What is he achieving with the encaustic that the camera isn't catching? High build?, transparency? the ability to run a car buffer over the work? We all wish you the best of luck even if you go away. Great things don't often last. Thanks, thanks, thanks.

There is a subtle, opaque quality that somehow holds the pigment in a less dense though still rich manner. And yes, this goes beyond the camera's ability to capture, but its gorgeous.

without a doubt this is a priceless contribution and record of a great artist in his studio as he is working daily and speaking casually that is unique here and given freely by you as if it is no big deal.
