any science that is in it can allready be found in greek books that predate the qu'ran. some things are even taken from the bible.
if they are into science so much why do they use 7th century books to educate their females. they won't even accept basic scientific proof and proven evolution theories.
Unfortunately Muslims are so ignorant it really is like dealing with a screaming child who insists that 2 + 2 does not equal 4. It's called 'learning difficulties' and the Muslims have this syndrome in spades. This is why they are unable to contribute to the modern world but spend their entire time being offended and wanting to behead everyone. It's pathetic.
@ritchloui This video highlights quite possibly my #1 pet peeve -- a bunch of primitive and irrational oafs trying to argue toe to toe with intellectuals of the 21st century by appealing to pseudo-science found in a 1400 year old book. It's a disgrace to science, an insult to the intelligence of modern day scientists and an affront to humanity to try to argue the scientific merits of islam. That's exactly the muslim complex though, sell yourself larger than you could ever hope to be.
This is exactly what I said in my video. Why do Muslims wait till some western scientists discover something and then claim this was described in the Quran.
Which proof do you have that the earth expansion explained from Neal Adams is the same as the one in the Quran.
And more, Neal Adams is talking about the continents, and the Quran about the planet earth!
@bastastop2010 1st expanding earth theory talks about the growing of the earth planet in size , not the extention of continents , continents became smaller after earth expanded . quran is always the first to announce these theories about creation . 'extended' & 'spread out' in quran has always been misinterpretted by the idea of flattening but now after neal adams illustrated it by a simple video , the verses of quran have gained their devine real meaning . this theory is desputed since darwin
@bastastop2010 read the description of my video about flat earth in which u will read about the verb TO BALL which is used in quran , this means the earth is not flat in quran . when god talks about the spread earth due to gravity he said : "it is he who made the earth AS a carpet FOR YOU " this verse means earth is not a carpet but he just made it AS a carpet for us . all the other verses talk about the extention of the earth . but anti islam activists use it against quran saying it means flat
@lahoucine66 It's bad enough that you lie to other people, but lying to yourself is quite a serious mental disorder. The earth was not only known to be a sphere 1,000 years before Mohammed, its circumference had also been fairly accurately estimated. Nevertheless, Mohammed didn't know this and he did not refer to it as a ball. He thought the earth was a flat circular carpet, held fast by mountains (as pegs) and covered by a dome. He was wrong, like in just about everything except mind control.
@ritchloui : This is on the one hand. You were telling me about the scientists who, according to ur own words, have created modern sciences and technology. Too easy too to interpret things this way man!:) Let me stress that without Allah's will, none single discovery would have been made by anyone including the best scientist that had ever existed! For instance, Allah inspired Einstein (PBUH) for discovering his famous law E=MC2, Allah inspired Von Newmann (PBUH) for discovering the computer,etc
@itheri0675 'Without Allah's will" - more superstitious nonsense. Your imaginary friend does not exist and if he did he is a vile psychopathic, vengeful, capricious moron who does not deserve respect let alone worship. You Allah is the invention of a mentally deranged child molesting bandit slaver who realised that, like so many dangerous cult leaders, if he made out he had a special relationship to an imaginary superpower, he could get people to obey him and kill them if they didn't. Grow up.
@ritchloui : According to my Education, and tell me if I am wrong, a fair debate must obey to some rules of respect between speakers. But you bellow, you attacked the prophet of Islam Mohamed (JHSHHSH) using some "strong" adjectives of him which are utterly nonsense! Did you realize that you might hurt my feelings and that I might respond in a non-friendly manner? But I will not do that, for one main teaching of Mohamed (JHSHHSH) is to keep polite and quiet even with the most brutal man.
@lahoucine66 Yeah. I checked out the vid you suggested. Really interesting and favourited. However, it's rather clutching at straws to claim that the Koran with its vague statements was correct. The words used in the translation have often changed in light of new scientific theories or to suit a particular audience. I know that we all use the lens of our existing worldview, how could it be otherwise, so for you, you need to refer to the Koran.
@lahoucine66 Well, I've just done a search on the 'expanding earth theory' and guess what. Not only has it been debunked but, surprise surprise, it was first proposed by Aristotle. Yes, another Ancient Greek thinker who lived 1,000 before Mohammed and who seems to have influenced, but not accredited, Mohammed. Sorry mate. Another Muslim FAIL.
@lahoucine66 I assume you are aware that Neal Adams is a cartoonist by trade. Really, if you want to be taken seriously you are going to have to come up with rather better sources than fantasists who put together slick cartoons and think that they have shown that the entire scientific world is basically a conspiracy. Disappointing. But hey, you think the Koran has scientific credentials so you are really willing to believe anything.
@ritchloui u have 2 know that this hypothesis is ancient . Neal Adams is just advocating it (read about growing earth on wikipedia) a lot of other scientists advocate it because they don't believe in pangea . what imports more is that the quran is the only book which guides 2 pure monotheism , 2 the worship of god of moses , that's what god will ask u about , not science . the scientific & linguistic miracles in the quran , are just 2 show people that this book is not human made
@lahoucine66 Of course the Koran is man made. It was derided at the time by scientists and thinkers. The Koran is full of errors, contradictions, contains no useful information and provides no worthwhile explanations. Another Muslim FAIL.
@bastastop2010 i have watched some of your videos after i wrote this comment and it seems to me that you are the narrator, i didn't mean anything with this comment, i'm just saying that your accent is a bit strange to my ear and sounded a bit funny. i am not downing the content or the presentation and certainly not you. great work.
"Your Words among others: "Even animals love their families" Impertinant!"
You said that you were not racist because you loved your family!! I said loving one's own family is not a proof of anything because it is an instinct that is found even in animals. Where is the impertinence?
"All in all you were not debating with me objectively but you seemed attacking me."
I didn't come here to attack you. I debated you objectively before discovering your racism and even after discovering it. You on the other hand have not apologized for your racism.
"Ignoring you is/was the interim solution at the moment and I will continue doing it if you don't control your words and temperament."
Thanks for saving my time, but don't claim that you video has not been refuted.
@Ahmad1Salam : Please try to use a bit logic, and don't make Allah say what he didn't say. He said :
1- If you don't BEAR fasting or u are sick or on travel, then ....
2- HOWEVER, it would be BETTER that you FAST if you were AWARE
Obviously, Allah did not refer at all to the people living in regions of the world with such striking discrepancies between daytime and night time to such an extent that the ratio between the two times (day/night) can be 0, infinity or any value in between.
The last comments were not addressed to me but I allow myself to write you as you said" she did not come back with anything ". I just stopped debating with you because:
1- You insulted me many times and instead of presenting excuses you said those were not insults
2- You used humiliation tactics (What did you achieve in your life…, u know nothing…).
3 Your accusations ( racist etc…) are assumptions that lead to a bad cooperation.
Do you believe that racists are scumbags? My "excuse" for that word is that you were/are a racist.
"2- You used humiliation tactics (What did you achieve in your life…, u know nothing…)."
That is because you said that Muslims did not contribute to contemporary science which is not only false but also ironic since you are in no position to judge others on their scientific merits because you did not achieve anything in science or philosophy or arts etc...
"3 Your accusations ( racist etc…) are assumptions that lead to a bad cooperation."
They are not assumptions but hard facts and you know it. Your channel is full of racists and racist comments by you and others. You also post racist comments on other videos or channels. Don't even try to deny it.
The stupid person here is none other than your ignorant and arrogant self. You have no right to name-call others just because they disagree with on this widely debunked video.
@Ahmad1Salam : (continued) The Allah of Mohamed clearly didn't know that there exists regions on Earth with such a striking change in daytime and night time during the year. If you are a logical person, then you can follow me in what I will say to you now. Suppose that you were a moslim leaving in Helsinki for instance and you are in a period of a year where Sunset is (say) at 12:00 am, and Sunrise is at 12:05am, this means that if u apply the Allah's words, then u must fast during 23h&55 mins!!
@Ahmad1Salam (I am finishing) : This is not funny of course, the more funny is the opposite (Sunrise at 12:00am and Sunset 12:05am) !!!! LOL This is worthy of a game but not practise of belief !! LOL
I like this vid, the comments are polite, real debate on issues, instead of the name calling we see in so many other vids. Keep up the good work itheri and sarah. If only all the vids about religion can be ebated in such a manner.
cont3 if do not want to follow a religion fine no probs .. but don,tshow ur science has brought forward ..and religion has put backward ..ur science has harm and put the earth in danger on which we live .100yrs back we were much safer than now .. .
@bastastop2010 What prevents Muslim countries to be independent? They have money and Allah on their side????? u do not no p of world politics .. anyone u tries to b independent or disobey neocon policy is killed ..remember saudi king was killed ..or saddam now iran with sanctions aghan and paki fighting taliban created by who ????
