College is purposely being placed out of the reach of common people in an effort to use the military as an option to concieve college at the risk of war/your life. The economy is weakened to build the military. The Marvin Gaye song "Make me wanna holla" explains this. "Bills pile up, sky high, so send that boy off to die." The trick that the government uses is that of a monkey trap. They teach you to kill first, for 6 days; and then send you to the chaple to sing about the love of Jesus.
The "white" people who keep the military out of their schools, should be telling us HOW to keep the military out of the schools, in the non-white areas so that we can do the same thing. This video appears to be WHY, the military is doing what they do, but not HOW to stop them.
JOhn does a huge amount in D.C. He goes to local high schools and job fairs letting people know that they have other options and choices (hence the name of the organisation). Educating people is part of the solution and that's what John is doing. He does work to keep he military out of the schools or at least get other organisations equal access to students, he just hasn't been able to describe all of this in 10 minutes.
"white" people are actively thinking, speaking, and acting to keep the military out of the schools in their areas. The military KNOWS that most non-white people are poor and promise them money, college, and "to see the world".
totally agree with highway234, stay away from armed forces, the government could care less about the soldiers. Ask Bush has he even visited a Veterans Hospital to check on the veterans.
john judge is awesome. he's a local to my town, washington dc, and i've met him a couple of times at activist get-togethers and he's super smart. i remember after 911 i heard an interview with him on the net talking about the terrorist attacks and it was a godsend to me, his perspective on things is so four square, so solid.
Hey friend, I may know your face so. I'll add you as a friend. I'll be back in Dc during the summer. Do you work with any particular group. There are 3 hour long videos of John Judge on youtube.
Interesting.
