well done for figuring it out. My mare happened to do the same over christmas. We didnt get the worst on camera. But she was so much like your mare above, all due to back problems that our ciro sorted out thankfully. I know you feel guitly so did i. But they move on and forget. But i am really happy you tried to help her in otherways. Unlike some people.

I know how you feel! The horse I take care of, Hobbes, has a hock injury that will most likely never heal completely in his lifetime (he's around 27 years old). I didn't care that I probably will never ride him again. I just want him to be happy and feel better - so he gets spoiled rotten every day ;)

I know how you feel! I take care of a 28-year-old QH named Hobbes, who is also injured (hock injury). I don't care if I ever ride him again, I just want him to feel better and be happy. I spoil him rotten all the time =) you two have a great bond.

.. 6 weeks on i am still to scared to ride him out, having him jump off the cliff and not be dead was amazing but it might not be so amazing the bext time.

my gelding has just started the same thing.

had hes teeth done/vet out and its a newly fitted saddle. 6 weeks ago he bolted of a cliff and i nearly broke my neck, got the the yard the next day to find out a lady had been to see him and offerd me £3,300 witch is more than i paid and my mum wouldnt shut up and kept trying to make me sell him and get a BETTER HORSE.......

well as always your video made me well up! you have such a way with making the videos that just show how much you love her and how much she clearly loves you. bless her rearing, sometimes its the only way they can tell you, ive had it with Flash and his back, he started stopping at shows and jumping really strangly, when i got his back checked it was a mess and i was told he should never have let me get on let alone jump anything. so i know how guilty it makes u feel. i will keep my fingers...

Don't worrie :) shes proply gone a bit fresh and green ,

its ok holly ( my horse) was left in her paddock straight after broken in and it was a challenge for me to ride her because i didnt have the skill back then!

You are an amazing rider, and you have a drop dead gowgus horse, that you have a great bond with, it will be fine.....!

im so sorry , you've had a rough few months ! dont beat urself up about it , you did very well to contact people and realise there was something not right with her. I know a lot of people who would just blame the horse and give them a lot of grief for it. Amazing video , the bond and love between the two of you never ceases to amaze me. ohh, im so sorry! i no how it fells wen a horse so special to u is in pain, my little gelding got cast and sprained his fetlock joint very badly, we thought he would have to be retired, hes ok now but is still sore, even though he won`t show it. He is a fighter and so is your mare, she`ll be ok and so will you, try to stay strong. it`ll be ok.