@bastastop2010 and yes religion is important for spriual need of human and coming to ur video on science and quran . i seen ur orbit controversy and abour darwin law (no theory) i feel laughing but.since u r not intrested in religion so prefer not waste time. and in quran it states that god have shown SIGNS .. its not a SCIENCE book .. u can not make discoveries by reading it but may find it appreciates establish facts
cont 2 nuke or nature is going to kill this earth .. courtesy science . now coming to ur muslim discoveries it was made when europe was in dark ages . till 13th century ... after that bristish empire and now america has made every small country their slave .give me name of muslim country that can function indepentdent of america . whole world is under the thumb of zionist ..or the neocorn policy maker .find out what happened to those who caused finacial desastor .u will b shocked ..cont3
for first part ur philosphy regarding religion creates hatered ..and cause fight .. it shows u lack of insinght .. sex and aggression is basic instinct. if there is no religion will it make better plACE TO LIVE ???? TOTALLY BULLSHIT . i will easier for u .. country which has most discoveries and advance in sceince is the most destructive killed in 50yrs and left whole history back. r u sceince taking forward or 10 steps backward THINK if u have functional brain..cont
I am neither demoting the religions nor promoting science. I am just comparing the both in the introduction to come to the main topic which is "the Quran a scientific book or not".
By comparing I am using a factual definition of both.
By showing the atomic bomb in my video should be enough to understand that I am not
bringing science forward.
Which ear did you use to listen to my video?
But nice to see u defending all religions at the same time
@bastastop2010 azul ai uma yea i agree on that embryo shit it is funny u hear muzzies still argue that the coranic model of embryonic development agrees with modern embryology. lolll . however the verse about the universe expanding was copied from chaldean astrological lore although it may mean somethong different than the expanfing universe theory of modern physics. keep up the good work br'
Here is another despicable racist. Hecalls us "muzzies". I have proved below the conformity of the Quranic model of embryonic development with modern embryology. Regarding verse 51:47 which talks about the expanding universe, it was not taken from Chaldean lore because it was only one among many other different lores. The vast majority of people during the time of the Quran, especially in Arabia, did not believe the universe to be expanding.
1. I just want first to refute your "example" which you falsely think contradicts science. The word "Sama" has only one meaning, which is everything above earth. Everything above earth is called Sama. And Sama is indeed beautiful and complex. Where is the fault in that? You say where are the orbits and the paths? Well it seems you did not read the hundreds of verses that talk about the orbits and paths of the celestial bodies such as the sun and moon. You did not do your homework here it seems.
You aren't refuting but confirming my statement. Did you really understand the topic? I am not criticizing the Quran as a (holy) book but as a scientific one.
I started my homework with at 6 years old and I know that the Quran mentions other objects in the Samaa too as the 11 planets in Surat Yusif.
the Samaa, indeed has only one meaning, which is everything above earth as said in my video but nowadays many Muslims are giving this one word different meanings and not me.
You aren't refuting but confirming my statement. Did you really understand the topic? I am not criticizing the Quran as a (holy) book but as a scientific one."
Actually it is you who did not mount any meaningful objection to the Quran. In your video you said where are the orbits and paths, and I told you that there are many references to the orbits and paths of celestial bodies in the Quran (Not just in sura Youssef). So again what is your objection exactly?
When we are 6 years old we are barely aware of our surrounding communities, yet you were engaging in metaphysical and religious thinking!! Why are you lying again?
"the Samaa, indeed has only one meaning, which is everything above earth as said in my video but nowadays many Muslims are giving this one word different meanings and not me."
Actually it is you in the video who said that Sama has several meanings in the Quran. Anyway we both agree that it has only one meaning which is everything above earth.
well the koran says that the comets are rockets launched by allah against the devils lolllllllll some science!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well there may be few verses which agree with modern science but the author of these verses is not allah . muhammad nicked them from earlier egyptian, babylonian , jewish and greek sources....
Embryology in the Quran does not contradict modern science, and it was not taken from the Greeks. Actually the ancient commentators said that embryology as described in the Quran contradicted the standard knowledge at that time.
Conclusion: The Quran is compatible with modern science.
As for comets, it is not wrong to say that they hit spiritual things. If the Quran is right on all other accounts then it is reasonable to believe it on this account too.
Quran Embryology is very crude and basic, very much describe only the observable stages, people found from study what they saw based on animals and women who miscarriage. It's dead wrong about its stages and incompatible with science. And just because someone twist translations to suit them to peruse their own agenda, it does not make it true, or worth to be hold in the same regard.
Why are you asking me to have some decency? I have always been decent here? Who are you anyway?
Quranic embryology is not basic at all and does not contradict science. Moreover it contradicted the faulty Greek embryology which was rampant at the time. I wrote like 20 comments explaining this here. Read them if you can.
Decency as "minimum of common decency" not to spread outright lies, about absolutely unsupported claims, based of defective reasoning and defective definitions.
The embryology concept in Koran has been around 1000 years before Mhd. was born. And it was erroneous. But be-coz you can't be bothered to read about it, which is obvious by the way you mindlessly stick to your "faith", I won't make it a task to educate you. I will keep you around for a laughs, but don't disappoint me.
I did not spread any lies. You just did not read my Arabic posts because you do not understand Arabic.
In my Arabic posts I explained how the medieval commentators said that embryology in the Quran contradicted Greek embryology, and how Quranic embryology conforms with modern embryology.
Your arrogance and ignorance are typical of many Christians like you.
2. There is no such thing as "conventional logic" vs. "religious logic". That is an atheist invention. Science is subject to experience, while religion is subject to logic and philosophy. Religion can be confirmed or disconfirmed using the principles of logic. That is how we evaluate the claims of religion and that is how we determine which religion is the true one. It is all based on logic. But it seems you did not study philosophy in university and that is why your video was so shallow.
2. There is no such thing as "conventional logic" vs. "religious logic".
A logic is a system of reasoning. Arguable enough to see many religions have their own logic that are not conform to each other.
Rational conventional logic shows proof.
Show me Allah or Buddha! If you want to recite me your convictions you already failed as this is not called conventional logic but your beliefs' logic.
"A logic is a system of reasoning. Arguable enough to see many religions have their own logic that are not conform to each other.
Rational conventional logic shows proof."
You just do not know logic. Logic is the same everywhere with the same laws. What happens is that people misuse or misunderstand the laws of logic and that is why people have many disagreements not just in religion but also in politics, philosophy, science etc...
So there is no Islamic logic or atheist logic or Christian logic or Hindu logic etc... There is only one logic and only one of these groups got it right.
By the way, there are many disagreements among the atheists themselves regarding the nature of the universe and morality etc... You seem to be unaware of this.
"Show me Allah or Buddha! If you want to recite me your convictions you already failed as this is not called conventional logic but your beliefs' logic."
Here is one evidence for the existence of God:
3. The Quran is not a scientific book. It just does not contradict science.
4. Muslims have contributed to science for hundreds of years. Many inventions and discoveries in science, arts and philosophy trace their origins to medieval Muslims. Today we are not as productive as before, but that has to do rather with politics (Colonialism etc.) and economy. Still you will find many Muslim philosophers and scientists in all top universities in the world. But what have you accomplished in your life?
"And I can give you many other examples. Don't ask me, wait for further videos."
Don't bother because it is obvious that you misunderstand the Quran and your scientific knowedge seems to be poor. If you have a question about the Quran then you should ask a knowledgeable Muslim that you trust. If I have a question about atheism I go and ask atheists not their intellectual foes.
3. The Quran is not a scientific book. It just does not contradict science.
Please, stop embarrassing yourself. That's like saying you know the exact speed of Santa's Sled based on Speed is distance over time principle. Given Santa is a false information to start with.
Quran had 1400 years to make scientific claims, yet it never did any till the 60s. Why? Because the moment man stood on the moon, it undermined the entire doctrine and trigger such pseudo science as yours.
Your analogy with Santa and speed is unintelligible.
The Quran made claims as early as the 10th century when the Muslim commentators rejected Greek embryology because it conflicted with the Quran. science has vindicated the Quran.
And what does the moon landing have to do with the Quran?
5. You are deliberately lying when you say that in Muslim countries they only teach the Quran. I lived in several Middle Eastern countries and they teach all the sciences such as physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, geography, history, Arabic, English, arts and the rest of the conventional subjects.
