There is always a chance of slight scarring.

Using too much paste can cause the area to remain red longer than it would normally. It will still revert back to normal colour though.

Best used on raised moles but many people use it on flat moles.

It is impossible to forsee. Most people are left with a slight blemish. This is smooth with the normal skin, but a very, very slightly lighter colour. - Hardly noticeable.
