Paul is such a free spirit on the stage, Always looks much happier and alive! He was born to do this till his very last day. Oh But please live forever Paul, The music world would crumble if you leave us! Forever Live The Beatles!
God I wish I could have been there...how cool is this..the Ed Sullivan Theater and Paul in a pink shirt singing his heart out...aaahhh..thanks for uploading
In making of the "Let it Be" film; Paul was trying to setup a massive venue for a live Beatles performance. They talked about performing at different locations, but you could tell they (John & George) weren't to receptive of any ideas. They made it easy for them by setting up a stage on the building's roof top and that was last time the Beatles performed live.
Sing the changes, nice song I listen it in Up and Coming tour, and Get Back too, and Paul looks so young, you can't think how old is he?He is forever young and cute...
like .. what do you tell yourself when you wake up in the morning, drive to your job as Paul McCartney's GUITARIST, play on the marquee of the former location of the Ed Sullivan show where the Beatles ROCKED, and play GEORGE HARRISON'S GUITAR SOLO IN GET BACK?
why do the guys from the band always have to spoil the song (sing the changes)?? they should listen to the album version of the song and sing it properly. they make it sound f*cking stupid
@bashfulbrother still, it doesn't sound good.. a great deal of the song's energy lies in the "ooh-oooh" parts and they got it wrong and killed the song. now it sounds like a parody :(
@jablkovastrudla Yeah, I can see what you are saying. I wasn't addressing the quality, it is just that McCartney is so anal about his music he probably wanted them doing it.
- that's Sir Paul McCartney right there, a true music legend that can still perform as of today.
-performing using his baby, Hofner Violin Bass.
-performing on the rooftop that makes me remember The Beatles famous rooftop concert in which they also perform 'Get Back' on the same scene but not on the same building. :D
saw Paul at Cincinnati this past July and I actually underestimated the guy . He rocked for 3 hours , played lead guitar ( on a fabulous 50's Les Paul Standard) , uke, bass guitar , piano , sang like 23 yrold Paul , and generally blew every concert I have evr seen away .And I have seen many . This guy is a true genius and a brilliant performer to this day
I can't even with those teenagers just standing there not really realizing who they are watching. If I was there I would of been fist pumping to no end, without a doubt. Got to love Paul.
I wonder how many times Paul has played on the roof. This is the second one I have seen. The last time the Beatles performed together in public was on the roof of Apple Studios.
I'm originally from twickenham middlesex london england grew up there in the sixties, the beatles where a good part of my memories, buying there 45 rpm Record's good old days,Im a singer songwriter musician I started a beatles tribute band back in 1975 called the Hornet's,I just wrote and recorded a tribute song for John lennon and the Beatles Called.Everlasting Memory.Check it out on my Channel.
The hairs on the back of my neck are standing up. Watching one of the Beatles recreate that amazing moment on the rooftop in London is like watching something biblical.
Good old Paul... All conspiracy theories are bullshit. How da hell could they find guy who looks like him, talks like him, acts like him, and sings like him... C'mon!
Is it just me, or does Paul seem more animated during the second song? Perfectly understandable though, people have made him play "Get back" over and over for 40 years now.
@Drewsnewtube don't be. the beatles are timeless. spans the gap of all age groups. I'm 29, and my kids will be brought up with the beatles. plenty of footage to relive the 60s.
@Drewsnewtube DREW - Sweetheart (I’m old enough to be your Dad) don't be Sad, be happy that you were alive at the same time as the most influential musician ever. Richard, Liverpool, UK
@TimothyQStanton : Very true. Paul is the most prolific singer songwriter of the 20th century. Those of us who grew up with him beginning in the early 60`s have had the pleasure of following his incredible career. I can1t even think of a bad song he has done. How a person can write so many great songs for so long is beyond me. I have seen him twice and both times I was in total awe....
One of my ex girlfriends got to go see and meet the Beatles in the 65-66 days. Paulie asked her if she wanted to go to "a potty" and she was embarassed and said 'no'. Later on she discovered that he wanted her to go "to a party" and so she missed out.
I've been fortunate to see McCartney twice and he is still on the top of his game.Lots of energy.Never slowed down.Great musician, entertainer and performer. And,for those who still bring up the "Paul is dead and thats his double"-Get a life. He's alive and well as you can plainly see.Happy early 69th birthday to Sir Paul.(His birthday is this Saturday)
My spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada said that the Beatles had been in India and had been very charitable in their past lives and that they were already talented musicians, so in this life, they got a lot of good karma back by receiving the return of their charity many times over. George was the one that took most advantage though of his good karma to become the most spiritual of all the Bealtes and introduce millions to the liberating sounds of the Hare Krsna mantra
I wonder how Paul must feel performing without the Beatles! it just makes me so sad and nostalgic, he seems almost incomplete without John,George and Ringo, like an image of his old self... but still he is amazing!

