Yeah. It screws off. If you give a little more effort, the entire thing comes off(I found this out cuz I screwed the tip on too hard)and you can put cotton in there with the barrel. It'll silence a lot

No, the shells are optional, but they come with the gun itself. Your other shooting option, is the stick magazine that clips onto the side of the barrel. The stick mag holds about 25 rounds, and is meant for longer shooting periods.

I've been looking at it a lot, and idk if you're a big airsofter, but it's worth it. It comes with a rotary clip, which is the shell part you were talking about, but comes with 10 shells, each rotary holds 5, and it comes with 2 stick clips, which hold 2 bbs each. And it's bolt action, which no one really says

Oh. Shit, I typoed lol Yeah, 25. I own the gun now. Happy with it. The scope is inaccurate as hell. Readjusting, a bit, still, but I'm noticing .28 is a bit heavy for it to stay accurate. I'm thinking of getting .25s...would that be good?

I just bought this rifle secondhand off of one of my friends. So first off (I dunno if it says 500fps on airsplat or not), but it does maybe 320-360fps average, maybe 400 if it's lubed and such.

Second, practically everything is metal except the magazine, the frame, and the shells. Third, this is a pretty accurate rifle, just yesterday

I managed to nail a crow from about 150 feet out (it took me 6 times to get because obviously the speed of the bb was reduced and the curve increased at this range). The scope is actually pretty nice, you just have to take the time to adjust it, which I've done and gotten to be pretty accurate give or take an half to one full inch at 50-75 feet.

Like someone else said before, if you are used to using a full auto AEG, you probably won't be very good with this gun, at first at least. Overall it's a good gun for what it is. Obviously it's not going to be as accurate or powerful as a higher end, gas powered sniper rifle - you get what you pay for, and the Tactical 9 does a pretty good job for being what it is price range wise.

Ok to clear everything up, the 2000 FPS thing is a lie made up on some airsoft forum (I think airsoftforum or arnies).

And the guy isn't lying, that is the Super 9 SWAT

the ones you guys are thinking about it the Super 9 PRO, which costs about $100 less. If a gun shoots more then the AEG limit in a scenario, there is a 2nd Sniper FPS limit, and you can use your high-powered gun, as long as it shoots under 540 (most places) on .20 and you have to shoot from at least 50 feet away.

go finger your mom. my s9 is got a home made spring wich has 25 lbs of draw back on it. it shoots around 800 fps. all the plastic that takes the beating of the spring is homemade heavy duty lead. so it will litterly gey stuck in you and you have to go to the hospital

1. theres absolutly no way the super 9 (regardless of what version) can make it above 400, and im still very skeptical about believing that in can make it to 400.

2. don't even bring .12's anywhere near a nice gun, it will destroy them. that being said its ok the use them in the super 9 because A-its the most well known over rated gun and deserves crappy bbs, or B-we want to destroy them because it make the world that much better. The Tac 9 will weasily hit 400+, but it won't last long.

And think about it, even if it is cheap, all spriner guns really are is a gun with a spring and a piston inside, its not hard for them to shoot quite high. And its so simple, you can do quite alot of upgrading and reinforcing with simple tools.

Yes, BB guns that shoot metal BBs shoot 400 fps and pierce skin, but that is because metal BBs are more destructive then lightwieght plastic ones. If you look up his gun somewhere, it is clearly an airsoft gun and has 400 fps.

Nice vid. I got the Super Swat 9 too. Ive been waiting for sum1 to post a review because its a very good gun, and pretty much the best sniper rifle on the market for under 200$.

But did you have any trouble siting in the scope when you got it? Because after i ajusted the hop-up and the scope clicks it took like 2 hours.
