I have built these ever since i was 5; got a bunch of toas, nuvas, inikas, pirakas, rahkshis, some stars, and these tall slimmer toas I keep forgetting the name of. Now they have.........hero factory. Even the name alone pisses me off.

See, they had no choice but to keep expanding. It's this thing with High Fantasy (I truly believe Bionicle is Biomechanical High Fantasy), that you have to have an entire world developed, not sticking to a backgroundless and reasonless evil fighting against a backgroundless and reasonless bunch of good guys. Everything needs to have a reason. Everything needs to sound like real.

The reason we loved it in the beginning was because of the simplicity of the Bionicles, and the MYSTERY. Oh my GOD, I LOVED that island. Not knowing what it was, having it be so mysterious and ambiguous.
