Not true, mathematics where taught to muslims by indians so muslims cant take credit for that or anything. And how would they when all they did was war and so on at that point. It takes a great deal of peace and quiet to think up some advanced mathematics.

Actually, Islam took the already known knowledge from the Greek/roman ie the remants on the Byzante empire and developed it further rather than invented it. This was only after muslims burned down Alexandria Libary and destroyed 1200 years of Greek/roman/Egyptian knowledge to begin with.
