  • a true child of God. he sought peace and love between all people and that is all God wants for us. He may not have been religious but he certainly he used his gifts the way God intended them to be used, for love because that is what he truly desired. and that is what makes him a true child of God.

  • @westernwizard13 nice comment :)

  • @nightcrawler511 thank you

  • ‎'When you listen to that song that blows your mind, put yourself in that song, use your imagination, lose yourself within the rythum, you can feel your heartbeat go with the song, the whole world stops revolving, you start to imagine life in different aspects, its a great thing, the imagination, the music ,combining both is unexplainable' F.A

  • Happy Birthday, John. Wherever you are, you are here. <3

  • John was born on this day, the 9th of October in 1940.

    Happy birthday, John.

Wherever you are, you're always here - in millions of hearts and trillions of thoughts.

  • Fantastic and Great,

I Love John Lennon! I wrote a music for John Lennon called The LAW.

    Estudio RDP-Brasilia, BRAZIL.Alberto Dias

  • Notice the War is Over poster at 3:10. John and Yoko had those posters out all over Europe during the Vietnam war (c. 1970). True pacifist that he was, he paid for them out of his own pocket.

  • @musicfanBRA But had'nt the north Vietnamese been still refusing peace talks at the time?

  • Lennon 1 MCcartney 2

Ive ben in both their childhood homes!

  • Lennon is my "second " hero. Paul is the first !

    Love this men :D

  • That first picture of him is simply adorable.

  • This is from Mind Games. 1973.

  • Wherever you are John, you are here.We love you forever and ever.you will be here always, because your love makes this world keep going

  • beautiful !!!!!!!!!!! ='( ,,,, =)

  • Pues si,esta en mind games; From Liverpool, to tokio, what a way to go. precioso tema que al igual que intuicion y otros de este lp, se le podría haber sacado mas provecho si Lennon no hubiese querido hacerlo casi todo.El produce, canta, y toca la guitarra, el resto musicos de estudio, menos el saxo de Bobby Keyes, que murió poco despues de salir el disco,se nota en :One day at a time.

  • Sometime In New York City had great song listen to the title song New York City that is rock and roll at its best

  • Every John Lennon Song is his best song. He IS a musical genious :)

  • John Lennon will always be the best songwriter we had.

  • John, you are here! kiss

  • nine!

  • Wherever I am, I am here

  • 2 people are stupid.

  • Wow, this is my first time hearing this. What a great song!!!!

  • I think this song is SO beautiful. Why have I never really given it that much attention? Anyway, to say it isn't his best is understandable, but you have to admit if it was any other artist this could easily be their best ever. But of course we're talking about John Lennon. He had hundreds of amazing songs, good grief.

  • I'm a Beatles fan and specially a Lennon fan and I must say this song is good but it is not one of the best 50 songs of Lennon alone or with The Beatles. Lennon has so many better songs than this one...Perhaps 50? Sure!

  • @jorditass Has to be among the "best 50" of Lennon (apart from Beatles) as Lennon didn't live long enough to accumulate a total of 50 songs in his solo career. As a Lennon fan myself, I would not even consider the political tripe of "some time in New York City" as part of consideration, so it boils down to John Lennon/Plastic Ono band, Imagine, Mind Games, Walls & Bridges, & Double Fantasy for consideration. (Rock N' Roll 1975 were none of his songs).

  • @greenwich1754 In my comment I was saying "it's not one of the best 50 songs of Lennon alone or with The Beatles" so that I was including his songs of The Beatles. The Beatles have 300 songs and 140 songs at the least were Lennon songs. I agree with you about Lennon solo career. It has few songs as when Sean was born he stopped making music for 5 years (from 1975 to 1980)

  • @greenwich1754 I would count his songs on "Milk & Honey," the bonus stuff on the Anthology, and his singles. And "STINYC" is not as it seems. It's got some great songs, if you can place yourself in that day and age I imagine a person going crazy for them. Great music, just very topical lyrics. Personally, I dig it. I'm a great music fan and I have great taste, but my opinion is slightly biased as I think John Lennon was simply the greatest pop/rock songwriter of the 20th century.

  • It has a similar melody to Beatles´ song "India" from 1968 sessions for the white album...

  • @Smoogly5 nah mate, it's on mind games the album.. cheers for the upload

  • WTH ?? this is an amazing song !!!

  • Truly a masterpiece. I still don't understand how today's generation likes autotuned shit when there are masterpieces like this

  • es y sera un amo de la musica, miles de abrazos hasta donde quiera que estes, seras para mi, mi padre señor lennon!!!!!

su musica permanecera para siempre aun asi pasen los años, su musica sera avivada!!!!!

  • @cometandcupids Uh, almost after 30

  • 1:07 the genius comes out!

