The male and female usually stand back to back while tied (giving them the chance to defend themselves) I've never seen tied dogs/wolves fight like this before. It's really disturbing.

Poor things i have wolfs like that i think i have about 20 or more but i keep them in a cage or what ever or in my house only when there first born or hurt hungry or anything one of them died :( few weeks ago and i have not been happy ever since.
