@HunterPiazza tho your generalization of rap is viewed by most on the outside as such, not all hip hop is like that, the mainstream now is for what you could bump in the clubs, theres no lyricism at all now ( for mainstream) you should check out Pete Rock and Cl Smooth they are dynomite when it comes to hip hop

yes . . . .Ollie Woodson did write this song, I had the opportunity to hear him sing it on Valentines Day, 2010; (solo performance) he gave a great performance as usual --- definitely one eof my favorites! I also like "Turn Out the Stars" and My "Na Na" by Mr. Woodson, love his voice!!!!
The lead voice on this song, which I believe he wrote, is Ali-Ollie Woodson who has died in LA on May 30, 2010 of cancer...58 is much too young...I'm soooo sad...I was blessed to see him many times. This album is vintage, he isn't pictured.
