It was a modern hotel, , grandest around , with tall spiraling stairways. I can't believe it they neglected and abandoned it, hope it gets restored gradually.
i was there x times, when i was a young girl...the last time when i was 16 years old;it was a wonderful hotel....and i saw inside the diningroom after the war....it was horrible!!!i had tears in my eyes. if i had money enough, i would rebuilt this dream of hotel...the place and the beach is like paradise!!!
2 years ago my grandparents and i went to Croatia, and we saw this hotel from our suit at another hotel, one day we went inside, and my grandpa and i went all the way to the top, and all the way down to the creepy basement.
The elevator was broken, and the shaft wasnt closed so you could see down from the top to the basement, that was scary.
Its really a shame that no1 can give it a boost, it looked like it was a very luxurious hotel once.
This hotel gave me the creeps a bit - took loads of photos of it inside and out. I'm not too sure about the history of it. It's a shame no-one is turning it back into the glamerous dwelling it used to be cos the rest of Tucepi deserves it.
