In my case, my wife's delivery of my first child went into complications, so they did cesarean to deliver the baby. She was on Medication for the first 3 months and my baby lost on all that breastmilk...By the time she could, the baby didnt want it no more...But it helps the kids immunity a lot!!!

A lot of women don't respond well to pumps. Easier said than done. Not to mention, even if you could, you'd still end up with supply issues because you'd have to pump while you're out after the baby takes that bottle in order to maintain a proper supply, avoid engorgement, and risk mastitis. Where's a woman supposed to pump in public? AND on top of that, a lot of bf babies won't take a bottle. So nursing a baby in public is easier for everyone involved, and random strangers aren't involved.

I have breastfed all 3 of my children. With the first two I had significant latch problems. I didn't seek help with my first baby and she ended up weaned at 6 months to bottles and formula. With my second, I had had breast surgery, and it was a lot harder, but I got a supplemental nursing aid and, with determination, kept her at the breast to 9 months.

I agree. It is something that is completely natural. Breastfeeding has being going on from the early days of life and will continue long after our great x3 grandchildren are have come and gone.

breastfeeding hurt a lot for me, i bled a lot too and yeah, no one tells you it's gonna be that way, but hell, it was only the first week then all was well and i did it for 11 mos., weaned naturally and now my daughter is a super genius healthy 2 yr old yay!

well, i had a HELLISH time trying to get the bfing right. i bled, chaffed, and was so sore. i cried, cursed, and screamed from the pain and frustration. nobody ever told me how difficult bfing could be. nobody prepared me to this world of pain. my baby latched on and latched on FIERCE, but latched on wrong. she wasn't getting the areola in her mouth, too! anyway, bfing was awesome for me and i did it for 15 months. yay!
