  • WEATHER CHANNEL MUSIC WOOHOO!

  • There's nothing at all wrong with this song! You can never have too much sax!

  • I just found out that the guy on the saxophone is Marc Russo of Yellowjackets fame.

  • This brings back memories. I was a weather channel nerd in the mid 1990's(1994-1996). This music was on there in the winter of 1995-96. It reminds me of some cold nights. Pretty nice I could finally find it after all of these years.

  • @evergreenstater

I also remember it from the Jan-March 1999 playlist. I didn't know it was played before then.

  • Nice song. However I don't like too much the sax. It's too enfatic.

  • Ray really creates some timeless music. I love his work.

  • Where's Ray's Guitar playing?

  • Hi! hes the composer, also arrangements. In this song he play guitar in second plane (chords).

Even he also plays midi guitars, in what he can repoduce any sound (pianos, flutes, etc..) although i dont know if in this song is the case.

He is a musician not only guitarrist.

    Thank you!

  • oh ok. I have this song by the way. I was just trying to figure out where Ray is in this song since I only hear a saxophone playing

  • @dotz2ro im sorry, but what does "second plane" mean? im a drummer, dont know much about guitar. I know I found this cd when I was like 15yrs old. My late uncle had it in his collection. I knew nothin about jazz but I can replay every song on this CD. its incredible. I love this album.

  • @DwellersoftheUnsafe Oh sorry for my english, i mean in background, in arrangements, etc... but dont pay too much attention for my music level, i speak from the heart not for the knowledges i could have, Thanks

  • Can anyone post "Iguana" by Ray Obeido?? It's a title track, I believe.

  • Now thats a tune

  • YES IT IS!!!! Wow, the Bass Clarinet is awesome and distinctive in that song!

  • Love the ending, with that clarinet lick. Classic. Infact the whole album is one of the best ever for me.

  • Thanks so much for posting this! Where'd you get the song from?

  • en algún momento me recuerda a Rippingtons...

  • Mmmm puede ser, si.

    Cual seria el crimen perfecto?...

    Gracias!

  • que bonito, suena muy bien dotz2ro
