Scott's tomahawks were the BEST at that time. The power point guards of the late 80's, gotta love it...it's hilarious though how the 6-9 Magic is the guy passing and the 6-2 Scott finishing hehhee..
I agree that Isiah's ankle injury hurt their chances in 88, but do you really think the Pistons would've defeated the 87 Lakers? The 87 Lakers are probably the best team I've watched. They lost 1 game on the way to the Finals! In 88 they were lucky to have gotten past the Jazz and Mavs (both in 7) and barely won this series against the Pistons.
I've been a lifelong Laker fan. But it seemed like every time I watched them in 1988, they lost. I honestly didn't watch a game of this NBA finals. They had played so badly in the earlier playoff series.
I always forget the Western Forum had the yellow paint. It almost hurts your eyes it's so bright lol. This is the one Finals I wish i coulld've seen as I was only 2 at the time.
Still to this day the '88 finals was the most intense one I've seen. Every game was a knock down drag out fight to the end. The 80's were remembered more for the Lakers/Celtics rivalry but this was by far the best finals of the 80's.

Byron was one hell of an athlete in his prime.
Isiah was a great, great player -- too bad he's such a douchebag that no one seems to recognize it anymore.

These highlights make it seem as if the Pistons had won the series.

Basketball isn't all about height. I'm guessing you're around 12? And what is this?

Pistons could have gotten 4 in a row if it wasn't for isiah's injury in one year and that bad inbound pass against the celtics the other
