Out of all the info you guys could relay this is the best you could do. Not that I don't appreciate the LITTLE info we get from NASA but I can't help to think nasa spends more money on Disinformation than true information
why is the drone flying from california? wouldnt it be easier to fly from florida? and fort lauderdale is in florida, this "hurricane expert" needs to study geography.
@DaR3b3L Currently the facilities for the Global Hawk only exist at NASA Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base in California. It's a brand new technology so their goal is to build the infrastructure to fly them out of Wallops Flight Facility in Wallops, Virginia, but unfortunately this type of technology can't just take off and land from anywhere they want. The other planes, the DC-8 and WB-57 are flying out of Ft. Lauderdale in Florida.
It's such a shame that so much money is spent wastefully on nonsense like war etc when we could be putting it to good use with scientists doing all sorts of interesting and beneficial studies, it's hard to believe in the year 2010 we still behave like we did 2000+ years ago. It's a sad indictment on mankind
@1ownjoo2 What more brutal than whats happening to the innocent Palestinians, having their land stolen off them and being murdered by a state that uses and sponsors terrorist acts around the world? And that is in this day and age, not 2000 yrs ago
You should look up the true history of the world, and not what schools told you.. Trust me when you read how the ancient world lived in its true way you will be thankfull you live in todays time.
@1ownjoo2 Yes i realize what it was like way back then, but for this day and age we are doing the same thing, only these days because of weaponry the damage is huge. Also when ppl fought in the old days it was face to face, also these days you get ppl doing false flag attacks, then you get ppl fighting the wrong ppl. Ask a innocent Palestinian what he thinks of the treatment they get,i'll bet you he'd say it's no different to the dark ages
Im not talking just about fighting, but people in general and they behaved... The vast majorty of people back then were horrible. You have crime and stuff today still but you dont see the entire male population raping little boys like the Spartans and Greek did.. Or the vast majority of the Romans being gay. You dont see brutal torture in prisons like they had in the middle ages.. Now they have TV and hot meals..
@1ownjoo2 Yes but that was 500 yrs ago, i'm talking about torture in this day and age. Anyway we probably shouldn't be talking about this type of thing here, i originally made the comment that i wish we'd spent alot of the war expenditure on scientific space exploration, i wasn't meaning for an in depth debate on these clips, it may be a bit depressing for some
You still have these things today, but honestly i would be afraid to even walk outside my house back then... Today you can do almost anything you want without really worrying about anything. Disease was horrible back then.
The only thing i agree mainly about the 2k year thing is the those area's where isreal now is.. They have been fighting there forever and i dont think it will ever end
@73mandala People who had their land stolen? You mean the Israelis? People who sponsor terrorism around the world? You mean radical islamists, like Iran, who Hamas and Hezbollah, or the PLO who along with the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka pretty much wrote the book on modern terrorism.
@73mandala ARPA are involved in Aerial Autonomous Technology that created the 'Global Hawk', DARPA (Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency). Because of the Cold War with Russia, agencies like DARPA where tasked with creating networks that would survive a nuclear war. Funding for War technologies brought about the Internet. DARPA is still creating Autonomous Technology that can survive after War, this is War funding, WAR & CREATION, PEACE & STAGNATION.
Great Work NASA i am now 14 years old.And i started to watch on Discovery channel or the national geographic about the Solar System 4 years ago that means that i were (10)years old. I was very interested about everything in space, more about the planets. And since then i learn alot because of your great work at NASA. And since then i don't know 3 things. 1: is it true that is life on Mars.
2: Is there anywere Alien life and do you know about it.
3:And if there is alien life why you ceep in secret?
i dont know why but the guy to the right reminds me of the guy from theatheistexperience

I really like the interview format - it makes the explanations a lot more alive than when they're just a monologue by the scientist.
