  • Music to my ears <333

  • I LOVE DIO!!! but i prefer Coverdale`s version better

  • @FlyinVJs30RR NO WAY

  • simply amazing... I miss you Dio...

  • The Dio is the best singer ever, a unique voice, he sings a lot more than Coverdale, but I prefer the Coverdale singing, he is certainly the voice of the Blues. Mistreated is a song about a broken heart! this version doesnt expalin this feeling. David coverdale's version with the amanzing ritchies guitar is the best version!

  • @jiujitsu2911 DIO blows Coverdale away with style, strength and sincerety.

  • AMAZING!!! Glenn may have the highest notes but the voice of dio is the most Fcking powerful .

  • que du bonheur !!!

  • ΤΙ ΦΩΝΗ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΑΥΤΗ....?!?!!

  • its Cozy Powell on drums???

  • mistreated is a song about a broken heart!this version doesnt expalin this feeling.David coverdale's version with the amanzing ritchies guitar is the best version!all my respects for dio,but hes not right for this soing!

  • I'll be asking myself until he's in. Why is he not in the Hall Of Fame? 1957 to 2010 That's a heck of a career for anyone. But Grandmaster Flash is in (scratching my head) Really?

  • @rjdshmetal I don't think that's the question to ask. Gmr Flash is a DJ, something totally different and he was its primary pioneer, like Hendrix with innovating the guitar. The question is why'd Metallica go in before bands like Deep Purple, Rainbow and Iron Maiden, who paved the way? Zep and Sabbath are in. Purple and Rainbow should be next. Jethro Tull, Yes, etc.

  • BRAVOOOOO BOYS !!!!!

  • La version de California Jam es la mejor.

  • i tell u ronnie sounds soooo much more metal then glenn hughes- sorry glenn

  • "David Coverdale". Perdón

  • Aaaaaaaah.... ya sé quién vota negativo... Davis Coverdale.... jajajajajajaajaja

  • ¿Quien es el borrego que vota que no le gusta???

  • DIO & BLACKMORE.....you don't need more words......FANTASTIC!

  • Breathtaking!!!!

  • Dio is "THE" voice of Metal, this song sounds more Heavy with Ronnie´s voice

  • i don,t care whos singing,,,richies skills are what make it

  • I prefer Dio to Coverdale, but my fav version of this song is Deep Purple in Cali Jam '74. It's slower and has a bluesy feel to it.

  • @anonymouslolxD

correct! This is a blues song, period! Dio's voice is unbelievable, but just not fitting to this song...someone else on a different post wrote that he "metalised" it, which is 100% correct...David with his deep bluesy voice does this song full justice....now, just imagine Mistreated sung by vocal GOD himself, Paul Rodgers....!! eh..?? Now, this is worth waiting for..!

  • @aspabagourda Wait, is Rodgers gonna sing this?!?!

  • I think Dio was a way better "Mistreated" warrior than Coverdale. So much passion and feelings in his performance. RIP dear friend Ronnie J....

  • Love the Guitar Tone on this song!! Really Feel that Glen Hughes can Hit the High note a Bit Better though!!

  • @sngncwby LOLLL NOT

  • I would like to play the guitar like that!

  • 6:10 - 6:18

    The world has stopped.

  • I've been Mistreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeated... I've been abuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuused, oh.

    Epic vocal intro.

  • I saw Rainbow open for Foghat (WTF!!!) in '77. It was easily the best show I had seen to date and still stands out today. I've seen Coverdale do this as well, but Dio just lights it up.

  • THIS IS AWESOME..I HAVE THE RAINBOW ALBUM WITH THIS LIVE STUFF BUT THIS IS A DIFFERENT SHOW..THANKS

  • Was Ritchie recording this?

  • Aguante Dio siempre con nosotros

    \m/

  • Good version but I like Coverdale's better.

This song was made for his voice.

  • @1946Freddie1991 coverdale is way off

  • poia vodia kanan dislike???eleos pia me tin asxetosyni orismenon edo mesa!!!ante deite kamia tsonta na xelampikarete pou kanete kai mousika sxolia anideoi na poume ..oust!!!

  • I play this song everytime Im at the bar. I don't care if no one knows the song. They friggin should know it

  • Dio dio-ised this song and made it better, quite metal. I never liked the studio version but this one is incredible. Dio + Ritchie + Cozy = the best band ever

  • Awesome. R.I.P Ronnie

  • I miss him RIP Dio

  • This is sooooo classic.. I miss Ronnie! Excellent.. ty.. Piece of Fantastic..Blackmores guitar.. ahhhhhhhhh love it.

  • I feel like a cobra listening to that guitar

  • RIP Dio, long live Mr. Blackmore!!! ^_^

  • Dio is a great singer, but this song is only for coverdale type of voice, kinda heavy and bluesy, even gillan i think wouldn't be great singing this song

  • @ArpeggioBear

Agree 100%. It's DC's song. No-one else can do it justice!

  • DIO = DIOS

  • Que Grande La Voz De Dio!!!!!!

