Your information is wrong pal. Not all the added lights on the truck have to be working. Only what came on the truck from the factory. Better go check your information again hippy.
@BlackwolfTrucker Well it's not my fault you allow the DOT to pull a fast one on you. Check the FEDERAL REGS, not the state regs pal. If you are letting a CMV officer or inspector write you a citation for other than factory lights being inoperable, that is your own fault because you don't know the regs.
@janglerat with ten years behind the wheel i can tell you with experiance that with out a doubt EVERY SINGLE LIGHT MUST WORK.......you are not legally required to have all the lights alot of trucks add but by federal D.O.T. regulations if its ont the truck it MUST work......now in some states and with some cops they dont care but highway patrol tends to be strict with trucks and i havent gotten out of ticket with them yet.........

All exterior lamps (both required lamps and any additional lamps) shall be STEADY BURNING with the exception of turn signal lamps; hazard warning signal lamps; etc. The KEY WORD in the regulation is STEADY BURNING. Meaning, the light, IF ON should be STEADY BURNING and NOT FLICKERING. It don't say anywhere in the regulation that it has to work. Only it must be STEADY BURNING when ON. Challenge it you will win

@mnstormchaser I went with Sure Wish I Finished Training, because it was the truth. Where I went to driving school was one of the highest rated driving schools in the nation that was a 10 week course, required 1000 miles behind the wheel experience, and skidpad certification. They also trained SWIFT drivers there in 4 weeks with absolute minimal training. They were out the door when we were just learning to handle the bobtail trucks XD
