sa mindanao ne prito(saute) yun baboy at hindi tubig gamit pang lambot gamit namin pineapple juice at paminta at bawang marami, laurel, konti asin, asukal central, mushroom sauce hindi soy sauce, at patis! tapos sa huli yung banana blossoms at chinese black beans at boiled egg nang duck at konti kangkong!

i like the way she make ..that is a traditional cooking of paksiw na pata ...i missed that kind opf a food ..my mother used to cooked it for lunch........

sa amin sa MANILA kapag syrup ng pineapple, peach o di kaya ay syrup ng fruitcocktail ang ginamit mo para pampalambot ay hindi PINAKSIW NA PATA!
Iyan a HAMONADO!
Sa Manila at sa mga chinese ang PINAKSIW na PATA TRADITIONALY AY GANITO ANG TIMPLADA! Talagang may suka ang hindi piniprito ang PATA!

I mean TRADITIONALLY*, what you are trying to discribe here are 3 different things which is known in MANILA as follows:
a.) because of boiled egg, it referes to PORK PATA ASADO!
b.) beacause of pineapple syrup or juice, it refers to PORK PATA HAMONADO!
c.) because of chinese black beans or the so called "TAUSI", it refers to HUMBA- which is usually PORK BELLY
and finally, PAKSIW NA PATA is TRADITIONALLY cook this way!
