  • the 1997-present Volkswagen New Beetle is/was assembled in

    1997–1999: Wolfsburg, Germany

    1998–2010: Puebla, Mexico

    2010–present: Hai Phong, Vietnam

  • @Jakeman2164

Well those were the good old bugs.. I never thought people got ripped over driving those...... I was referring to the 98-2011 beetle which the version that gets all the heat LOL

  • @Jakeman2164

I'm pretty much on the same boat & will drive anything to my liking..... But the reason why the beetle falls into the category its in is for it's feminine looks. Thats why the Mini doesnt get picked on because It has somewhat of a more defined shape or a more masculine look & its a car that anyone will look good in whether gay, str8, men, women, old or young. Thats something the current beetle doesn't have yet. Tho that will change a quite a bit with the next beetle coming.

  • Oh boy. I have mixed feelings about this vid. I think the turbo Beetles are cool, my sister had a 2006 VW Beetle with the 2.5 five cylinder. JUNK.

  • Is 5 valves per cylinder too much? How do you figure out if you should have 3 intake valves and 2 exhaust valves or vise versa?

  • @xoquixxoqafxo

Wow I had that engine dead smack in the face & didn't think about the 20 Valves. Thats insanity & I thought 4 was plenty complicated enough. Jeeze now your question has me thinking here LMAO..

  • @Intechdude300

lol I used to be in the mechanical engineering program at my school so I guess I think like one sometimes haha too bad, maybe I should have stayed in it LOL

  • @xoquixxoqafxo

In highschool?? If so lucky you cause I wanted to enter that class & in order to go you had to of been involved in the Football or at least of been involved in a sport. Only thing is I noticed recognized lots of players down there when I once brought down a Computer with loaded software for the to use. I was like WTF at my counselor unless she BS me.

  • @xoquixxoqafxo yeah it should be 3 intake, 2 exhaust valves if I'm not mistaken...

  • @mercmilan06

    Even numbers are best lol

  • The Turbo S models are pretty quick with 30 more hp than the standard turbo 1.8L engine but its got some torque steer and an annoying deployable spoiler on the roof that pops out at like 40 mph or something. Everytime it retracts and deploys it sounds like something fell off the car lol

  • @xoquixxoqafxo

I'm not really Gaga over the 1.8L T cause they dont have a nice history, but I've mentioned b4 the 01 Passat I drove with this engine & it was a fun to drive. Not neck snapping but once the Turbo caught up the car flew. Not to crazy about the spoiler either, well the whole car really. Ok combo under the hood but too chickish of a car. Maybe they tried to appeal more to dudes with trim but I think maybe it works better for Les*an$ hahahaha, just JK...

  • @Intechdude300

LOL! I think this car is still to girly for lesbians! Besides, Subaru is the number 1 choice for lesbians haha

  • @xoquixxoqafxo

Never looked at it that way, Here in FL I see many Driving 2 Dr Jeep Wranglers LMAO!!

  • those 1.8 turbo engines are garbage.

  • Cute little cars but a car a women would drive

  • @Intechdude300 I originally removed the comment because I mistyped something

  • Same styling since 1998, inside and out. Meh, it's okay, I guess.

  • @fanowner12

y was the comment marked as spam??

  • @fanowner12 There was a slight redesign to the bumpers and instrument cluster in 2006.
