I wore out 3 of those ovens...everyoen with an easybake was jealous 'cause mine looked like areal oven. Can't count the amount of burns I got from those things!
OMG, could you imagine if they were selling toys like this for kids today? Playing house would include dad saying “bitch, get off your fat ass and go wash the GD dishes for a change, and get me a beer!!!” Her reply would be “Mfer, I ain’t about to hear that shit from a no count shiftless a-hole like you, why don’t you go find a job!!!”
This commercial is circa. 1969-1970. I had the oven, nothing was "child proof" back then, it had a bare light bulb inside and you could burn your fingers off when you baked those little cakes; my Dad would eat them no matter how bad they were. I also had the blender and the vacuum cleaner.
I had a wonderful career path but it will fade and no one will remember you for your art. But your children would and theirs depending on the joy and impact you have on their lives. Do your career while you are young and then consider it.
@kittygurl521 you just don't get it. who cares about sexist. you will find as you get older that traditional roles and values are the most important and all the modern thoughts mean nothing. I found that out. Enjoy being a wife and mom. No one died wishing they spent more time at work.
@monorailred1 not everyone is meant to be a homemaker and parent. Some people either won have children or cant have children and so they have chosen to devote their lives to their work or hobbies.
does anyone else remember the suzy homemaker commercial where all the boys and girls were dressed like butlers and maids singing and dancing around the suzy homemaker line, have yet to find it

@monorailred1 What about those who enjoy their career path? I don't plan on having kids. My artwork is my whole life.

From the fashions on the girls, I would peg this commercial as being from about 1970-71--probably 1971.
