Testing the spirits is sound advice. The very best and safest way to test the spirits is to ask the question, "Who does this glorify?" If someone is healed, raised from the dead, etc., and everyone is praising and glorifying Jesus Christ, then it must be of God. Satan isn't going to do anything that gives Glory to Jesus.

God's sees the faith we put in his son and grants us freedom from the persecution for our sins. And once you accept Jesus as truth, you will undoubtedly turn from sin and so much more. I've never been perfect. I'm a sinner too, but God knows how much I love him and what he has done for me. I've only recently began to dig in and lose religion and gain the true love of God.

The "fruit" is not talking about how something looks or if something is full of "good" works. Lots of false religions have "good" fruit in that reguard. Fruit is talking about what is being taught.

Heidi's teaching is right on with Scripture. And her love of Jesus surpasses yours and mine! Instead of trying to judge the fruit, we should be pushing into the presence of God until our faces exude the love of Jesus as hers does.
I don't disagree with most of what you said, except we don't have to press into God's presence, we have God, the Holy Spirit, in us and with is. We are to study his word to know him and know his will. It is the only way, his presence is everywhere, and we can do nothing, not strive or struggle to better "get" there. I agree with you somewhat about organized religion, but the Bible tells us that we are not to forsake the fellowship of other believers. The church provides a necessary service for bringing people into the Kingdom of God, teaching them the principles in God's Word, etc.
God the Son (Jesus) told us to love God with all our hearts and love others as we love ourselves. There's no room for hatred there. Not all religions are of God. There is no salvation other than through Christ.
Proof? How can anyone explain to another that by asking Jesus Christ to forgive them of their sins and to be Lord of their life completely changed them. That's when the Holy Spirit comes into that life.

@lizazoon sickness, but then it also destroys your body. So it's not much help at all. After taking any perscribed drugs, your body has to deal with curing the problem it had in the beggining, and now healing itself from the drug that was put into your body, meaning it just does more work.
On the other hand God has given us everything we need to cure every single disease in nature. Raw foods + herbs will cure any disease that exists and will ever exist. God knows what he's doing :)

Testing the spirits is sound advice. The very best and safest way to test the spirits is to ask the question, "Who does this glorify?" If someone is healed, raised from the dead, etc., and everyone is praising and glorifying Jesus Christ, then it must be of God. Satan isn't going to do anything that gives Glory to Jesus.
For those who doubt that miracles are for today, Jesus said that after he left and the Holy Spirit comes, we would do everything we saw him do AND MORE!

We will either hear God's voice welcoming us into the Kingdom to live with Him eternally or we will hear the Lord's voice saying, "Depart from Me, I never knew you." Those will be the worst words a person could hear because it means eternity in hell separated from God and everything beautiful.

God's sees the faith we put in his son and grants us freedom from the persecution for our sins. And once you accept Jesus as truth, you will undoubtedly turn from sin and so much more. I don't disagree with most of what you said, except we don't have to press into God's presence, we have God, the Holy Spirit, in us and with is. We are to study his word to know him and know his will. It is the only way, his presence is everywhere, and we can do nothing, not strive or struggle to better "get" there. Heidi's teachings are definitely a bit off, but she's better than some. :p

I agree with you somewhat about organized religion, but the Bible tells us that we are not to forsake the fellowship of other believers. The church provides a necessary service for bringing people into the Kingdom of God, teaching them the principles in God's Word, etc.
God the Son (Jesus) told us to love God with all our hearts and love others as we love ourselves. There's no room for hatred there. Not all religions are of God. There is no salvation other than through Christ.

Life's a hard journey and everyone gets knocked off their feet a few times by it. Turning to blind faith to lean upon is pointless.
If you want salvation, extrication from the troubles of life and guidance I suggest instead of looking up into the skys you look down into yourself. That's where the real answers lie. I don't think it comes as easily as merely following a book of ancient, medieval rituals.

I never claimed to be satisfied with the answers provided by science. However it has helped us open our eyes to our surroundings and broadened our horizons. I don't think any scientist nor human for that matter can find global truth and meaning - only his own. I think I'll probably find more answers looking deeply and honestly at myself as a meek organism than I would gazing into the sky reciting ancient theorys.

Believers, ask yourselves this question: WHY DOESN'T GOD HEAL AMPUTEES?
You accept that your god cures disease, as it clearly states in the bible. HOWEVER, no matter how hard you pray, no matter how deeply you believe, your god NEVER heals amputees. WHY? Does he not LIKE amputees? Are they creepy? Do they deserve his mercy any less than cancer patients?
The answer is obvious: There are no gods. There is just us humans, and we need to start believing in PEACE, instead of nasty fairy tales.

Funny, isn't it? Religionists hold to their dangerous, hateful, dogmatic beliefs, in the hopes that they will be rewarded in heaven. Rather than deal with an honest question about why their beloved god refuses to heal amputees, they resort to petty actions. It's like they cover their ears and yell "La la la!! I can't hear you!! La la la!!" The truth is too scary for them, but it needn't be. It's okay to question. In fact, it is crucial. Blind obedience to any religion is fraught with danger!

Heidi is a woman of God. And yes there has been people raised from the dead in Mozambique. I have heard Heidi's testimony of the dead raised. Heidi comes often to the Catch the fire conference at Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship.