4- " Muslims have contributed to science for hundreds of years." I am talking about modern science.
Many modern discoveries do not trace their origins to medieval Muslims. There were older civilisations from whom the Muslims took the knowledge too. Egyptians were master in geometry and Architecture, the Greek, the Persian, the Indian etc….
Why do you ignore them?
5-"You are deliberately lying when you say that in Muslim countries they only teach the Quran."
Many modern discoveries do not trace their origins to medieval Muslims. There were older civilisations from whom the Muslims took the knowledge too. Egyptians were master in geometry and Architecture, the Greek, the Persian, the Indian etc….
Why do you ignore them?"
You are wrong. Many Muslim discoveries do trace their origins to Medieval Muslims. Check the entry for Muslim scientists on Wiki.
I am not ignoring the ancient Egyptian or Greek civilizations etc... I do acknowledge the influence they had on medieval Muslims. However Muslims modiefied and added many inventions and discoveries in all human sciences before passing them on to modern Europe. That is how all civilizations function. They all use the previous knowledge available to them and then expand them. No civilization is born in a vacuum.
You also ignore that nowadays many Muslim philosophers and scientists work in all the top universities of the world. We are just less productive than before for reasons that have to do with politics, economy and colonialsim, not religion.
And once again, what the hell did you accomplish in your life to judge others on their philosophical/scientific/ artistic achievements? A search for bastastop2010 turns nothing in academic journals. People with house glasses should not throw stones at others.
"I said in many."
That's another lie. All Muslim communities teach all the branches of science, mathematics, foreign languages, arts (Such as drawing), geography and history etc...
6. Now you talk about all the religious wars and sectarian strife like what happened in Cairo. But you ignore that atheists during the 20th century committed far more crimes than Muslims throughout their entire history. Secondly you ignore that the perpetrators of the explosion of Alexandria were discovered to be State's security, not conventional Muslims.
6- Since history started getting recorded the human being and war were tight together, it doesn't matter what was the reason. If Atheists killed people they did not do it for a religion.
Muslim conquests that are called Futuhat instead of Ghazawat are the best example of it.
Even the crusades came later. The current religion wars are mostly caused by Muslims.
I was living middle in this kind of wars and I am not interested on debating this, as Egypt was just an actual example.
"Since history started getting recorded the human being and war were tight together, it doesn't matter what was the reason."
So why did you bring it up then?
"If Atheists killed people they did not do it for a religion."
I won't call you a liar on this one, just ignorant. In the 20th century atheists killed hundreds of millions of people because of Marxism which is a radical atheist ideology. That does not mean that atheism is wrong because of this.
It only means that some atheists were just murderers. Same goes for Muslims for instance. If a Muslim kills someone then it is because he is a criminal, not because the Quran incites him to kill people, because the Quran does not. It is a very peaceful book.
"Muslim conquests that are called Futuhat instead of Ghazawat are the best example of it."
Recent historical and archaeological excavations show that these Futuhat (Which is another name for Ghazawat) in the 7th century are a myth. They never actaully took place.
But let's assume for the sake of argument that they did in fact take place. Do they prove that religion was responsible for them? No. Futuhat were the norm in those days.
Read about the likes of Ramesses II and Thutmose III in ancient Egypt, or Alexander and the Spartans in ancient Greece, or Cryus, Xerxes and Darius in ancient Persia. And of course the Romans who conquered half of the ancient world. The Arabs were not the exception. They followed the rules of the day.
Roman Christians forced Christianity on Europe, the Middle East and North Africa before the mythological 7th century conquests. Byzantine Christians were warring with the ancient Persians. After the revelation of the Quran Christians invaded the Americas and wiped almost the entire Indian communities from the face of the earth. And of course they forced Christanity on them. And of course not to mention the colonialisms of the 18th century onwards.
"The current religion wars are mostly caused by Muslims."
Nonsense. Who started World War I and II? Who started the Cold War? Who started the Wars in Vietnam? Who started the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq? Who is constantly stalking and antagonizing Iran? It is not Muslims but radical Christians in the US.
And do not talk to me about 9/11 because every person with a critical mind knows that it was an inside job.
Not to mention of course all the testimonies by former heads of states, engineers, pilots, government officals etc... that confirm this. 9/11 was a CIA/Mossad operation to incriminate the Arabs.
"I was living middle in this kind of wars and I am not interested on debating this,"
I come from the Middle East too and it seems that I know much more than you on this region of the world.
If you mean the bombing of the church then it seems you were living under a rock all this time and do not know that it was the State's Security that did this. This was discovered after the revolution. Other fingers point to the Mossad as well. Anyway bombing mosques or churches happens all over the world, like in Nigeria for instance were Christians burnt many mosques. Also in Bosnia and Serbia Christians burnt hundreds of mosques.
Thirdly you ignore, or perhaps do not even know, that the Quran says forbids terrorism and commands fighting only in self defense : " And fight in God's cause against those who wage war against you, but do not commit aggression-for, verily, God does not love aggressors." [2:190]
And it also commands Muslims to treat peaceful non-Muslims with kindness and justice: "As for such as do not fight against you on account of faith, and neither drive you forth from your homelands, God does not forbid you to show them kindness and to behave towards them with full equity: for, verily, God loves those who act equitably." [60:8]
"I don't agree with you but this is out of topic. Let's us talk only about the video and my statements."
Well if you don't agree then I expect a decent counter-argument. I mean the verses are crystal clear about this. I can cite hundreds of peaceful verses that call for peace and freedom of religion.
7. The theory of evolution does not contradict the Quran. In fact medieval Muslim philosophers and scientists like Ibn Khaldun, Biruni and Aljahiz among others talked about the evolution of the human being long before the time of Darwin by like 1000 years. In fact Darwin's uncle read medieval Muslim literature and was influenced by these ideas and later passed them on to Darwin before launching his voyage into Latin America.
7 "The theory of evolution does not contradict the Quran"
You may have realised I was talking in general not explicitly about Islam but also I quoted Zakir Naik who shows his animosity against this issue and he is a very famous public speaker in the English-speaking Islamic world. Pls don't deny his existence. He is not the only one!
Thank you for the book references. FYI. when I was Muslim I did not deny the evolution.
"You may have realised I was talking in general not explicitly about Islam but also I quoted Zakir Naik who shows his animosity against this issue and he is a very famous public speaker in the English-speaking Islamic world. Pls don't deny his existence. He is not the only one!"
Zakir Naik only represents his opinion. Some of what he says is right and other things he says are wrong. I believe that he is wrong on evolution.
"Thank you for the book references. FYI. when I was Muslim I did not deny the evolution.
I also believed Adam was an ape:))))"
So you do indeed agree that evolution does not contradict the Quran. Why did you bring it up then in a video that specifically talks about the Quran? It seems you just want to throw as many objections at Islam as possible even if you know they are invalid.
By the way Adam was not an ape. He was the first Homo Sapien I believe.
Back to embryology, now I will prove to you from the books of medieval Muslims commentators that embryology in the Quran contradicted the Greek conception of embryology which was prevalent at the time:
a) this is not the topic of my video therefore I will just give you my opinion but I don't want to continue arguing about it.
b) I am persuaded having reviewed this issue years ago and came out with the conclusion that the Quran was wrong not only by describing wrongly the fertilization process (the sperm secretion from the backbone) but also without mentioning the female egg. (Sura 76:2) (86:6 and 7)
You say you reviewed embryology in the Quran years ago and came out with the conclusion that the Quran was wrong? You are lying because you just copied and posted what the anti-Islamic literature says. Anyway you are wrong on all acounts regarding embryology in the Quran. I actually studied this issue, and I mean that I really studied this issue, few months ago and actually wrote a post about it in an online forum few days ago and will post it here.
The embryonic stages were wrong too. The clot, then the lump after that the bones that were clothed with flesh…..(Sura 23:14) nonsense!!!
All this process was described from the Greeks Hippocrates, Aristotle and Galen and others and copied into the Quran with all its accurate and inaccurate points
c) what you sent me are scriptures from the medieval Muslims and not from the Quran and the old Tafsir. I will read them anyway, but wont consider them as proof
"c) what you sent me are scriptures from the medieval Muslims and not from the Quran and the old Tafsir. I will read them anyway, but wont consider them as proof"
They are tafsir by medieval Muslims like Ibn Hazm, Kermani and Alhafiz Ibn Hajar which say that embryology in the Quran contradicts embryology by Galen and the ancient Greeks. I will post them here again for you so that you can understand that they are indeed proofs of what I am saying.
1. Embryology in the Quran conforms with embryology in modern science.
2. Embryology in the Quran contradicted embryology in ancient Greece and was not copied from them. This is evidence of the divine origin of the Quran.

