  • I got one of those Emails and I had alot of fun scamming the scammers they never cought on that I knew

  • @KingOystar Great stuff! It's great watching those scammers waste their time.

  • @upallhours9 oh yea indeed! I had them do some pretty humiliating things. I told them I would not trust them unless they sent me those pictures. I had the men wear dresses and hold umbrellas. oh man It was great

  • The new scam on CL involves Jershey Shore Rentals. One ad had a rental for $1400 a month, in an area that goes for $3000 a month. They have balls, these scammers. They post a real estate company's name. Usually they tell the victim to send money to some acct, probably overseas. Then they tell the victim to pick up the keys at the office. Of course the real estate office is like wtf are you talking about? It's not so much greed,as it is stupidity. People are so trusting, and used to

  • @talltom1973 cont. using the internet for everything. They think this is good business practices. because the name of the company is posted in the ad

  • the only reason most of these guys fall victims is greed!!!!!!!!!!!!! white folks are just too greedy.

  • @MrBlackguy28 u are so so right? I'm a full blooded Nigerian. Its quite insulting tagging every scam with "NIGERIAN SCAM". Even the so called WHITEGUYS are scammers, It is in this same UK that some bloody whiteguys took £300 off me after trusting dem thinking that the WHITES are not thieves. The fact is trust no one, any person brought up in a good home with good manners will not become a scammer. NIGERIANS ARE GOOD PEOPLE. Bad people exist in every society.

  • @michnibable NIGERIANS are DUMB NIGGERS!

  • That is actually a genuine address but in London but obviously not their address.

  • My apologies on behalf of everyone in the UK.. We are ashamed of these fraudsters that think that a UK address is 'trust worthy'.. These scammers are fun to bait though, aren't they?

  • @TheAntsbadboy It is fun to string them along, because it costs them money.

  • @upallhours9 Oh yeah!! Got one on the hook right now!! Soo much fun, will keep everyone posted if anything interesting happens. Keep up the good work my man!! :-)

  • If you are scared, go to your local police department and tell them the situation.

Say you are in fear of your safety, bring the emails and cheques down to the police station. File a report for fraud. Ask them what measures they recommend.

Perhaps have a friend stay over at your place, just for comfort.

Tell this person to stop calling and contacting you, and you reported the fraud.

It's not the mafia. This is criminal scum. Mafia doesn't deal in this in kind of activity.

  • that if its a mafia then its risk to go against them etc, so i was really afraid of wat to do next, but after talkin to many people and see some videos im kinda relieved now bt i think im gona be kinda aware of anythin weird happening just in case, i think im kinda paranoic now that someone cud do somethin to me!!

  • ive never planned to cash the cheque actually my dad is a police office bt im in a different country so i called him n xplained to him the situation and we all agreed this wasnt normal, so i talked to this guy n told him i wudnt cash anything coz i cnt accept money from a stranger!! he got pissed off and i kinda freaked out coz i read many stuff n many people told me different stuff like not going to the police coz they might be watchin me and do something to me,

  • i received a checked too and i was scared what should i do? i told the guy not to send me anything coz i dont receive things from strangers especially money! bt he never listened to me!

  • @toyitask88 Whatever you do, DON'T CASH THE CHEQUE! If you do, the bank will clear it, and you will be notified days or weeks later that you owe on the cheque.

You will assume responsibility for the cheque, and then have to pay the bank the money.

I kept the cheque and showed it off to the tellers at my bank, then the police station, where I filed a report to the Fraud Division. I gave all my emails, etc for them to process.

    Good Luck.

  • I AM REALY OFENDED DIS THE TITLE OFFENDES ME " NIGERIAN SCAM" HE'S TRYING TO SAY EVERYONE FROM NIGERIA IS A SCAMMER I AM NIGERIAN AND I AM NOT A SCAMMER AND STOP ASSOCIATING NIGERIANS WITH BAD THINGS CAUSE A FEW PEOPLE DID SOMETHING BAD DOESNT MEAN ALL NIGERIANS DID SOMETHING BAD.

  • @MrBlackguy28 Okay, would it be better to title it 419 SCAM?

  • Yea theres alot of them on craigslist too

  • nigerian nigeria why re they always associated with only bad things?

  • Humans are hypocrites by nature. A wise saying that I'll never forget "the good ones are those that aren't caught."

Most scams are generated from the US of A, by the way.

  • actually they have street numbers like that in UK ..unlike the U.S address system..I should know I was born in the UK..............

