Baldwin has two big flaws. First, he is getting ZERO media coverage and is doing nothing to get attention drawn to his campaign. Second, he is a 9/11 truther, meaning he believes 9/11 was done by our government. His biggest supporter is Alex Jones, who is nothing but a glorified conspiracy theorist. This gives him even less credibility. I like his policies, but the fact of the matter is that he has marginilized himself by associating with the extremist element of his party.
Barr has worked the last two years to repeal the Patriot Act, DOMA, the Drug War, and the Iraq War. This is not simply an overnight conversion, but one that is reflected in his actions. I would encourage you to ignore the rhetoric and look at the candidate for yourself.
Yes. Another intelligent prospect for President! Bob Barr does'nt impress like a bellowing holyman or a makebelieve conservative-Bob Barr speaks with more relevent content and more concicely on any issue in 1 minute than the republicrats.

I assume it meant either someone who owned a small tract of land, or who was under a lord, but not obligated to work a set amount of time on his land, and was not tied to the land. Serfs owed their lord a certain number of days of labor each week, and they and their ancestors were tied to the land they worked.
To be absolutely sure, though, I'd have to look at the Latin word that's translated as "freeman."
you look like a dumb bitch with that hat on showing your saggy tits. fuck you slut

Not only did Bob Barr vote for the Patriot Act, but also for the war in Iraq, and the Department of Homeland Security.
Don't settle patriots! Chuck Baldwin 2008!

The Magna Carta was indeed signed in 1215. good memory, congressman.

He's right about the date, but the Magna Carta only really applied to the barons and other landed gentry. Habeus Corpus arose out the common law.

Here's what the MC has to say on the matter:
(39) No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions, or outlawed or exiled, or deprived of his standing in any other way, nor will we proceed with force against him, or send others to do so, except by the lawful judgement of his equals or by the law of the land.

Thanks for the info, but what was the Magna Carta's definition of a free man?