Conclusion: The Quran does not contradict any scientific theory, and it did not copy embryology from ancient Greece as we have seen from the medieval Muslim commentators themselves. In fact the Quran corrected the errors of ancient Greeks regarding embryology which is a sign of its divine nature. I hope you understand this.
Oh my God, I just discovered that this woman (bastastop2010) is a horrible racist and that she is racist specifically against Arabs and seems to belong to some racist nationalist group. She also hates Muslims so much and wishes they just vanish from the face of the earth. It seems I was wrong to engage with her video. Should have known better.
Why do you think that I am racist and hate Arabs? These are Hasty conclusions!!!! Strange you are not the first one who says it! you remind me of somebody else!?
I personally confirm that you are wrong and if you can believe it or not.
Not only I don't hate Arabs but I even love many of my Arab friends.
Also the biggest part of my family are Muslims.
Please let me know what lead you to such a thought? I might change something in my profile to avoid such a misunderstanding.
Why do you think that I am racist and hate Arabs? These are Hasty conclusions!!!! Strange you are not the first one who says it! you remind me of somebody else!?"
So I am not the only one that says that you are racist against Arabs and Muslims! Good to know. That's what one would expect actually. What does that tell you? That we are all wrong and you are right?
"I personally confirm that you are wrong and if you can believe it or not."
You are a liar. Your communications with others on your own channel prove what a horrible racist you really are. You can deny it all you want but your posts will be there for any sane person to judge what a horrible racist you are.
I can tell the entire world that I am atheist whether they want to believe it or not however I would be a liar as my posts would prove otherwise.
"Not only I don't hate Arabs but I even love many of my Arab friends."
They are probably atheists who hate Islam and Muslims just like you. You are probably using them for your own anti-Muslim benefit. Do they read what you write about their race and other races that are predominantly Muslim? I bet not.
"Please let me know what lead you to such a thought? I might change something in my profile to avoid such a misunderstanding."
It is not in your profile description. It is your communications on your channel with others who just like you seem to hate Arabs and Muslims. The change you need is to stop your racist communications on your channel against Arabs and Muslims in general. Otherwise stop replying to me because I do not want to be associated with a terrible racist like you.
"U called me many times liar (lying) among other things. Disrespect!"
I only called you a liar once or twice because you were indeed lying. You say you come from the Middle East and a person who comes from the Middle East and says that many Muslim majority countries only teach the Quran is either lying or does not come from the Middle East. You left no choice for me.
"I don't like people who instead of arguing try to offend. You are this kind of people."
I wrote 5 entire pages of arguments refuting every single point you raised in the video and in your comment. I called you a liar when I believed you were lying. I do not feel offended when people call me a liar when I indeed lie.
"I don't hate you, but feel pity for you and I don't like you"
I feel pity for you too and I don't like you either. The feeling is mutual. You falsely think you are some civilized woman when you are one of the most racist and hate-filled people that I have come across. I despise racists like you who have the audacity to deny their obvious racism and think they have some justification for it.
I am not Arab (If by that you mean ethnic Arabs). In fact I disdain Arabism and all forms of nationalism. I consider myself a human being who believes in Islam. That's it. Nationalism is in fact the biggest disease to hit the world and you yourself are a victim of it. You do not realize that if you were born in Saudi Arabia you would be defending the Arabs in the same force that you are racist against them.
I do not know where you come from exactly and I do not even understand your language, but wherever you come from it is all a matter of chance and that is why I despise racism and racists. It is first of all inhuman and second of all defends a superficial and fake notion. I do not give a damn if I am black or white, Arab or Kurd, American, British, French, Chinese etc... It is all by chance.

