  • Bideo polita benetan, Missy. Jarraitu horrela, gero eta maila hobeagoa edukiko duzu.

  • I just had lo love the way you enjoy the song. Did you actually learned it at school? It sounds like one of those songs one learns in kindergarden.

  • "in the future the discipline must demand from its students, as basic requirement, a detailed knowledge of the Basque language, which is the foundation of almost all advanced languages on earth"

  • @Sociolog26 It is not as difficult as Spanish or English, but I think it helps to have some Castellano background before learning it. The verbs and vocabulary are sometimes similar, especially words that have originated in the past century or so.

  • @missy8888 Actually, it's thought to be the most difficult language to learn.

  • @missy8888 And why is it that you say that it helps to know some "Spanish"/Castellano before learning Basque???

  • @Testacojones

Like I said before, The verbs and vocabulary are sometimes similar, especially words that have originated in the past century or so. Sandals in basque are "sandaliak" like "sandalias" in castellano. Words sometimes (not always) are similar in basque and castellano.

  • @missy8888 Like some other words are from Basque origin into Castellano, but I see your point. It can be helpful at some little things, but people here in youtube might get the wrong idea from your original comment. Great to find people such as yourself.

  • @missy8888 I just wanted to let you know that this russian guy "Sociolog" wrote something really bad in his language. I know it because I'am chechen myself.

    Great vid btw!

  • Ondo oso neska! Great idea!

  • Well done, segi aurrera!

  • Songs like this are very good to learn how to pronounce correctly

  • Basques are western iberians whole Europe was proto iberian while GEorgia is Caucasian Iberia Basques are relative to GEorgians

  • Cool! Are you just over there for fun? Or are you studying anthropology or something?

  • Just studying abroad. But the closest I've come to studying anthropology was one class freshman year. It was interesting!

  • @missy8888 Did you learn about human races too?

  • @missy8888 Are you basque?.

  • I only studied the language for a semester when I was abroad in the Basque Country.

I have no idea where you could get some resources if you don't live in Spain. I bought my Orphean book on culture there in Spain, and our professor provided us with photocopies of the language and grammar bits.

    eta, es horregatik!

  • Aupa/gora eta

  • hey! please don't you know a good website to learn basque very fast ??

i'd love to but i didn't find something interresting specially with the phonetic because it seems to be different! thx

  • Hi Missy

I tried learning some Basque a few years ago before a holiday. I found it quite hard but the people were very appreciative of the effort so it was worthwhile. Where are you based? Hope you enjoy yourself. I think the people and the culture over there are GREAT!

  • but why learn something so unrelated and weird.

i'm learning russian which is also difficult, but atleast from that i could also understand many more like ukranian or serbian

  • It is all about learning a culture. To immerse oneself, you learn the language and history.

  • yeah I agree, to many people thing just because they learn a language many people speak that it will be better

I think before u choose a language u should look up stuff u like in that language and then learn a language or just like u try a smaller country

Not think I must learn japanese, chinese, spanish, french, german, italien...

  • @HINRG14 There's also the small fact that Basque's more ancient than any of the other languages in Europe. It's completely unrelated to Spanish or Catalan...

  • ondo! dagoeneko lehen hogei zenbakiak badakizkizu :P. Great! lol

  • ay, yo se pizka bat euskara, pero no comprendo tu mensaje!

  • wow I live in the Basque Country and I didnt hear that song before xD It`s nice to know howmany people wants to learn euskera.

  • Pero ke importa ke ella sea extranjera? le gusta nuestra cultura.

  • aber, digo ke se me ace raro, porke es mas normal ke kieran aprender castellano ¬¬

  • xk???

  • @Sanbev I´m a foreigner too and would love to learn Basque, love its culture,it has so much to do with Celtic and Amazighs !

Eta, Nik euskaraz hitz egiten dut. (pizka bat)...o, pienso que es asi
