I just got the Sony NWZ -E353 for Christmas. I was asking for either an iPod touch or the awesome Zune HD. But then I realized that even though they offer so much for you to do, they cost so much. Especially the iPod touch just because of the name brand. For me, it's the sound quality that matters. And my new sony offers good quality sound and is also much more durable than the touch. I will only buy an iPod touch when the price goes DOWN!

I got a problem , the volume is maxed out ( 30/30 ) but its still to low.

I go into test mode , but i cant change the settings:/

Any idea how to increase the volume ty :)

Have you tried going to the Settings, then the Common Settings, then going to the AVLS Setting. This setting keeps the volume at a minimum, so it wont be too loud for you to hear what's going on. Turn the AVLS Setting off, and that should take care of your volume problem. Hope this helps!

The difference is battery life, the E436F has like, fifty hours of battery life, while the E344 has only about thirty hours. Also, I believe you can take the battery out of the E344. I used to have the E436F, but it malfunctioned, and best buy gave me the E344 as a replacement model. I have also noticed, that the E344 is alot quicker when it comes to fast forwarding/rewinding mp3 tracks. The charging chords are also different. Hope this reply helps.

i got the New NWZ-E344 and I LOVE IT!!! The mp3 i had before was the NWZ-S616 "S series" and the sony usb cord broke for that one and couldn't find it in stores so i decided to start over and get another sony which this one i have is 8gb compared to the 4gb sony before this one. I will never buy an ipod as long as sony keeps making mp3 players with video.

I think that "NWZ-E430F" refers to the player's series, while the "NWZ-E436F" refers to a specific player within the series. In Sony model numbers the third digit refers to the player's total capacity. The digit "6" indicates that the player has a capacity of 4GB, while an "8" as the third digit would indicate that the player has a capacity of 8GB. But except for the capacity both players would basically be the same.

music 8p. really good but doesn't have the extras like clear bass etc. like other walkman models but still very good!

picture 8p. the screen is 2inch big the resolution of it is 240x320 you can turn the picture round and make a slide show its a quit good extra for an mp3 player.

video 8p. if the 2 inch "small" screen doesn't bother you then its perfect! video playback works flawless and looks nice.

overall for the price i give this walkman 9.5p.

Use Windows media player. Drag the Video that you want to add to a playlist.  Then click on "Sync" . Open the playlist that you saved the video on. Then just drag the video to the side where it says " Drag items here to sync" . Then click on "Start Sync".
