its all a matter of personal preference - I think this is great; using BOC as the melody gives what would normally be a rather standard pop song a really dark tone. Nice work.

I agree that the term mashup in the summary is probably not appropriate, so I've removed it. I purposely used the word "splice" in my comment above to better indicate how they were combined. Also, the crossovers b/t the videos aren't random; I carefully went through the lyrics of both songs and attempted to splice them in a manner that created a new narrative with Manson shooting down Gaga, while contrasting the glam of her video with Manson's mockery of our superficial society.

It is amazing (ambiguity intended). Musically it's wonderful because it takes the 2-bar squirt line in the original and places the vocal over the more complex and more deeply sad 4-bar BOC verse bit. The chorus, which is so subtle in BOC that it barely differs, meets in the middle, as it were, and raises the tension in Aguilera. Verdict: UKStoner 2007 has shown that pop culture could be good, w/BOC toasting the tracks with the trash bitches. But don't expect much from the culture industry.

Oh come on. As much as I love BOC its just fucking music. They DONT live in a bunker , they drink in my local occasionally and they like fucking with people. so stoner put this in his DAW along with his Genie acapella from Piratebay. If you heard this ripped you would probably enjoy it.

Can't say I'm a fan, but you can't argue with the mixing skills. I'd have maybe put some heavy filters on the Aguilera track, to bring it in line with the BoC track. They just clash too much as they are right now. But hey, what do I know.