any science that is in it can allready be found in greek books that predate the qu'ran. some things are even taken from the bible.
if they are into science so much why do they use 7th century books to educate their females. they won't even accept basic scientific proof and proven evolution theories.

That's exactly the muslim complex though, sell yourself larger than you could ever hope to be.

spread out in the quran refers to neal adams theory not flat earth . that's a fact from god
lahoucine66 5 months ago
@lahoucine66
This is exactly what I said in my video. Why do Muslims wait till some western scientists discover something and then claim this was described in the Quran.
Which proof do you have that the earth expansion explained from Neal Adams is the same as the one in the Quran.
And more, Neal Adams is talking about the continents, and the Quran about the planet earth!
bastastop2010 5 months ago
@bastastop2010 1st expanding earth theory talks about the growing of the earth planet in size , not the extention of continents , continents became smaller after earth expanded . quran is always the first to announce these theories about creation . 'extended' & 'spread out' in quran has always been misinterpretted by the idea of flattening but now after neal adams illustrated it by a simple video , the verses of quran have gained their devine real meaning . this theory is desputed since darwin
lahoucine66 5 months ago
@bastastop2010 read the description of my video about flat earth in which u will read about the verb TO BALL which is used in quran , this means the earth is not flat in quran . when god talks about the spread earth due to gravity he said : "it is he who made the earth AS a carpet FOR YOU " this verse means earth is not a carpet but he just made it AS a carpet for us . all the other verses talk about the extention of the earth . but anti islam activists use it against quran saying it means flat
lahoucine66 5 months ago
@lahoucine66 It's bad enough that you lie to other people, but lying to yourself is quite a serious mental disorder. The earth was not only known to be a sphere 1,000 years before Mohammed, its circumference had also been fairly accurately estimated. Nevertheless, Mohammed didn't know this and he did not refer to it as a ball. He thought the earth was a flat circular carpet, held fast by mountains (as pegs) and covered by a dome. He was wrong, like in just about everything except mind control.
ritchloui 4 months ago
@ritchloui : This is on the one hand. You were telling me about the scientists who, according to ur own words, have created modern sciences and technology. Too easy too to interpret things this way man!:) Let me stress that without Allah's will, none single discovery would have been made by anyone including the best scientist that had ever existed! For instance, Allah inspired Einstein (PBUH) for discovering his famous law E=MC2, Allah inspired Von Newmann (PBUH) for discovering the computer,etc
itheri0675 4 months ago
@itheri0675 'Without Allah's will" - more superstitious nonsense. Your imaginary friend does not exist and if he did he is a vile psychopathic, vengeful, capricious moron who does not deserve respect let alone worship. You Allah is the invention of a mentally deranged child molesting bandit slaver who realised that, like so many dangerous cult leaders, if he made out he had a special relationship to an imaginary superpower, he could get people to obey him and kill them if they didn't. Grow up.
ritchloui 4 months ago
@ritchloui : According to my Education, and tell me if I am wrong, a fair debate must obey to some rules of respect between speakers. But you bellow, you attacked the prophet of Islam Mohamed (JHSHHSH) using some "strong" adjectives of him which are utterly nonsense! Did you realize that you might hurt my feelings and that I might respond in a non-friendly manner? But I will not do that, for one main teaching of Mohamed (JHSHHSH) is to keep polite and quiet even with the most brutal man.

