind our presence in this world. You are a spinner and a liar. Let's get down.

What YOU did in Iraq? Now that you're safely on U.S. soil—you've this sudden epiphany of consciousness and you march up and down the street screaming the whole of the U.S. military have committed war crimes. So why in the hell haven't you turned yourself in to be tried for YOUR war crimes? Yeah, we all know why you don't. You're a fucking treasonous liar!
I've been fighting with youtube trying to reply. I'm sorry for the delay. I hope your husband comes home safe and relatively unaffected. If he needs any safety equipment while he's over there, please let us know at bake sales for body armor. Thanks for your sharing your thoughts. Charlie
I have no problem with you having a different point of view. I have a problem with you threatening people who have done nothing save voice their own opinion. Moreover, its disgracful that you would tell any Iraq war veteran that they do not have the right to talk aobut their expierience.
Glad you said that. A veteran who served in Iraq and is now anti-military and anti Bush Administration. It thats all he's got! I'll spit right in his face. Nov 2008? I don't care what we get ,we're staying in Iraq. Get the fuck on board!
Fair enough it's your channel. I'm just a troll. I don't threaten anyone but I will call you out. I don't believe in standing by while protesters go beyond protesting. Take care.
I wasn't there, so I know nothing of what you are talking about. But, I will say that I am a member of the VFW and the Legion. I also co-founded a non profit that has raised over 35K to buy body armor for service members in Iraq. In my experience, the American people are generous and kind hearted.
If the mission was not making American citizens less safe or hell, if there was a mission, then perhaps the American people would be behind it. As it is, there is no viable mission and America is less safe today.
There is a debate today over wether American citizens are less safe. I feel more safe. I say Americans are MORE safe. The mission now is to establish bases in Iraq, the middle east and grow Iraq with American influence. Get out of 2003. That's over.
NIE after NIE shows that Iraq has become a training ground for terrorists. We have not imporved our infrastructure. T hus we are still volnerable to attck. Growing Iraq with American influence only inflames the situation almost assuring another attack.
Let me try this again. I rmember very clearly the oath I took three times during my military career was to support and defend the constitution. Every man or woman on that patrol served at least one combat tour in Iraq.
Then you understand the awesome responsibility of the President but you ignore it. You head is too big perhaps. What you've done with body armor is awesome.I salute you for that.MORE>
Americans are generous but they are bored with the war.Britney is on TV and American idol more important to most Americans. We are more safe out 30 yrs. We need this foothold in the Middle East with bases. Can't you see that? See past today? National security?
We only need bases in the Middle East if we are an imperial power. We created much of the crisis in the Middle East by installing the Shah and funnelling weapons to various regimes in ME. Moreover, Iran helped us oust the Taliban and were willing to give up all weapons programs. Had we not declared them an Enemy, we would not be in the situation we are today.
You seem to be ignoring the fact that the people elect leaders to be their voice. What's more, we have three branches of government to prevent a chief executive from amassing too much power. The president has chosen to ignore his oath to the constitution and repeatedly makes this nation a target for our enemies. I don't know why you can't see that. Perhaps your head is too small.
This is a great video, but I found it depressing that it appeared to be Memorial Day, by all the flags, and most of the people didn't even seem to notice these guys. Some sat there on their park benches eating their lunches as though these guys didn't even exist. Maybe that's the truth, don't look and you won't see. SAD!
Did you ever sit on a park bench and eat lunch. Don't you think people were wondering wtf was going on? Are you a propagandist? Or an easy target of it?
