I titled it "Worst Slide Ever" as a joke. Anyway there was no way they could have got two on that play, plus he was the tying run in the top of the 8th. I guess whenever it is a close play they are designed to try and break up the play. I think if he would have went for a straight slide into the bag he might have beat the throw.
a midget cowboy sleeping in a wheelchair with a hernia could make a better slide than that