@ritchloui that's what they teached you ? see the video about Neal Adams expanding earth theory in my channel
lahoucine66 4 months ago
@lahoucine66 Yeah. I checked out the vid you suggested. Really interesting and favourited. However, it's rather clutching at straws to claim that the Koran with its vague statements was correct. The words used in the translation have often changed in light of new scientific theories or to suit a particular audience. I know that we all use the lens of our existing worldview, how could it be otherwise, so for you, you need to refer to the Koran.
ritchloui 4 months ago
@lahoucine66 Well, I've just done a search on the 'expanding earth theory' and guess what. Not only has it been debunked but, surprise surprise, it was first proposed by Aristotle. Yes, another Ancient Greek thinker who lived 1,000 before Mohammed and who seems to have influenced, but not accredited, Mohammed. Sorry mate. Another Muslim FAIL.
ritchloui 4 months ago
@lahoucine66 I assume you are aware that Neal Adams is a cartoonist by trade. Really, if you want to be taken seriously you are going to have to come up with rather better sources than fantasists who put together slick cartoons and think that they have shown that the entire scientific world is basically a conspiracy. Disappointing. But hey, you think the Koran has scientific credentials so you are really willing to believe anything.
ritchloui 4 months ago
@ritchloui u have 2 know that this hypothesis is ancient . Neal Adams is just advocating it (read about growing earth on wikipedia) a lot of other scientists advocate it because they don't believe in pangea . what imports more is that the quran is the only book which guides 2 pure monotheism , 2 the worship of god of moses , that's what god will ask u about , not science . the scientific & linguistic miracles in the quran , are just 2 show people that this book is not human made
lahoucine66 4 months ago
@lahoucine66 Of course the Koran is man made. It was derided at the time by scientists and thinkers. The Koran is full of errors, contradictions, contains no useful information and provides no worthwhile explanations. Another Muslim FAIL.

