Once again, wonderful; process, humour, action - you've got it all. I've never used a remote, as I'm petty sure it would get crushed the first time out. Please keep doing these, they really are great.
Well, I can tell you from experience that your main problem with a remote will be losing the damn thing when you try to toss it out of frame. My kittens will often pounce it and carry it off or else it will bounce away and, since I don't wear my glasses for photos, it takes a long time to find it. ;) I think you do a lovely job, timer and all.

A remote would certainly make things easier. I've got the same problem XD
