  • @sebastiancloud - Thanks for your response. I have been in email contact with Ken Leray & talking about the Snuggles music with him has been a wonderful experience. He mentioned Bruce Baxter & acknowledged his brilliant string arrangements, for example, in Woogie's Lullaby. Ken also said he would like to re-establish contact with Mr. Baxter, but I am not sure if he has... You should write to Ken. I am sure he would appreciate hearing from you!

  • who made this fucking vid

  • @invisiblepurpninja13 I MADE THIS VIDEO FOR YOBBOS LIKE YOU WHO SWEAR BECAUSE THEY DONT ENGAGE THEIR TRUE REASONING BEFORE IMPATIENTLY BLURTING OUT NEGATIVE REMARKS. THERE IS A LESSON TO BE LEARNED HERE OLD BEAN. " BEHIND EVERY CLOUD THERE IS A SILVER LINING " SLAINTE

  • DR SNuggles is about to get huggled

  • lsd

  • I'm slowly uploading all Dr. Snuggles episodes (english versions) to Dailymotion because there's no time limit there. Google "doctor snuggles dailymotion".

Hope you'll enjoy them all :)

  • I used to love this show back in the day I am sure it was on at a silly time early in the morning .

  • Hi Flaxoweasel, I am very happy to hear that your Finnish Friend ( Where Doctor Snuggles has a different name. Brazil and Finland were the only two countries who felt they ought to change the name) found the episode to give you a trip back to your childhood. Happy Days then and Happy dreams from me the creator JO'K

  • @sebastiancloud They probably changed it in Finland because Finnish children couldn't learn English so soon back then (different now with all internet and stuff). In Finland we call him "Tohtori Sykerö", and along other classic cartoons, Sykerö/Snuggles is a legend. Decided to watch some episodes since childhood.

  • i've been looking this episode for AGES. Wanted to see it so badly cause I remember I had some cartoon related to some cubes. Thanks to a finnish friend I found it! MY CHILDHOOD!

  • 9 dislikes?? What could you possibly dislike about this? I used to get up at 0600 to watch this with my kids..Loved it then, love it now.

  • I used to watch this as a kid. I had no idea Douglas Adams was a writer for the show. No wonder I loved reading his books as I got older. He infected my brain with the silly adventures of Doctor Snuggles!

  • @riversonthemoon I WAS VERY LUCKY TO HAVE DOUGLAS ADAMS AND HIS WRITING PARTNER JOHN LLOYD JOIN ME ON 3 EPISODES OF DR. SNUGGLES. WE WORKED SPLENDIDLY TOGETHER AND THEY DID BRILLIANT WORK AND I WISH THEY WERE AVAILABLE TO CONTINUE THE MAGIC. ALAS DOUGLAS HAS PASSED ON AND JOHN IS DOING HIS OWN THING IN TV. BUT THEIR IMPRINT ON THE GOOD DR.SNUGGLES WILL LAST FOR EVER.. ETERNAL THANKS GUYS JO'K

  • Doctor Snuggles eats a load of magic mushrooms, suddenly all the animals are talking to him and he has to find a scared river hiding in a cave....

  • The music @ 1:50 in Part 4 (when Snuggles goes to visit Woogie in the clouds for the usual guidance) is SO WONDERFUL it makes me want to cry. What is it? Does anyone know what this piece is @ who composed it?????

  • @sikhayar HI SIKHAYER. THE MUSIC WAS COMPOSED BY KEN LEROY WHO NOW LIVES IN THE USA WRITING COUNTRY WESTERN MUSIC. THE BRILLIANT ARRANEMENTS WERE MADE BY BRUCE BAXTER WHO I AM TRYING TO LOCATE. IF ANYONE OUT THERE KNOWS OF HIS WHEREABOUTS DO LET ME KNOW JO'K

  • I´m German and I loved Dr. Snuggles as a child! :-)

    The DVD brings childhood back...

  • @MrEhemaliger CHEERS OLD BEAN, AND GLAD YOU LIKED IT . WE HAVE MANY WONDERFUL GERMAN FANS AND IM GRATEFUL TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM FOR THEIR LOYAL SUPPORT HAPPY DAYS JEFFREY O'KELLY

  • ok im not crazy, this cartoon did exsist, its just as weird as i remember it

  • I got nightmares as a kid thanks to this cartoon series.

A living river hiding in a cave?

    Big holes in the sea?

Particularly scary was the big mushroom that turns everyone touching it into a butterfly.

  • @MoldyTomat0 river? pfft. its just a small stream. and its scared :(

  • I heard their was a soundtrack out with all the music from the Doctor Snuggles cartoon on it if anyone can post it that would be the best thing since strawberries!

  • I only got one thing to say about this. COCAINE IS A HELL OF A DRUG!

  • Was this written by THE Douglas Adams?

  • What a mad cunt

  • i wish someone would post the soundtrack to this great cartoon :p

  • @AudioAndroid The soundtrack is Boss! Like the show, it's totally psychedelic .

It has a late 60's feel. Especially 'Here Comes The Mouse' and 'The Building Song'.

  • Haven't seen this in probably around 18 years. I clearly remember being fascinated by the show, the music and the crazy story lines. However, I could not remember the name of the show and, it wasn't until this morning that I stumbled across the title in a list of old 80s cartoons. It was like Christmas morning as a child when I heard that great title tune again. Thank you for helping create such a wonderful show, which I would credit with helping inspire my imagination and creativity as a child.

  • wow classic

  • Douglas Adams !!!! :O

  • @sideburnz711 Oh my God, you're right! :O :D

  • There is WAY too much win in this link

  • Takes me back to a simpler time, when old men on pogo sticks hopped into a wooden rocket with animal friends. Them were the days.

  • today i met jeffrey o'kelly the creator... woah i thought he was mad... he likes my dog

  • It's sad to see that traditional european cartoons have all but died these days... Snuggles, Alfred J. Kwak... All the kids of today get is some animu bullshit.

  • Lol, i used to watch this and thought i was the only one that remembered it. This guy invented loads of stuff. My cousin used to come round and turn it over to watch Heman. Great stuff.

  • This was my favorite show when I was 4 years old!

  • I would buy the soundtrack for this show. Has anyone ever seen it? Is it downloadable?

  • WHEN THEY OPEN UP THIS BOOK, THEY'RE SUCKED INSIDE INSTEAD

  • Whoever wrote this script ate one too many 'Magic Mushrooms'

  • @DrUmtombo I agree..lol

  • I love this cartoon but im looking for help, im looking for the music that was used in the cartoon Simon and the Land of Chalkdrawings not the theme song but the music that plays in the cartoon its beautiful.

  • used to watch this on the Childrens Channel back in the mid 80's.

Dr. Snuggles, DJ Cat Show, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Transformers, Mask, Voltron, Jem, Carebears and many many more made the saturday and sunday mornings absolutely fantastic!!!!

  • Douglas Adams?! Wow

  • Was watching this with Cadence tonight...creatures from a watery planet are taking water from Earth because they saw we were treating it like garbage, and thought we didn't really want it. (sorry that just gave the story away). From 1979, love those dutch :)

  • I didn't know Douglas Adams wrote episodes of Doctor Snuggles!! Cool!

  • I wish MY brain was made of LSD and I could have adventures like this where I get thanked by talking fish. All I ever have is the sort of adventures where you wind up on probation.

  • this cartoon used to scare the hell out of me when i was a kid,it still is weird with its tripy music in the backround
