Thanks I had been looking for a grass / hair tutorial like this 1. If the hair has grown I want to style it. should it be don the same way as grow way. Or can I do it some way with the comb in patricalmode???
Does anyone know how to track the light in 2.53? I can track it with a constraint, yet the light isn't following the blue line that is attached the origin of the plane.
I was having some problems with the shine effect, but it turned out that the text object and the text "stencil" and the obscuring plane were not aligned and scaled together on the z axis. With some snapping and a little creativeness I was able to fix things without having to redo everything thankfully. The end result was amazing! Thank you!
How can this video have only around 1000 views?! This is the epitome of how awesome blender can be and how talented you are to be able to use it to it's full potential! I applaud thee sir.
I think your tutorials are great, but most often the one thing I get mixed up on is the layers. I accidentally do one step wrong with the layers, and it goes all of track. Do you think that on the next tutorial, you could possibly show each step you made concerning the layers instead of just skipping over some of it because it was already done? That would be a great help.
NBE? Is this Transformers? :)

The boolean might work if you convert your text to a mesh

This is amazing! So creative.... The most creative thing I`ve ever done was an HD fluid with a shrinkwrap modifier.

What is that tab that you connect all the windows and boxes in???
I can't find it.
(the one that pops up when you click on composite.)
How2BPyro 1 year ago
@How2BPyro you can make thos tabs at your own by choosing add new.
NionsChannel 1 year ago
@How2BPyro It's called the "node editor window",
and you can find it by clicking the "3D view" button,
that will pull up a list of windows, just find the you want.
Good luck:)

Cool tutorial!
But you can also animate texture with an Empty, just select an Object (and write a name in the field) instead of Orco and simply animate an Empty.
oxiigen 1 year ago
not in this case. It doesn't work when textures are mapped to a particle attribute.
NionsChannel 1 year ago
Ha OK, thanks, I didn't know that it doesn't work with a particles.