Have a GD

-To be racist or not, is utterly an improper argument as this video is not treating race issues.
- YW: " u said that Muslims did not contribute to contemporary science"
Again u prove that u didn't listen to what I said.
BTW. Did u see the last picture in the video?
U still have a lot to learn. E.g to listen carefully, objectively and without emotions:))))
-If it makes u happy to think that you refuted this video, I am also happy for u, maybe this will help u to cool down.

@Ahmad1Salam
3 Your accusations ( racist etc…) are assumptions that lead to a bad cooperation.
bastastop2010 8 months ago
@bastastop2010
Ahmad1Salam 8 months ago
@bastastop2010

ZeusZahouani 9 months ago
@ZeusZahouani
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@Ahmad1Salam "I have proved below the conformity of the Quranic model of embryonic development with modern embryology."
It's lacking important issues, it's far too vague, there are mistakes in all it's WRONG.

Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@Ahmad1Salam
1)
You aren't refuting but confirming my statement. Did you really understand the topic? I am not criticizing the Quran as a (holy) book but as a scientific one.
I started my homework with at 6 years old and I know that the Quran mentions other objects in the Samaa too as the 11 planets in Surat Yusif.
the Samaa, indeed has only one meaning, which is everything above earth as said in my video but nowadays many Muslims are giving this one word different meanings and not me.

"1)
You aren't refuting but confirming my statement. Did you really understand the topic? I am not criticizing the Quran as a (holy) book but as a scientific one."
Actually it is you who did not mount any meaningful objection to the Quran. In your video you said where are the orbits and paths, and I told you that there are many references to the orbits and paths of celestial bodies in the Quran (Not just in sura Youssef). So again what is your objection exactly?

