Actually people refuse to realize some of Voldy's beliefs may fit into our past here in the U.S. Here in the states there were groups such as the "blue veins" that were light skinned or mixed blacks that "passed" to fit into "high white society". Also, courts used to also count your family history to determine how 'white" you could "claim to "be" or "have".For instance if you were 1/4 black you could claim to be white by law. If you were only 1/4 white you could not. Same type of bloodline stuff