  • @pentogram23 That's good to know, thanks for sharing.

  • @pentogram23 yes that address could actually be real the strand does exist in london and the post code seems correct too.

  • Fuckin Nigerians, scum of the earth, I would have them all lynched

  • @markmc1978 You know, I don't know anyone that has had a positive encounter with Nigerian folks.

  • @upallhours9 Right back at ya! Anytime I have had the misfortune to encounter any Nigerians in my life whether at a job or somewhere else I noticed that they all are very ignorant and demanding! They act like they are entitled to everything FUCK'EM!

  • @markmc1978 Ignorant stero type....As if americans dont have scams as well..Scams r done all over the world.

  • i like that kramer picture on the back

  • 123 STRAND.LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • @pumpumassassin Might as well have been 123 Anytown, Not a scam Avenue, John Smith, Really a Prince.

  • @nigerianfineboy13 NO- You are the most STUPID PERSON on Earth!

Uttering Death Threats?! How DARE YOU!

The entire video is filled with evidence of Nigerian Scam. There is NO OTHER scam like this in the WORLD.

Is there a scam called United Kingdom Scam?....NO!!! how about Canada Scam?....NO!!! American Scam?....NO!!!

  • I checked out the address and the postcode - they don't match. I entered '123 Strand London' in the Royal Mail search, and it told me 'too many results' 'WC2R 0DZ' is for 456-458 Strand London Luckily British postcodes, like Canadian postal codes, pinpoint streets and buildings, not just towns and suburbs. That said, the Strand is a pretty prestigious address, so unless the scammer had a mailing address there, it'd look fishy.

  • @kmfw72 Good to know! -Thanks!

  • How DARE you automatically label this to NIGERIAN scammers??? The address was from the UK!! dont be so IGNORANT!

AMERICANS are known to be oil hungry and greedy, It wouldn't be fair to label all of you that when we know its just a minority.... so DONT do the same for Nigeria. Its ignorant!!

  • @denzilemmanuel93 Then why isn't there a scam known as the American Scam or Canadian Scam?

The scam originated in Nigeria - hence forth "Nigerian Scam".

  • Its sad if some people will keep on tarnishing the name of country because not all nigerians are scammers,I blame the fucking government for the rise in fraud:Its their own making.

  • @bolaz77 The white people are greedy, Yes I agree with you - some of us are just that way.

When I address nigerians as a whole, scamming others, well, it is a title they earned.

Not ALL Nigerians are scammers, but the scammers have given a bad name to the country Nigeria.

Now, if this scam originated in Canada or U.S.A. it would rightfully be called Canadian or American Scam.

  • @upallhours9 I understand what you mean,Iwas just trying to make you understand that in a society : there are lazy and hardworking people. Our criticism should black out the lazy ones that are fraudsters to join the hardworking ones to rebuild the image of the country not naming us to be the same because I go through with the activities of this nigerian fraudsters but i don't act like them or do what they do so why should I be tagged with them! You know its really frustrating.

  • @upallhours9 AFRICAN ARE ALL SCAMMERS SMELLY SDTINKY DIRTY BLACK SHIT BASTARDS..LOOL

  • why do u u ass holes always blame nigerians for ur stupid greed what has a mail from uk in europe got to do with nigeria in Africa!

  • @ucheHapers(The U.K. address was a ruse to throw off the "mark")

BTW... I have a large sum of money for you to transfer for me - I am of royal descent and need your help.

Please keep this a secret, all I need is your bank info, address, telephone contact, social insurance number and passport photocopied.

  • Thanks for the heads up !

  • Yeah, there are some "scam baiters" out there.

Check out YT user butchdriveshaft for his techniques. XD

  • I don't think is greed, it's just that American's are too nice and giving people, is why some do fall for it, and you got to realice that they are Voo-doo practisioners, and I do belive in that stuff but sooner or later it will reverse on anyone who practice it! I meet some guy on line last year, and the mother fucker wanted me so send him Via Western-Union $20,000.00 (20K), in three paymnets, so I fool him I said I would and turn him to the F.B.I. mean time I kkeped him going. LOLOLO.

  • @dahlia007ification : Why people think American's are generous ? They gave things out for something in return or claimed it back on income tax. I still repeat it, only greedy will fall into this 419 scam. This has been going on for long as i can remember in the late 80's before internet exposed it to the world. Internet make it easy to target individual but back then, it was big corporations that fell in the trap. Accepting offer to help someone lifting money illegal is greedy.