@MetteXmoebjerg There was so much screaming the Beatles couldn't hear themselves think and you would have went deaf! kind of sad actually to see this... if i was him, i wouldn't have been able to do it. almost feels like a mockery or a shameful exploitation of a personal moment between brothers... alone.
Never heard this song before... GOOD!!! Different from his other songs.. modern sounding... as it rings in the head gets better. Nice to know he still got it. Live songs with good headphones are great.
@southsidesman Wow, you've never heard Get Back?! The song was a massive Beatles hit 42 years ago, in 1969. In Britain, it was the only Beatles single to enter the charts at #1, an extremely rare event in the sixties, and spent six weeks at #1. In the US, it was the very first single to enter the top ten in the first week of release and spent five weeks at #1. Worldwide sales are over seven million.
@GrahamLondonUK Lol. Funny how things are, glad you got irritated - I was speaking of the second song of this video "Sing the Changes" but your info on Get back is amazing, I didn't know it was so heralded. I was just looking to rock out on it.
Boy, as I play this Changes it definitly is seems like one of his best, born after 64.
Paul is the greatest. This roof top Get Back from Let it Be is one of the finest i ever seen. thanks Paul for beeing back to The Beatles for this moment.
he sounds the same over how long and the people thesse days dont sound nothing like the recorded one live -- they sound crap -- they are crap, they should just shut up.
he still got it!(: i saw in an interview he did back in 1964 and he was talking about what he'll being doing in the year 2010 (ironic right? i watched the video back in november so it was still 2010) and he said he'd retire. well he certainly was wrong! he's now 68 and still rocking out! Paul just blows me away(: he never ceases to amaze me(: luv ya paulie<3333
what I love about this is that I bet this was the first time in decades that Paul EVER played GET BACK on top of a building of some sort. No wonder he got so freakn excited!! kick assssss!!!!!!! LOVE IT!
I know Paul is 68 and as you get older your singing voice begins to go away but Paul's voice isn't that great even when he was young except on a couple of songs like Yesterday and Let It Be. John and George had better voices.
@MJJFan01 Not true. Paul has a great singing voice. Listen to Eleanor Rigby. Amazing voice. Plus, getting older doesn't instantly mean your voice starts to eb away. Listen to Halford from Judas Priest, the album Nostradamus, song Death. He's 70 there and has an amazing voice.
the today show ( NBC ) HAS NEVER HAD A TURN OUT OF PEOPLE TO WATCH A PERFORMER SING LIKE THAT.. WAY TO GO DAVE... YOU SHOWED THEM THANK'S TO HAVING PAUL MCCARTNEY... WAS THERE EVER A COUNT ?
Look how the Beatles touched the world back in the 1960's and how Paul McCartney continues to blow them away today. He is, and will always be, one of the best song writers and performers of all time. Thanks CBS and David Letterman for sharing Paul moment with us.
@rollo131 you're not alone. I've been doing the same thing umm but almost everyday for a couple of months now :-P started with the Beatles, ..... then it goes on & on....

PREDICTION FOR YOUR RESPONSE: If twelve: won't understand what "banana creampie" or "PMS" is, and/or no reply is emitted.
If PMS-ing: Rage ensues; denies menstruation; name calling; many lulz are had by me and other men.

kind of sad actually to see this... if i was him, i wouldn't have been able to do it. almost feels like a mockery or a shameful exploitation of a personal moment between brothers...

Boy, as I play this Changes it definitly is seems like one of his best, born after 64.

he still got it!(: i saw in an interview he did back in 1964 and he was talking about what he'll being doing in the year 2010 (ironic right? i watched the video back in november so it was still 2010) and he said he'd retire. well he certainly was wrong! he's now 68 and still rocking out! Paul just blows me away(: he never ceases to amaze me(: luv ya paulie<3333

I know Paul is 68 and as you get older your singing voice begins to go away but Paul's voice isn't that great even when he was young except on a couple of songs like Yesterday and Let It Be. John and George had better voices.
MJJFan01 1 year ago
@MJJFan01 I thought Paul and John had the best voices.

@MJJFan01
his voice hasn't aged a bit though, props for that
axeman182 1 year ago
@MJJFan01 Not true. Paul has a great singing voice. Listen to Eleanor Rigby. Amazing voice. Plus, getting older doesn't instantly mean your voice starts to eb away. Listen to Halford from Judas Priest, the album Nostradamus, song Death. He's 70 there and has an amazing voice.

Look how the Beatles touched the world back in the 1960's and how Paul McCartney continues to blow them away today. He is, and will always be, one of the best song writers and performers of all time. Thanks CBS and David Letterman for sharing Paul moment with us.