  • This is so fuckin' awesome!!!! I love Purple's "Burn" and I obviously love Rainbow!!! Ronnie's version is just...emotion...R.I.P. Dio.

  • I wish there were bands like this now days..

    what can I say

    only - WOW

  • its to bad you have to go to a renaissance fair to see ritchie play lord of the rings music.

  • Ronnie probably did Mistreated better than Coverdale in terms of vocal, but no one can sing it as emotionally as David did. Both versions are epic

  • AMAZING.......keep on rockin`.....

  • Is this MISS mistreated or Mistreated the Deep Purple one?

  • @trekkian88 the last one.

  • @trekkian88 Mistreated

  • Dio killed the Coverdale with his only song

  • DIO REST IN PEACE - WE LOVE YOU! SAW WHITESNAKE TONIGHT, COVERDALE IS "PRETTIER" BUT DIO BLOWS HIM AWAY FROM THE GREAT BEYOND!!!

  • @MrSnowdawg damn right!! cozy was a bad ass drummer!

  • in this video Ronnie sings this song better than Coverdale... it's simply Stratospheryc, maybe that's because Dio was and will be an eternal god... Ronnie, we miss you...

  • @SantyWilly blows Coverdale away

  • What a voice!

  • One of the greatest voices of all time!

  • RIP The Dio..forever will you be forgotten due to Since You Been Gone...gutted. The magic for those who know how to get it still makes it more special.

  • I have an uncle that for years as said he was at this concert ..............its took me awhile to realise what an honour that was!!

  • I don't know about anyone else, but my experience is that really, really good live performances are few and far between. This os one of them. Thanks very much for posting this. I was five when this performance happened. thanks to you, I can see it and share it with others. Thank you.

Thank God I got to see RJD with Black Sabbath in Saginaw MI. I sure wished I could have seen Rainbow with RJD he was one of the best singers Live or Studio. Also Dio did it better then Coverdale on the Burn Album

  • @parparousis21 de gustibus non disputandum

  • I remember it like it was yesterday, 16, Newcastle City Hall, ticket about £3...oh hell..just going to empty me bag

  • I feel mistreated by deejays. They took the audience away from the real art.

seen Rainbow three times with Dio and Cozy the best singer Rainbow ever had !

or should i say rock ever had !

  • bad assss!!

  • Looks like Westboro Baptist Church is down to 8 members... douche bag losers!

Ronnie left a part of his soul in every song he sang, and as this plays I think to self this is what lives on \m/ \m/

  • @Freedomquest08 ??????????????

  • @highseascaptain LOL... Sorry I wasn't clear. At t the time there were 8 thumbs down, and those WBC D-bags were the only ones I could picture hitting the thumbs down on this video. I was referring to the small group of WBC sign toters protesting at Ronnie's memorial. A person has to hate rock music period to thumbs down on this!

  • @Freedomquest08 Thank You Sir. I know the Ronny and Ritchie are/were deep into Satanism (been around) but no one is so pure they can say you bad me good. Ritchie is my favorite artist of all time and I'm not so shallow to get caught up in the rush of the message. Just enjoying the tunage. Take Care from Thailand

  • @Freedomquest08 what a disrespectful group.

  • the church, that is

  • 06:10

    DIO, I LOVE YOU!

  • I am charmed with it

  • Ronnie James Dio - The Greatest man ever sing!

  • @Cekocraft I can't disagree. To put some perspective on this, this man recorded his first song when '57 Chevys were rolling off the assembly lines.

How many singers could front a headline act such as Black Sabbath 52+ years into their singing career, and still have a strong enough voice to dominate the songs? Most bands quit writing music, and are doing has been reunion tours to supplement their retirement after about 25 years. Not Dio, as he was on top of his game to the end.

  • Now this is pure fucking rock music and song ,,ahhh Dio and Dave mmRappers suck this

  • 8 persons are earless

  • This causes serious goosebumps!

  • My 3 favorite live versions of this song:

#1 Deep Purple at August Jam - Blackmore and Coverdale

    # Tie for #2 Rainbow with RJD (may he RIP)/ Whitesnake

  • My faves - #1 Coverdale and Blackmore in Purple at the August Jam

Tie for #2 Whitesnake/Rainbow with RJD (may he RIP)

  • makes the hairs on the back of ur neck stand up:o

  • Holy shit! What a performance!

  • blackmore,powell,dio .QUE GRANDE

  • greatest song...

    really ....the best....

  • greatest song...

  • It'll be all Dio all day for me......

  • It's obvious, RAINBOW is the best ROCK BAND ever. No doubt !!!!!! We miss you Rithchie... All of your followers are just fucking useless.... Give us joy pls. again. I don't want to die, before a real RAINBOW concert. After that I don't mind.

  • Great!!!!!

  • DIO MAESTRO siempre en mis ondas LONG LIVE R@R

  • Lord, I think... I`ve misplaced my soul.

    Amazing song and wonderful performance.

    R.I.P Ronnie.

  • Would be interesting to hear what Yngwie would do with this....

  • @Robert11Ganamil Yngwie covered this on his inspiration album, its awesome!