  • Only greedy people will fall in this kind of scam. Nigerian is just a scape goat for this type of crime, shit happen all over the world. Eastern Europe such as Russia, Ukraine, Poland , Bulgaria are all doing the same thing even credit card and phone companies do the same advance fee fraud (AFF). What do you think your credit card or phone company try to do when you received $10 check from them? If you cashed it, you already authorize them to charge you for some kind of monthly service.

  • @kazaliAlo That's very true, gotta be careful these days.

  • i got money orders too they are fake for a mystery shopping job man i got mad people are dum they want to steal your money they need to work stop scamming people dammmmm man ... hey your right what type of person gives strangers money hahahhha not right people right,,,,,,,dont fall for it ......PLEASE BE AWARE

  • i totally agree with your moral: if it's too good to be true, it most likely IS too good to be true!

  • It is a scam but don't judge it by the address. I am sure that there are many people that live at 123 Something Street and The Strand IS a street in the City of Westminster, London, England. It starts at Trafalgar Square and runs east to join Fleet Street at Temple Bar, which marks the boundary of the City of London.

  • @mapache11 That's good to know. -Thanks!

  • People who are greedy, ignorant people deserve to lose their money to get "free stuff" or "Huge amounts of money". Although, not your case, people are so selfish to even believe this crap sent out from low-life Nigerians.

  • just happened to me

  • oh yes ive herd of it and my mom was also almost a victom twice but she did the same thing as you :) she asked the bank and they told her it was also fake and the money would have came from her account. lol my mom loved yelling at the two men who thought they could fool us

  • @XxLiLGiGgLeZzxX Good that you didn't get fooled.

  • lol, I actually have my house number as 123..... one of my Nigerian friends just got caught out by one of these. How ironic!

  • An idiot will wake up one morning and stay in his bed with cam without whooshing face and call Nigeria then post it to YouTube; looking at his eyes you will know that he is a criminal. Am not in support of scam but any fool, man or woman, boy or a girl should know how he or she addresses NIGERIA because Nigeria is not a scammer. Call the name of the scammer not a name of a country. Anybody that calls that country scam holly ghost fire will consume him or her to ashes.

  • I have a question, someone just bought my laptop for 214$, and they sent me a message saying they want to send it to their boyfriend in Nigeria working at the British American Tobacco Company or something. They want to include 100$ more for shipping... is this a scam? Here is the address:

    NAME: OWEN BLOSSOM

    ADDRESS: 48 ONDO ROAD

    CITY: AKURE

    STATE: ONDO STATE

    COUNTRY: NIGERIA

    POSTAL CODE: 23434

  • @JetlinerXPilotXFSX This is most definitely a well known nigerian scam. I hope you didn't fall for this!

  • Fuck these people, The nigerian people are scum, Turn 2 keys and press the fucking button!!!!! these assholes made it impossible to use ebay whatsoever now ive been phished 5 times but never fell for it.

  • @koffinkat666 I hear you, man.

  • @koffinkat666 -use your brain if you say the "Nigerian people" thats a collection of 150million people, your just being obnoxious because there loads of nigerians that buy stuff of the ebay genuinely. I curse all nigerians that do all this horrible things on the internet.

  • @bolaz77 Yah the comment did sound ignorent i admit, but damn I am pissed at alot of nigerians!!!!!!!!

  • If you give your PayPal email out and receive a fake payment is your PayPal account at risk of fraud even if you don't reply anymore???

  • @soulkeeper2200 See, you have to check the link carefully in the URL.

    Good question!

  • i had the same problem. the guys personal information said he was located in kentucky and i got a message from him saying he would pay me 100 extra bucks to ship my ps3 to nigeria for his son who was doing volunteer work. i was stupid enough to fall into his trap and shipped it. no money comes in to our account so we call paypal and ebay. he deletes his ebay account. we r fucked. i call usps and the box was already flying over the atlantic. never saw the ps3 again. lesson learned.

  • @MeAndMyM14 That's brutal.

  • Fuck, only if i saw this video 2 days ago :(

  • Thank you for warning us through your video

  • i put my iphone on ebay and someone bought it and then they said that they wanted the shipping changed to nigeria.WOW im not stupid. And now they keep sending me emails to ship it and i have never received any money. RETARDS

  • @blackhawk2040 That's crazy stuff man!

