97 up GSX possibly the best car to enter in a time attack , do the air package , some V3 KW's 2.4 motor and dog box , you can take down every evo at any race if the car is built right !
@srbskalegija It definitely has potential.. It has double wishbone suspension in the front which is a huge plus. I am actually getting the Andrew Brilliant full aero package, and most likely going with a similiar KW setup to what he has. I already have a 2.3 engine with more than enough power that I run on E85. Dogbox will probably not happen, I've had bad luck with built trannies and have been getting more life out of the stock one despite having around 500 hp.
Same engine, slightly lossier tranny, worse power distribution... but the DSM knew how to take a line, unlike the Evos. Not properly apexing, not taking a smooth line on the blue one (watch it jerk around mid-turn).
That and not spending the extra thirty grand on an Evo probably left a little pocket change behind for mods. :D
Both Evos had equal or more mods done to them. This video was back when I was on the stock turbo and was making less power than the Evos. Power distribution is the same (50/50) but the Evo's system is a little "smarter".

Far as I know, the Evo has had a 35/65 front/rear split since the Evo 3. Still want to get the replacement center unit and swap it into my own 1Ga.
