  • One of the best passers in the NHL, he's not the best in everything he's just every good in everything :) Elias is what you call a championship caliber player, he's that silent sniper type, you look the other way for 1 second and he'll make you pay one way or another.

  • he is seriously the most UNDER rated players in the NHL

    when healthy, hes a 80-85point player, even fore his age

    hes always patient with the puck and makes it look easy

    cant wait for the Kovy+Elias line

  • I am tierd of footboll (soocer) I cant wait until the hockey seeson begins agin! Patrick Elias is my favourit hockey player in the world and I think he is the best!! I have read that Marian hossa has sign up for detroit red wings and that will make them a deangerous team but I hope Devils can take it :D

  • dont get me wrong im definitely a devils fan, but elias has done next to nothing this year. yea, hes second to parise in pts, but for elias' standards, he should be way way higher. he hasnt been good since those 40 something games right after he came back from hep c. he hasnt lived up to his monster contract, and i seriously want to know where the patrik elias is that was once an offensive beast

  • I totally agree with you. But Elias is my favorite player. He is still pretty good. It's just he should be way better than pretty good. But I saw a devils game on 3-28-08. And, he scored a shootout goal no problem, right trough the five-hole. But, he never uses his skills as he did. I think it is because hep. c. He isn't as strong as he was. So, hes just trying as hard as he can. He will be better soon. No doubt about it.

  • I'm a huge devil fan but Elias wasn't a good captain he's too quiet in the locker room and this past year the devils went on that streak right after they named Langenbrunner captain.

  • Unfortunately I think you are right about him being too quiet in the locker room, obviously there is no way of telling, but I think Elias would have been a better captain if we gave him more then one season with the C.

  • none of the devs have ever taken steiroids so shut up. he probably had the greatest come back in history when he recovered. he was on track for 200 points if it was from the beginning of the season to the end.

  • Patrik je prostě nejlepší!!! Hrozně mu fandim, nejen protože je to výborný hokejsta, ale je to skvělý a upřímný člověk. Musel si toho v životě hodně projít a tý smůly co poslední dobu měl, bylo opravdu hodně. Doufám že se mu bude v příští sezóně dařit a taky že bude s Peťou Volákovou šťastný!!!!!:) ;) Pááátrik Eliááš!!!!!

  • The Devils' winning streak they had at the end of the season and playoffs was really impressive. I like the Devils and it was good to see Gionta have such a good year. It's funny how in these clips Gomez is the set up man on nearly every goal.
