RON PAUL I HAVE A ? FOR YOU. WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR ARE YOU IF YOU DONT CARE ABOUT HEALTHCARE FOR AMERICAN PEOPLE? FORGET ABOUT KIDS IN AFRICA OR WOMEN IN AFGANISTAN, WHAT SPECIES ARE YOU? ARE YOU HUMAN? DO YOU LOVE AMERICAN PEOPLE OR YOU JUST WANT POWER? DUDE ALL JOBS WENT TO CHINA , CHINESE WORK LIKE ROBOTS. WHY U DONT WANT AMERICAN PEOPLE TO HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE IF TECHNOLOGY KILLS JOBS ?
Our moron President called the U.S. Constitution " just a goddamn piece of paper" Ron Paul understands ( and has always understood.) that the U.S. Constitution is what AMERICA IS! Read PRELUDE TO TERROR by Joseph Trento. The Bush/Clinton CIA crime family has highjacked and corrupted this once great Nation for 3 decades!
What I find most appealing about the Ron Paul campaign, is the spirit of kindredness: that we are, despite our differences of a similar mind. We are united, as Lincoln said, by "the better Angels of our nature." This is unique to politics, and will have a long echo. For those who had no interest in politics are now leaping from their beds to join the Ron Paul campaign. This is a very good thing, and its essence is one of spirit more than anything else.
Prospector Sam I agree completely with you. I think that Ron Paul is wonderful and highly intelligent. I have done research into many subjects and have found that he is right about most things he speaks of. We need to get our soldiers out of that war and it is NOT right for them to be FORCED to stay and fight.
I agree about maintaining global trade and being friends with countries and not forcing views on others. The overall problem, however, is very complex, no simple single solution fixes all problems.
A War Crimes Trial against the current administration...is the solution that fixes most of America's problems. It is a crime to wage a War of agression...pas it on.
yea uhhh iraq never attacked us. i hate to say it but they were much better off under hussein. more people have died from us sanctions, bombings, and the war than hussein. first it was to rid them of weapons of mass destruction, now its to liberate the iraqi people! they are already having a civil war with us there and when we leave the media will eat it up like we should have stayed. im sick and tired of this fucking bullshit.
Hello, if you are apart or would like to be apart of the Ron Paul Revolution. I have compiled a cleaned up PDF version of Ron Paul's Wikipedia article, please feel free to download it and email to all your family, friends, interested coworkers (be aware of your works "Politicing Policies"), etc., etc., or post the link whenever you get the chance. Thank You... DEFENDINDEPENDENCE(DOT)ORG/OIF/RP2008.PDF
healthcare is like the water supply or fire departments. Do you really want people to individually source their own daily water and stand alone against personal adversity. There was a time when the remarkable virtue about Americans was to pull together in to communities for common good...it is sad that has been extinguished in favor isolated personal debt and consumerism.
The key words came out of your own thoughts. People pulled together in their "communities". That is completely different from having the federal goverment become everyones insurer for health.
Nothing wrong with communities banding together because the power of using the money is closer to the people.
I for one, do not trust any politician with my money unless he is my neighbor.
Yes community control; but there must be a national framework to optimize technology and protect consumers from abuse. The marketplace simply does not work with healthcare. It forces our docs to prosititute their services, rationing service to the highest bidder, while operating a practical monopoly over the service at the "point of sale". Free business to focuse on their business with a good national system.
Looks like someone's shaving a little too close with that razor. ;-)
Yes, we do have problems now, but I say ask DOCTOR Ron Paul, not you, about how to improve health care. The last thing I want is Washington DC in charge of my health. (Well, next to last; having the UN in charge of it would be the ultimate foolishness.) The FDA is a good current example of the problem with your plan. Big pharma > FDA.
So you want Mr. Fox to control the henhouse. Better Washington DC than the big business squeezing heathcare quantity and quantity for short term bottom line.
The relationship between citizenry, government, and corporation is extremely important. I would argue that at the present time both of the latter are foxes; neither is trustworthy. The proper relationship is citizens overseeing gov and gov overseeing corps; status quo AFAICS is citizens meekly submitting to gov and corps buying politicians to control gov.
(cont'd) What you propose, within that system, seems to me to be useless; the corps are in charge now, and would still be in charge if the gov were to be put in charge, because they control the gov.
So that's one reason I favor liberty instead of collectivism in health care. I can vote big pharma out by spending my medical $ on something else (or nothing) -- as long as they aren't held in place via gov't, which is what I anticipate would happen with a national health plan.
Feel free to give me an alternate vision, but that's how it looks to me.
Osama bin Laden warned us 5 years before the 9/11 attack that he was going to attack us on our soil if we did not take our troops out of "the holy land" of Saudi Arabia. He said it again in 98. He even called for a truce if we pulled out of the middle east right before the 2004 elections.
I, for one, do not believe Islamic Extremeists require that we, as American's, turn ourselves into slaves. I say let the Islamic freaks come here and we'll fix them once and for all. Otherwise, let's mind our own business.
"I, for one, do not believe Islamic Extremists require that we, as American's, turn ourselves into slaves."
Very True!
"I say let the Islamic freaks come here and we'll fix them once and for all."
Not so easily done. If these "freaks" are suicide bombers, then we will have an even harder time of it than the Israelis. As I understand it, not only is gun ownership very high in Israel, military training is universal.
All Israeli men are in the military when they are old enough. That is one of the justification terrorist have of killing civilians. (suicide bombers are still wrong)
what does Ron Paul have to gain? He's a Republican. You sir need to get your head outta your ass. WAKE UP!!!!!! They to report to congrses on their progress with the "SURGE" in sept. Its now the end of june. HELLOOOO!!! If you don't see the "SURGE" as the delay tactic that it is....
sounds like you drank the entire pitcher of kool-aid and asked for seconds:)
Asking if the Surge is working before all the forces and operations even get in place and start? Brilliant. Nah, no political campaign rhetoric there. Not from a Presidential candidate.
I missed the part where this campaign rhetoric contradicted any previous statements made by the individual in question. Also, I wasn't aware that Gen. Batiste was running for President, I guess I learn something new everyday.
How is he "pandering"? He's always been completely consistent and principled in his position on Iraq. He's ALWAYS opposed the Iraq war. He opposed it when opposing it was the unpopular thing to do and the majority supported it.
Furthermore, I got a good laugh out of that scene from "Gettysburg" that you posted to defend the Iraq War. Glorifying the butchering of tens of thousands of Americans on the battlefield and the mass burnings of Southern towns is a good parallel to what is going on in Iraq. Leave us not forget what the Union did to the Indians after they were done pillaging the South.

Grannys kosher neocon recipe:
1.Scare the shit out of US voters with terrorist attacks and threats
2.Invade Arab country with massive oil reserves
3.Sell US government lots of weapons, and services
4.Put puppet government in Arab country
5.Extract oil and cool for a while
6.Scare the shit out of US voters again with more terrorist threats
7.Invade Persian country with tons more oil reserves. Do not overheat
8.Invite Israeli friends and serve with finger cookies and champagne

While the form of treachery varies slightly from case to case, liberals always manage to take the position that most undermines American security.

But keep doing it every year, no body should be able to reap the opium crop. But don't ask how it is meeting over 60% of US street demand.