  • What a fab song, after all these years - immortal....

  • I love John

  • Although your physical form is gone John...."You are here"

  • i love how lennon made his songs come to life with pure passion --musically, everybody could do that,- but lennon "did it"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLES GUTE ZUM GEBURTSTAG!!!!

  • Te AMO SIETE

  • Te AMO SIETE

  • want to know what a "sweet dream" sounds like?....

    it sounds like this song.

    "You are here"

    this is a great song.

  • amo esta cancion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great song

  • Lennon understood religion to be nothing more than grope death anxiety

  • INTRIGANTE!!1

  • this songs is full of images, john is the only artist who really express his feelings through his music, his lyrics, his voice, his image.Wherever you are you are here, in my heart and at my thoughts,be well john

  • This is one of my favorite John solo songs :)

  • Isn't that George's classic Slide Guitar in the background btw?

  • No.....that's a peddal slide

  • @andyjohnD Nope, that's Lennon's classic slide. Harrison didn't appear on any Lennon records after 'Some Time in NYC', if I'm not mistaken.

  • @andyjohnD No, that would be pedal steel provided by none other than the Gumby animator and Flying Burrito Brother known as Peter E. "Sneaky Pete" Kleinow.

  • 2:03.. Such an ironic pic it is! Smiling and posing in front of the place where he was shot after some time! Any way we miss you man! Rest In Peace!

  • @kreeepyy Well, it's not that ironic when you tke into to consideation that that was the building that he lived in for the remainder of his years....

  • lennon, i miss you... although i've never seen you

  • feliz cumpleaños amigo john lennon

  • Yeah

  • He says "9" in the beginning of the song?

  • @LesPaulization either that or he said "Nein!" which is german for no XD

  • Haha I think 9 is his favorite number though)()()(*(*(&&^&^

  • @LesPaulization The number 9 was kinda his thing.

  • This song is so beautiful it makes me cry...Beware of Darkness by George Harrison is another 1 of my favs!

  • what a stupid comment

  • Life and existence is beautiful ,it is pure un-adult-erated bliss now.The so-called world is a universe of FALSE concepts ,words and names ontop of our wonderful Life and what's more you ARE LIFE ITSELF. NOW.

  • Comment removed

  • Hmmm... deep thought. Is this someone elses or u just made that up.

  • Where your body is ,is where you will attain Enlightenment ,awakening is no longer just 4 the very, very ,very lucky few!I am Enlightened i know it is not only possible but it is vital if we are to survive in human existence.

  • You are here ,here and Now if you want freedom, real love deep peace bliss ,then 4 Christ's sake Be Here and Now,every word here is measured 4 you now!

  • Lovely

  • Sounds every note like classic "JOHN LENNON"! Thanks for sharing.

  • Beautiful song with beautiful lyrics.

  • "mind games"-my fav.album in the 70ies.

  • Great song. A CLASSIC.

  • A song like this would be considered a classic for any other artist and would have 4 million views, but because it's John Lennon it got lost and overshadowed in all his other great work. Paul and George have the same problem: too much great work, and people only have so much time to sift through it.

  • Exactly!

  • i didn't even hear this song of JohnLennon but i really love him..i don't know how but his lyrics and songs always totally express my life instead of me...so perfect so honest so true...i live like 5000kms from my love and it so hard without him..but this song perfectly talk about it.John Lennon is the BEST(L)

  • Beautiful lyrics!

    Thank you for posting!

    Bless you!

  • I love this song¡¡¡¡

  • whoo hoo past 2,000 its time to celebrate.

  • I love it. Thanks for the fantastic post

  • This is on the Working Class Hero album, as for which version im not exactly sure, i hope i kinda answered your question.

  • @Smoogly5 Not! This is from "Mind Games"

  • @Smoogly5

Isn't it off the album, Mind Games?

  • @Smoogly5 This song is off the 1973 album "Mind Games". As to the "Working Class Hero" album, there is no such album, of which i am aware. Lennon did do an album in 1970 called "John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band", on which was the song "Working Class Hero".

  • @greenwich1754 there is an album called "Working Class Hero: The Definitive Lennon" which is a compilation album

  • @greenwich1754 there is a album called working class her. the full name of the cd is The Definitive Lennon: Working Class Hero. its a good album you should search it and listen to it

  • @Smoogly5 I thought it was on MInd Games?

  • Great song , great song ... But this doesnt sound like either the Ming Games version or the anthology version i have ... which one is it ? Thanks again, amazing amazing song.

  • Well. i think this is our verison? he made it espically for us!

  • yes,he did,babe.

  • these are great...do you like wings?

  • This is great. i love how the pictures flow with the song. 5/5. You should definitely make more.
