yeah we dont always practice it but it is better to be in a seat belt than trying to put a pack on especially in the front seat where you are blocking the view for the driver
So u don't want him to put his pack on so when he gets on scene all he has to do is pull a line, ur department prolly doesn't even have packs in the cab of the truck, am i right?
It takes nothing to get your arms through the straps BEFORE rolling, or at the least shortly after rolling. I don't think getting up and dancing around the cab is a good idea. And yes, we have a policy regarding this.