  • @blackhawk2040 Same thing happened to me on ebay when I was selling an expensive phone. It looked real until the person started saying "I am god fearing" and "this is real" and then I got a fake e-mail saying I'd been paid, when I checked there was nothing in my paypal account. The best thing to do is stop people bidding who have no feedback, scammers feedback will always be zero.

  • init, 9geria not the only scam central u kno.

  • they have friends in the uk to post things to try make it look real like when they do the western union scams its sick and all aid and trade should be stopped to nigeria and ghana untill they stop the scammers

  • people on here are so funny they are saying im educated and didnt fall for it , like as if the scammers are rocket science degree holders that u just over came.

  • You lodge the check, they ask you to send back a small amount. The bank says it is cleared but a couple of weeks later is bounces and you are out the amount you sent them back. I know it looks legit. They usually use genuine looking bank drafts that fool your bank into cashing them.

  • ITS NOT NECESSARILLY NIGERIAN

  • @adorabledarl only 98 %

  • that probably wasn't even from Nigeria, it had no link to Nigeria from what you've shown. There are other countries in the world with cybercrime, you know

  • Now that is true.

  • so why is the title nigerian scams, this is stupid and dumb. It came from the uk.

  • @sguardian870 Well, it is a scam that originated in Nigeria, that's why.

  • i used to get many such letters on my e mail and i played those dudes for suckers like crazy....it must have cost them a b undle just to keep up with me.....then all of a sedden i dont get ay mails from anyone ....ocos these people pass my e mail around wirth a note of dont bother to call this guy he is a sonofabitch....

  • my 419 Update....Now, this scammer is threatening to call the Fbi if I dont send him his money. I called the bank and confinmed that he sent me a bad check..so, now Iam still toying with him. He dont have a leg to stand on now..haha..hes pised cause he spent money on an overnight package..btw, the street address he gave me was "565 Texts blvd"...texts blvd? cmon.

  • If you have some time on your hands (iam unemployed) you should begin toying with these idiots and make them chase their winnings. There is no doubt that they think Americans are greedy and stupid, and will cash these crap checks out of greed, but too bad, they're wrong. And if you 419ers are reading this, GOTCHA!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAH

  • I told him that I sent him the money..so he went all the way to the Western Union office, and found nothing..haha...then, later, I sent him back again, and nothing!!...then he wrote me back, and was very irritated, so, I told him I sent it again, and he went back to the western union office AGAIN!!..hahaha..Best thing to do is to waste their time, and money (he sent the check via UPS overnight which can cost $40.00) plus all the trips to WestUnion,so this will end up costing HIM!!!! hahahaha!!!!

  • Iam having fun with my 419 Scammer!! He just overnighted me a check for $1950.00 even tho my asking price for the "bath fawcett" i was selling was $450.00. Now, he is asking me to send him $1500.00 back. Yea, ok!! I contacted the bank that it was issued from and they told me it was a bad check (duh!). I reported it to them anyway, but Iam sure nothing will be done. "Mr Voight" (the scammer) has another thing coming..

  • Yeah i really hate the scammers. I mess with them non stop. They are stupid, i give them stupid address and they go for it, really who really falls for 123 sesame st 90210 but they do. i also call them and just be as crule as i can and this dumbass keeps an picking up his phone

  • bcos they make 500 000 dollars some months from less than 4 individuals, they have nothing to lose it thier job. The person at loss is u. to be honest caling them all the way in nigeria. Who is getting the fone bills. U only ocupy a few minutes of their day.

  • Comment removed

  • They give me us numbers i give to my friends and we all call. i also leave them voice mails they need to listen to al of them if they want to make money. I also offer to mail them computers in place of money and mail rocks or pictchers of my butt cod to them taking them for 63.000.00 dollars in shiping does take from them. not all of them make that much money most only get a small cut of that and i waste houres of there days i have pissed them off so bad there bosses get on the phone

  • It's so sad that so many people get blinded by the money.

  • Yes it is sad.

  • thanks for not being one of those fouls how fall for anything

  • u talking to me,

    it fool and whi LOL

  • i hate these bastard scammers, honeslty they steal people money and that person is anticapting a parcel. not only does it waste your time but it get your hopes up for no reason, i brought smething recently so i dont know whether this person is scamming me god willing ther not, anyway they havnt givin me confirmation saying they sent the product, im i being hasty or have i been done:) :(

  • If it is a private person, with no confirmation of shipping...could be.

The scammers like to use United Kingdom addresses, so that should be a dead giveaway.