Embryology in the Quran does not contradict modern science, and it was not taken from the Greeks. Actually the ancient commentators said that embryology as described in the Quran contradicted the standard knowledge at that time.
Conclusion: The Quran is compatible with modern science.
As for comets, it is not wrong to say that they hit spiritual things. If the Quran is right on all other accounts then it is reasonable to believe it on this account too.
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@Ahmad1Salam
Of please, have some decency :)
KLSeba 9 months ago
@KLSeba
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@Ahmad1Salam
KLSeba 9 months ago
@KLSeba

Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@Ahmad1Salam
2. There is no such thing as "conventional logic" vs. "religious logic".
A logic is a system of reasoning. Arguable enough to see many religions have their own logic that are not conform to each other.
Rational conventional logic shows proof.
Show me Allah or Buddha! If you want to recite me your convictions you already failed as this is not called conventional logic but your beliefs' logic.
bastastop2010 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
So there is no Islamic logic or atheist logic or Christian logic or Hindu logic etc... There is only one logic and only one of these groups got it right.
By the way, there are many disagreements among the atheists themselves regarding the nature of the universe and morality etc... You seem to be unaware of this.
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
"Show me Allah or Buddha! If you want to recite me your convictions you already failed as this is not called conventional logic but your beliefs' logic."
Here is one evidence for the existence of God:
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
This is a sound argument. If you agree then we can discuss why this God is Allah and not Yahweh or Buddha or Krishna etc...
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago

3- " The Quran is not a scientific book." This is also the main topic of the video

"3- " The Quran is not a scientific book." This is also the main topic of the video"
Well that is what all Muslims believe in. At least the Muslims that I know. The Quran is a book of guidance, not physics or biology etc...
"But mentioning that the sun is a moving orbit contradicts science for instance."
The sun orbits the Milky Way galaxy once every 225-250 million years. Didn't you know that? Conclusion: The Quran got it right.
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago

KLSeba 9 months ago
@KLSeba
Your analogy with Santa and speed is unintelligible.
The Quran made claims as early as the 10th century when the Muslim commentators rejected Greek embryology because it conflicted with the Quran. science has vindicated the Quran.
And what does the moon landing have to do with the Quran?
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
5. You are deliberately lying when you say that in Muslim countries they only teach the Quran.
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago

Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@Ahmad1Salam
I was living middle in this kind of wars and I am not interested on debating this, as Egypt was just an actual example.
bastastop2010 9 months ago

"Since history started getting recorded the human being and war were tight together, it doesn't matter what was the reason."
So why did you bring it up then?
"If Atheists killed people they did not do it for a religion."
I won't call you a liar on this one, just ignorant. In the 20th century atheists killed hundreds of millions of people because of Marxism which is a radical atheist ideology. That does not mean that atheism is wrong because of this.
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
It only means that some atheists were just murderers. Same goes for Muslims for instance. If a Muslim kills someone then it is because he is a criminal, not because the Quran incites him to kill people, because the Quran does not. It is a very peaceful book.
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010

Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
"Even the crusades came later."
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago

"The current religion wars are mostly caused by Muslims."
Nonsense. Who started World War I and II? Who started the Cold War? Who started the Wars in Vietnam? Who started the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq? Who is constantly stalking and antagonizing Iran? It is not Muslims but radical Christians in the US.
And do not talk to me about 9/11 because every person with a critical mind knows that it was an inside job.
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010

Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
And it also commands Muslims to treat peaceful non-Muslims with kindness and justice: "As for such as do not fight against you on account of faith, and neither drive you forth from your homelands, God does not forbid you to show them kindness and to behave towards them with full equity: for, verily, God loves those who act equitably." 7.

About Embryologie (1)
a) this is not the topic of my video therefore I will just give you my opinion but I don't want to continue arguing about it.
b) I am persuaded having reviewed this issue years ago and came out with the conclusion that the Quran was wrong not only by describing wrongly the fertilization process (the sperm secretion from the backbone) but also without mentioning the female egg. (Sura 76:2) (86:6 and 7)
... to be continued

Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010
Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago
@bastastop2010

About Embryologie (2)
The embryonic stages were wrong too. The clot, then the lump after that the bones that were clothed with flesh…..(Sura 23:14) nonsense!!!
All this process was described from the Greeks Hippocrates, Aristotle and Galen and others and copied into the Quran with all its accurate and inaccurate points
c) what you sent me are scriptures from the medieval Muslims and not from the Quran and the old Tafsir. I will read them anyway, but wont consider them as proof

@bastastop2010

@bastastop2010

Ahmad1Salam 9 months ago

Conclusion:

Should have known better.

haha!

So I am not the only one that says that you are racist against Arabs and Muslims! Good to know. That's what one would expect actually. What does that tell you? That we are all wrong and you are right?

You are a liar. Your communications with others on your own channel prove what a horrible racist you really are. You can deny it all you want but your posts will be there for any sane person to judge what a horrible racist you are.
I can tell the entire world that I am atheist whether they want to believe it or not however I would be a liar as my posts would prove otherwise.

It is not in your profile description. It is your communications on your channel with others who just like you seem to hate Arabs and Muslims. The change you need is to stop your racist communications on your channel against Arabs and Muslims in general. Otherwise stop replying to me because I do not want to be associated with a terrible racist like you.

I only called you a liar once or twice because you were indeed lying. You say you come from the Middle East and a person who comes from the Middle East and says that many Muslim majority countries only teach the Quran is either lying or does not come from the Middle East. You left no choice for me.

It is all by chance.
