My rabbit can even make more tricks.....today her new lesson was puting back the pencil.....on 28-09-2011,i gave her the pencil out of the bow....she threw it back to the box then i was like...lol....then pat her :L

I thought I had commented on this one, but can't find it, oh well, I think Bandit did awesome. Keen doesn't close the door or drawers,she SLAMS them shut! (but then she is rough about everything! LOL) Nice work you two! Keep the videos coming!

Yes, well it depends on the dog. I have seen your obedience competition and you make that look easy! I just had my first fun obedience match and my bc was a mad man! :) Crazy how that ring with a person makes it so much more challenging. My bc can heel nicely, but I guess he can't do it at a trial yet. :) Great job with your dog!!

It's amazing how certain breeds of dogs are so much faster at picking things up than others, it shows what kind of work the dogs were bred for.

Thanks! Yes I agree that some dogs just pick things up faster. You can see how fast my Border Collie picks it up compared to my husky mix that still can't close the drawer completely. Thank you for watching.

well sorta he wants to use his paw and his gonna scratch my mums closests lol! he got set back lol once he got scared of the banging of teh draw lol! poor rusty! i dont think he likes it much!

If is ok if he tries to use his paw, just ignore and hold out for nose touches. You could just go back a step to have him touch his nose to the post it without it on the drawer and make sure he has it well and then put the post it on the drawer. Also, Isabelle my husky mix was afraid of the movement as well. So, when she made it move even a tiny bit in the beginning I would give her a jackpot of treats. This way she knew it was good to make it move. Dogs are so funny, hang in there.

awesome video pam. When i'm teaching people stuff there like that didn't work. i Tell them then go back a step there like ooo i didn't now i could do that. Some people think well my dog won't do it we then he can't do it then they quite.

I know, I find that people give up too quickly as well. Sometimes if you go back a step you get a more solid behavior. :) Thank you for the comment.

Great video! Bandit is very precise about getting that drawer completely shut! I recently started teaching Keen to open a drawer and a cabinet door, find the bone if I ask inside, and close the cabinet door. (the drawer closing is a bit trickier since it is a wicker chest and the drawer sticks!) She got it all very fast and is as precise about her cabinet door slamming shut as Bandit is! Isn't it just wonderful how fast they learn? Great training, your dogs are wonderful! :)

I hope to have some time tomorrow to video those things with Keen. I am just getting back to full speed after that recent flu virus! >:( And of course, laundry came first! LOL (of which Keen did help with! right! )She loves pushing and pulling the basket around, but not as much help as she thinks! LOL