  • @Robert11Ganamil Destroy it in his usual unemotional twiddle diddle fashion I expect!

  • @CelticReject Yes, and also filling up/overload with fast schredding twiddle diddle between the open chords , being afraid another musician of his band, maybe could get a lil more attention then Mr EgoTrip Himself.

  • I'm afraid7 people can be accused of mistreating music

  • who told you that ronnie is dead now?

  • Everytime I listen to this I can't believe Ronnie is dead, I thought Gods don't die! :(

  • @413Kristianna -his music never dies...

  • @413Kristianna they do not die, my friend, they do not..Ronnie will never die! He's immortal

  • @413Kristianna There is only one God and we are only humans walking the earth until he decides when we die. You are not in control no matter how much you wish to be. Just ask Dio. RIP

  • @dirtbagdarrell2008 TheArchitectHasLeftTheBuilding

  • @413Kristianna Me too. I miss him a lot

  • great feelin :) when you see that your speakers have more poweeer

and distortion/hard sounds kill your ear

  • grande ronnie...

  • How could anyone dislike this, it is beyond me, they certainly do not appreciate masters of the art of music \m/\m/

  • This whole band's lineup is legendary! Don't forget to mention Cozy Powell on the drums, RIP; Bob Daisley on bass; and David Stone on keyboards.

oh, and happy birthday, Ritchie (2 days ago)

  • RIP Ronnie. You deserve these teardrops of mine.

  • 6:11 gets me goosebumps!

  • WHEN I'M LISTENING DIO SINGING, I'M CRYING.

LONG LIVE RONNIE JAMES DIO, THE KING\m/

  • Left for day Holy Diver.....

  • Love the tune Blackmores classical guitarriffs in the middle are great as well But Dio's vocal is so intense Coverdale with Whitesnake equally as intense Just a kick ass song that sounds better live and extended then any studio cut could be

  • 06:11

    THIS IS DIO!

    GOD! Superb!

    Rest in peace, master!

  • OH LORD OH GOD GIMMIE BACK THOSE TIMES!!!

  • Maravilhoso!!!!! Estupendo!!!!!Bravo!!!!!!!

  • I've sync this video with audio track from CD to enhance the experience of enjoying this masterpiece.

    Nice..........!

  • Blackmore + Dio = Godlike

  • DIO super!

  • Dio Will Never die!

  • regardless if you prefer coverdale's to dio's version, dio still is a much better singer than coverdale. Dio's career is just so vast and grand, nobody can touch it. Dio was an opera singer, more or less, who could be compared to the likes of Andrea bocelli or Pavarotti.

  • @ijemekkos4life that is a stupid thing to say. I do prefer davids version just because he is a blues singer (which you can here) dio was to me not, but the greatest heavy metal singer ever. But you cant say that regardless which version you prefer, dio is a better singer. As good as Ronnie was in all kinds of raknings (except for Heavy Metal Vocalist rankings) david has ended up higher on the lists. Coverdale can sing heavy metal, hard rock, and blues. It's all a matter of opinion.

  • Ronnie's is much more powerful while David's more emotional, but David's live version isn't that good while Dio is singing live and equals to David's studio version...

  • @413Kristianna this is the first time i heard dio sing this one, still prefer coverdales live version on deep purple made in europe although i quite like this too just depends which version you got used to first i guess

funny i never liked the studio version at all though

i never liked dio singing ozzy's songs either but favourite lps include rainbow rising and heaven and hell

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome! Has there ever been a better partnership than Blackmore / Dio? Greatest rock / metal voice ever complemented by one of the most inspirational rock guitarists

  • que vocerron tenia Ronnie James Dio se fue una voz que jamas tendremos descanse en paz linda interpretacion.

  • As big a fan as I am of Dio, David Coverdale will always be my favourite singer. Its a shame they didnt record Mistreated with Dio on a Rainbow record... other than live...

Whitesnake did a pretty good version, its a live version on the Ready An' WIlling record.

  • The Begining is such a big explosion entering in your head, simply fantastic

  • Blackmore was OK so many better from that era that never got nothing

  • When I see Dio and Blackmore playing together at concert I feel like I am watching a ceremony. They make you understand that music is sacred and something that every musician should respect. But they're talents are more sacred than music. They are the Gods.. they're like they come from another planet. RIP Dio... there's gonna be a really long time till we find somebody like you.

  • rip dio

  • The part from 8:38 til 8:58 is just such a killer. What a supergroup with Blackmore, Powell, and Dio!

  • To anyone saying Dio sung this better than Coverdale, take a look at this EPIC performance: /watch?v=UvC5tTTaogI

I love both singers, I just believe this song fits better to David, because he is more the love-singer than Ronnie, who is more the mystical type. In David's performance you can see he feels every word he's singing, down to his soul! But that's my oppinion, and taste is personal for everybody, so I respect all oppinions. No quarrels here, both are Legends! Peace

  • @grvulture You got a point though i'm a huge fan of Dio/Cozy-era Rainbow. Maybe Coverdale's voice fits this song somewhat better since Dio has a bit too aggressive tone for such an emotional song. Long live R'N'R!
