  • jingles made by pams.....

  • Who were the musicians, singers, arrangers and producers who made these jingles?

  • Nice!

  • Good Show this is all way before my time but i love it !

  • Dave..thanks SO much for so much you have put onto You Tube......yes..SRE was, as you say, Laser ahead of it's time.

Why not jingles today? I wonder......

  • It made me an offshore broadcaster, I loved the station. Thanks for posting. Dave, are you the decent dude who posted my TV appearance on YouTube, which resulted in a family reunion. That being the case I owe you more than a pint amigo, I'm on You Tube as DSVOP, we should meet, if only for my chance to buy you a brew.

  • Hay RADLETT2 what about a internet version today try putting Radio England into shoutcast or looking at Pirate Radio Network both dot coms

  • Swinging Radio England - what memories hey Dave? Always my favourite Pirate Station of 1966. Gerry Smithwick, Boom Boom Brannigan and Ron O'Quinn - great DJ's way ahead of their time. If only they were still with us today. Those BOSS JOCKS with much more BOSS MUSIC.

  • Johnnie Walker got his break on Radio England.

  • Thanks Dave, takes me back to my time as a pirate radio DJ.

  • Wow I had those "Pams" jingles on a reel-to-reel tape in 1971. I edited them onto a cassette and used them on my mobile disco. Strange to here it again.

Our sig sune was "Groovin' woth Mr Blow"

  • Hi rambo-yeah I had a reel to reel with PAMS jingles,Radio Caroline jingles and some funny drop ins.(you can't beat the old PAMS jingles)

Love to know were that bloody tape is now!

  • Very nostalgic, brings back happy memories.

I used to follow the plight of the Pirates very closely.

We must not forget the Pirates "up north" - Radio Caroline North (199m), Radio Scotland (242m) and Radio 270 (off Scarborough) which lost its mast before it could broadcast a single note.

    Thanks Dave

  • SIMPLY BRILLIANT

  • yes when i was 14!!!!! i listened to Swinging Radio England all the time....sadly it was at least 20 to 30 years ahead of its time...listened on the tranny on the way home from school...

  • My favourite radio station of ALL time!
