  • The houses are beng hit by an a-bomb shock wave.

Fnially, found some theremin music with no talking or other instruments

  • Reminds me very much of Ray Bradbury's 451° Fahrenheit / Martian Chronicles.

  • The music is not creepy.........the film is!

  • gord chord...this is sick... in the best way.

  • Wow, what tension!

  • 'Come and play with us, Danny'

  • MONDAY

  • LOL. Yes. Brilliant.

  • THats just brilliant right there. Is that a Space Echo on the Theremin? Sometimes it sounds like scraping piano strings and then it sounds like actual fire. Beautiful piece.

  • Thanks Rhythmicons. You're in luck - I can remember the chain. It's a Kees Enkelaar theremin (very flutey tone), Marshall Echohead acting as a resonant comb filter (Mode: HiFi [pure digital], min delay [5ms], max feedback, max mix]) followed by a Danelectro PB&J (max everything - lots of 1sec echoes) into a Fender 15R Frontman guitar amp (the Kees has an output volume knob, so guitar amp is fine.)

Most of the timbre comes from the comb filter. The "fire" was clipping when recording mike to amp.

  • Wow ... The music fits the images!

Though ... I don't like nuclear bombs at all :-s I forgot the title of this movie when there are nuclear bomb tests in the beginning with pigs in cages ... I guess that's way that awful too! Though, I think your music will fit in it!

  • Pigs in cages was Operation Plumbbob. More details in wikipedia.

    There's a clip on youTube - here - watch?v=OYUSKWhb3sk

  • Ah. Found the movie. Trinity And Beyond, 1995, Directed by Peter Kuran, narrated by William Shatner.

  • I forgot the title, but I'll believe you, AS there's also this kinda SciFi-Horror movie and I think we're talking about the same thing ... Thanx!

  • HOLY SMOKE!

    Poor pigs ... :-s

I already knew that often things that are shown in movies DO TRUELY happen, AS there often are things which there's put some sensure on it in the news on television!

  • People can do monstrous things. Did you see my "Gently Drowning" video yet? That was a Russian experiment. As far as I can tell it was real too.

  • Haven't seen it yet but heared of the project, as I'm a member of diverse Ning communities too which are interesting though!

People INDEED can do strange things ... I just watched a couple of those Nuclear experiments videos, I faved a couple which I think they are interesting, also 2 of them where you can see in WHAT way Americans were manipulated in the 50s ... Gosh!

  • damn. those three sheds need another strike.

really enjoyed the sound track and edit.

  • very impressive video

  • OK so these tests prove that if the commies drop the big one, your washing on the clothesline is fucked lol

  • It's worse than that. The message of the original public information film was - keep your house nice and tidy and paint it up real purty and it'll fair better when it gets nuked!

  • Oh dear, I've had a series of such nightmares...

It's so strange and a little bit scary with that soundtrack ó.ó

  • WOW! Shades of "Forbidden Planet"!

Check out the shows archived at WREK Atlanta like "Atmospheres" - better yet come here and play live!

  • Really unique work. And a shocking reminder. I'm inspired.

  • The Theremin have eyes... J'adore!

  • I've had nightmares like this. I'm glad you did this one. It's very evocative of the paranoid times in which I grew up. Well done.

  • cool

  • Man, that was surreal! Good job!

  • A grim video, with a prety cool Soundtrack. good work
