  • exactly

  • the best! I needed this

  • ahhhhh i love her!

    shes amazing as Fuck!

  • the first song i heard by this woman.. a few years back.

    changed my life.

  • Good voice and lyrics. But the music video can definitely be much better.

  • so wontcha help a brother out

    i love that

i think that she sings soo great and her words and they way they sond are just perfect!!!

    love her

    xx

  • i really like all of her songs n i love her voice, but i cant understand the metaphores of these lirycs, i dont get this song at all :S

  • it's pretty simple actually, the first verses is a conceit of seeing the world through her partner's mouth at the moment in which he is cheating: "I'm inside your mouth now

    Behind your tonsils

    Peeking over your molars

    You're talking to her now

    And you've eaten something minty

And you're making that face that I like

And you're going in, in for the kill, kill

For the killer kiss, kiss for the kiss, kiss"

  • Ooohh, thanks for the explanation!!~ I didn't get that part at first. But the point of her thinking of such a cool idea, hiding in ur cheating lovers mouth... Very poetic. And probably just a lil' slimy and smelly! xD

  • I love this song but the video is kinda silly. Black and white, out of focus, and handicam all scream "I just dropped out of film school."

  • It's that way because the intended effect is of bleakness and weakness....of regret and angst......and bitterness.

  • It's just annoying because for its mood, the song is so unconventional, and the video is so predictable and dull.

  • yeah the video is kinda bland. i can picture this video a million other ways that would compliment the song better.

i love her so so so so much.

  • it's such a haunting video and the song is really touching

    I love it.:)

  • Tells the story well. I tried to respond with a video, Ex-Husband In Freezer, but I could not figure it out!

  • alkdfj. fidelity is a hit. everyone knows it. seriously. look into her other songs. they get so much better than fidelity... SHE IS AMAZING, though. mmhm.

  • oooh i love that song!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

  • love it

  • wow i love her so much :D

  • This song is amazing

  • fidelity is the best!

  • yeah but this isn't fidelity

  • ugh, what a stupid thing to say.

OBVIOUSLY it isn't Fidelity, is it imperative that you let us know?

    fucking dumbass.

  • Why don't you relax.

I was replying to another comment.

    Take a deep breath...

  • I <3 u regina!!!! ur beautiful in evryway!!!!

  • This song really helped me out and it makes me cry every time I hear it. The lyrics are perfect and I felt somewhat the same way when my parents split. Trust me, Regina's songs can mend a broken heart, your a GODESS Regina, I love you.

  • i honestly like this song but i think samson is a lot better. anyway, you can feel the pain of having a "divorce" by listening to this song. i know "help a brother out" maybe sounds random for some but i believe it's an integral part of the song.

  • You all need to stop taking yourselves so seriously. The beauty of art and music is that it can be interpreted differently by everyone. Some will see more beauty than Tori Amos, some won't. Myself, I never saw much in Tori Amos. And I happen to really like Spektor; does that mean I'm going to call someone a jackass or say they don't have taste in music? No. Grow up, the lot of ya.

  • lordadriac, Tori amos is a musical genius and may have more artistically complex music and lyrics, however regina spektor is completely her own and her music & lyrics can be just as amazing

  • lordadric? apparently you have not taste in lyrics. open your ears jack ass

  • i love her

  • Her lyrics are genius and multi-meaningful. Anyone who says otherwise isn't as intelligent as they think they are. Listen to her, look up her lyrics, hopefully you'll understand.

  • You are absolutely correct

  • I love her she is the best...she has the best voice ever.

  • She really does have good lyrics.

Many just have a deeper meaning, but can be figured out.

    Much of it is humorous.

    I love her.

  • I like her, She has potential. Bet her lyrics arent for shit. I give her a few years to develope some writing tenique. She may be able to become a fraction of Kate Bush or Tori Amos. (a fraction)

  • bullshit. She's amazing dude. Her musical prowess is amazing. She could give me AIDS, and I'd still love this chick.

  • are you.... kidding.

  • She's a much better lyricist than either. Listen to Chemo Limo. Her understanding of metaphor and her ability to infer imagery with a single click of her tongue is nothing short of mind blowing.

  • I just love her =]

  • i need your money and your car, i need your love...

  • The video expresses emotion. It's kind of boring, I agree. But, it's a sad song, and it's got a sad cinematic approach. She's so cute =]

  • I love the song and the video!

maybe is too simple but I love it!

because Regina shows what she want to shows!

    is just amazingg! =D

  • love the song, hate the video.

  • Essa música é meiga,delicada,e o melhor eh q ela canta como em todas,com todo o sentimento,eu admiro muito,gostei :)

  • i need your money... luv that bit :)

  • regina is one wierd woman.

  • ...when going through a divorce, it is a good idea to carry a stethoscope and periodically check to make sure your heart is still beating...

That's what she says on the intro on Soviet Kitsch dvd for this song.

  • Definetely not one of my favorite songs by her, I just don't like the flow, great lyrics though. Regina ROCKS, I LOVE how she's not all so fake and stuff.

  • I love, love, LOVE Regina Spektor.

    She's wonderful...

Fo' sho', she's one of my favorite artists...

  • You either love her or hate her....I Love Regina

  • I love Regina but this isn't one of my favorite songs :-/

  • pop music!

  • There's so much personality in her voice it's crazy! By far one of my favorite artists.

  • I like how she's incorporating real singing skills rather than just her head voice.

