@llllllllj It's not a quick as a BMW M3 or a C63 AMG, and it's only slightly quicker in a strait line when being compared to a HSV GTS. I'd also have to ask you if you've seen the HSV E3 GTS's interior... it's a pretty nice place to be! And mate I don't think the F6 is a well engineered as say an R35 Nissan GTR or a Porsche 911 Turbo...

When you compare the locally manufactured cars to imports, the locals come on top when it comes to bang for buck and durability in Australian conditions. Alot of this has to do with import tariffs but you can't deny that a car designed by local engineers to the tastes of the local population isn't going to be the best car available to that locale?? It is not to say that other cars suck, just in Australia, Australian cars are best.

The title, from what I can gather is referring to the cars 80-120km time of 2.8 seconds. From what the magazines say, it has a quicker 80-120 time than the 911 turbo and 612 Scaglietti. Pity they didn't test its acceleration on a broader parameter just to show what a monster these things are in a straight line.

for factory tuned cars these are very fast yes but az for modifyed japas with modifyed rbs thats (race bred) and with over 500kg less than the ford easy, and az for the cef being a taxi the ford is 1 of the most common taxi in nz so what,go the taxi's.

mite be fast in a str8 line but id like 2 see it go aroud a corner then try drift that corner @ over 180km+.

14.28km/h per second is the average speed it takes to go from 80-120 in 2.8 seconds. If you divide 100 by 14.28, the 0-100 time would be closer to 7.00 seconds according to your logic. I beleive you were looking for, 4.9 seconds for the 0-100. =]
