i got the carbon arte for 97pound from t mob but cost 100 a month with over £700 to use on anything but i only use the phone at weekends mon/fri my sim goes in my n95 8gb, the 8800 isnt a good phone for everyday use i only got it for the talk package + it looks good but its a bad phone infact my 6233i back up phone is much better

You just said, "the same data cable." Seeing as firewire or usb are everywhere, that is hardly a surprise that you can use the data cable from one gadget for another. Even when you take different pin configs into account.