  • She is so beautiful!

  • i'm a recently inducted Regina Spektor fan and I just have to say that her music touches me like nothing else. i listen to one kind of music; Broadway. I very rarely listen to pop music, but she is one of my exceptions. this girl is so amazing and i'm so happy that other people like her as much as i!

  • She's not POP!!

  • srry, i don't really listen to anything but broadway. what is her style called? I'm sorry for my stupidity. all i know is that she's an angel and her voice is beautiful!

  • Anti-folk.

  • yes yes beautiful angelic voice!

  • it's a blend of alternative, folk, and pop!

  • can now say I've heard an angel speak.

  • Yes an Angel, and try 'Kathryn Williams' for a UK melodic one too.

  • I Love Regina Spektor..., even I come from Hong Kong ..

  • yea, she's definitely my new favorite artist as well

  • i love regina, i love this song, but the video is kinda boring :p

  • I disagree. I'm sick of watching movies with my music. I'd rather just see the artist convey the feelings they put into the song.

I dig her facial expressions. So weird, yet familiar. :)

  • Yepp, I definitely agree. :)

  • I agree, kind of boring. Great song... Fidelity is her best video IMO.

  • I definitely see the Bjork similarity. She's like Bjork without the um.... bad parts. @_@

  • What do you mean "bad parts" of Bjork? Apparently you have no idea who Bjork is. Thanks for playing though.

  • I mean like the screaming or the boring? Bjork has more soul than Regina, but Regina is more refined.

  • more soul than regina? thanks for a nice hearty laugh!

  • heaven sent

  • Songs like Us and Samson actually bring tears to my eyes. I LOVE music of all kinds and have been listening for as long as I can remember and that has rarely ever happened, let alone with the same artist, repeatedly.

  • good song etc. -- bad cameraman!

  • WOW!

  • (sigh)...

  • ...i know.

  • this song is a a sad song. (sigh) makes me want to cuddle with tear.

  • being a struggling artist this song is sent from an angel . she has it... i dont know what it is but shes got it!

my new favorite artist cool thank you !

  • thanks for posting this she has a voice that melts into me, but compared to bjork? bjork`s voice will always send pretty rushes down my spine. now i have another favorite . can it really get better that this?

  • Crystals' comment is somewhat what I think, the lyrics are very similar...not so much the voice though. Regina has a delicate and beautiful voice! this is my favorite song to sing :) lol

  • She is definately something special!

  • I am mesmerised by this woman

  • love it

  • caramba...mt mt mt bom...diria a melhor de todas...

  • really great

  • amazing great music

  • Her voice is also similar to Bjork...and her lyrics too. I can slightly see the Fiona Apple resemblence. But Fiona will forever be my number one female vocalist. The end

  • The love child of Tori Amos & Thom Yorke (radiohead)

  • Oh my! In some scenes of this video she looks exactly like Fiona Apple! The lyrics also remind me very much of Fiona's lyrics. I love Fiona Apple and just recently discovered Regina Spektor. You might also wanna hear "Aching To Pupate" by her. Great song! She's timeless. But still I like Fiona Fiona more. She's the best!

  • OMG she is SO sexy and alluring! I just want to take her in my arms in a long passionant embrace. Pick her brain and tell her thank you. Thank you Regina, Thank you!

  • does anyone know where to get her lyrics, as far as i understand them, they seem pretty smart... :P

  • An Ode To Divorce, a seduction of separation & reparation, in preparation of broken parts of hearts going it all alone... There might be some good ones but this is the best of the best: clear as b&w her voice is in living loving color. So I'm going in for the killer kiss kiss, for a small dose of, REgina SPEKTor in her best video.

  • Wow, thewaymouth, that's the best review I've ever read in my life.

  • great video...n loovely song! she's so great

  • She's like a lighter, more focused Tori Amos, and her voice is just as full as Fiona Apple's--she looks like her too.

  • I love both Regina's and Fiona's voices so much! They are both so talented. It's very hard to compare them though because thier styles are so different. They both use thier vioces as instruments. I realy love this song!

  • one of the greatest singers i have ever heard

  • Another great video...shes so great!! ...'so won't you help a brother out?'

  • shades of Tori Amos with a hint of Kate Bush but very good

  • those types of classifications are pretty void.

  • yep, being reluctantly complementary actually....so sue me!

  • No more like associating a living being ambigiously with another, and with a pretension of understanding parallels in humanity...court date is set for November.

  • didn't know it was a crime to associate beings(living or dead)with each other....the connection between these artists is not at all ambigious - the parallels are clear & comparisons are bound to be made(more with Fiona than Tori)but a true artist will transcend all comparisons & influences anyway...the defence rests

  • Prosecution urges for a Mistrial, the jury has been tampered by cheapened aesthetic appreciation.

  • the prosecution is being unnecessarily hostile....we all love the song!

  • I can't help but laugh at this song just because I don't understand the lyrics and she sings them in such a cute way... but this song is pretty beautiful.

  • 'you've eaten something minty and you're making that face that i love...' haha legend

  • that was quite interesting...in a great way though. Love Regina, love the song, love the video.

  • great voice, very attractive gal

  • won't you help a brother out?

    dang that's hot!

  • whoa, there's a video for this?? awesome!

  • there might be some good ones.

  • "you might make a dollar", so sweet

  • brilliant video and song. ♥

  • love this song..

  • Very artistic video, i guess... great song though.
