First of all, this is both a combination of predictions of what's gonna be good & what's gonna suck but Shutter Island was dull & unoriginal yet everyone keeps claiming it's something new when they apperently haven't seen many movies. It got mixed reviews anyway.

I haven't seen Macgruber but while I am also not favorable towards it, it's getting rather good reviews right now. I did not give it a top spot. I gave Toy Story 3 a top spot.Narnia is great; don't lie.Heard mixed reception for Shrek 4

I personally loved Shutter Island. Scorsese used a really interesting way to symbolize peoples insanity with the editing, effects, colors, etc. and was much more original that majority of the movies coming out lately. Didn't like Clash of the Titans, Daybreakers, Green Zone, or Brooklyn's Finest (thought it was really cliché), but we all have our own opinions.

Style can't compensate for lack of substance. It was pretty much another "Sixth Sense"/ supernatural type thriller except it was all inside this guy's head.

Sure, the latter film's ending was implausible but everything before it was rewarding seeing the amazing acting & the misfortune each character's place in the story took was believable.

Shutter Island had horrible direction despite the talent involved & Leonardo DiCaprio overacted. The story was by a writer who had two Z-grade films under his belt so to call it great storytelling couldn't be farther from the truth

You must not watch a lot of movies or something because Brooklyn's Finest in particular had some pretty terrible direction, the final scene in particular and the rest is just a collage of crime drama clichés. Shutter Island was adapted from a novel by the amazing author of Mystic River/Gone Baby Gone, not an original screenplay by a "Z grade writer".

I'm aware that Dennis Lehane wrote the book that Shutter Island takes it's source material from but the screenplay was written by Laeta Kalogridis, who only has lots of bad movies on his resume (Pathfinder, Alexander, Nightwatch).

Brooklyn's Finest got way more favorable reviews & didn't have horrible direction but it's ending was flawed.

My research is actually correct, Brooklyn's Finest has a 25% (or "Rotten") on the rotten tomatoes meter which averages every critics review. Nearly every review for Shutter Island says Scorsese did an incredible job on the directing and opposite for BF. Also, it doesn't matter what the writers previous works are, every writer writes something good eventually. Just sayin.

I can't wait for Jonah Hex and the Expendables, but I thought Iron Man 2 was Friggin Awesome. The action was cool and there was some pretty good comedy as well. Also, it's a building block for The Avengers come 2012. Plus, that scene at the end of the credits was just plain awesome. You may hate it, but I would never compare it to Transformers no matter what faults you found with it. Other than that I agree with the rest of the list.

Iron Man was just a lame excuse to show off CGI & have a spin-off for THOR and the upcoming AVENGERS movie.

Mickey Rourke was terrible as the bad guy. Only redeeming quality was supporting actors like Sam Rockwell & Don Cheadle.

Expendables will of course be hated by critics like RAMBO 4 & DIE HARD 4 but they will make lots of cash & be received well I can guarantee you that.

A-TEAM will be either a waste of cash or decent like the Get Smart movie

oh one more thing. IGN had enough time to rate the Last airbender Cartoon and nothing was below a 7. Some episodes got 10 out of 10. I even take back what i said about Brooklyn's Finest because i judged it prematurely without delving deep to its idea. On the other hand your mistke at predicting AVATAR: The Last Airbender was a failure.

Everybody likes cartoons but Nikelodeon hasn't done a good show for some time.

This show only truly appealed to hardcore fans of fantasy, had a lame ripped-off anime style, had poor voice-overs, had lame magic powers, fights that weren't even close to cool.

Most of it's fanbase seemed to be 6 to 14-year-olds

While Iron Man 2 wasn't as good as the first, it was still a good movie and even if you didn't like it, putting it in the same league as Transformers 2 is really low, dude.

Plus on a best/worst list I think it's a bit unfair to make such harsh predictions for some of these movies. I dislike The Last Airbender (the cartoon) but I'm still gonna give the movie a chance.

I'm just one of those people to where I'm in-between on my movie-going experience. If the movie relies on knowledge of the comic book or novel, it's a failure as a film.

Granted, if it's not at all like the comics or book then why bother associating it with the same name.

Also, I'm not a big fan of CGI. I like it when it's used well in films like STAR WARS, LORD OF THE RINGS, HARRY POTTER, DISTRICT 9 or various action movies.