Keep trying to contact them-perhaps it is merely slow in the postal service.

    Wish you the best.

  • cheers mate, spoke to the seller on the phone, there are frm uk as am i, hope that its just slow post even thought it was supposed to be next day delivery (dnt knw if u have that in us), i sent it to her bank so hpefuly i should be able to get the money back should it be a fraud (god forbid). I cant belive you get frauds from UK tut tut, that was a realy big shock.

  • As long as you have a reference number of some sort, you should be okay.

One important thing, Paperwork! Keep all paperwork of these private sellers until you receive the article, then still hold onto the paperwork on file somewhere (just in case).

  • yeah hopefully it should be okay. ive sent you my email address, not trying it on with you lol before you start thinking lol. keep in touch mate. ill tell you how goes hopefull good news

  • @mqasim7866 yo say that shit to my face people like you is the reason why African screwed ya dumbass. King Leopold, scams are scams fool, you the nigga. Go to any hood in America with that demeanor and I bet you get dealt with

  • Comment removed

  • Hey u are kinda funny... 3:25 u got it all screwed up. But on a serious note now that Nigerian scam is well known it should be difficult for people to be duped.

  • come to america and try it long nosed monkey

  • lol dats funny

  • Just let the scammer pay big bucks to send you the check cause Iam sure it will cost at least 30 or 40 dollars to send an overnight envelope, then tell the scammer that you send the money...keep his ass running back to the western union office..maybe then if we all scam them, this will stop. The govt does nothing to help stop the problem. Watch yourselves. Dont become a victim. Especially have to watch your elderly/aged naieve prents, grandparents, cause that is really who these losers target

  • I toy with them all the time.

That's funny that you had the guy over at Western Union trying to receive funds. :)

    Those scammers are criminals.

  • Funny, I got the same type of scam run on me. Since Iam already educated about this kind of thing, I did nothing. I did however make the guy PAY for the overnight Fed Ex to send the fake check to me(costs like 40 bucks), then he kept buggin me to cash it. I was toying with him and never cashed the check. I notified the company and bank that the fake check was drawn from. then I kept telling the scammer to go to Western Union cause i "sent the money"..over and over again..i had fun with it.

  • I encountered a form of this fraud on Facebook. I logged in to see "myself," telling people that I'm stuck in London/robbed and for them to send me $700 Western Union to get back home. I'm not going to condemn an entire country, but these scammers need to die in a fire.

  • These people are wicked! A scourge on society they are.

  • I totally agree with you.

So much of it going on right now, it's unreal.

  • a ton of people scam on ebay all the time. lol

it just so happens that that person was nigerian.

people scam on ebay ALL THE TIME. ive known people that have been scammed.

lol and the people scamming werent nigerian.

  • i had the craigslist scam version of this! i lost 4500 bucks and am trying to find out who the fuck that ni**er was that stole my money!

  • Good luck to you. Usually these scammers are fly-by-night, using fake or temporary email/shipping addresses.

The best of luck to you.

You probably lost one of the lowest amounts of cash i heard of. Usually people get taken for tens of thousands of dollars.

    These scammers ruin people's lives.

  • in my case he used a fake title, license, phone number and identity!

  • Damn! That's pretty devious.

  • if you got scammed its because you're an stupid greedy bastard.

  • Yup- greed does that to people.

  • how the fuck am i stupid and greedy! the ni**er that scammed me is the greedy one!

  • No one is calling you names here, we feel for you.

Sorry you got hurt by these scammers.

I wish you the best of luck.

  • sorry but i did not mean it. 386bigDee was the one that said that to me. im not greedy. its not my fault people have the guts to scam people and not care.

  • It's all good. These things happen. Too bad it happened to you. The scammers give people hope- and these are people who may be at a hard time in their life (financially).

    It's just wrong.

Sorry about this happening to you.

  • dont be... i have given up. its just too late or me. i looked on fbi's most wanted and well... he was on it.

  • That sucks, man.

  • wanna see his wanted poster

  • sure thing! -post a video response here.

  • got it doing it as we speak

  • Good times :)

  • done! not much of a guy for making good vids but it gets to the point.

  • haha I just saw the email address of the guy in the letter, I am going to send him an email haha

  • they want you to send a part of the money via Western Union to Nigeria. They want you to cash the check. Usually the victim will deposit the check into their bank account, withdrawal the money and send it. Of course the check turns out to be fake and the money is already gone and the bank demands to be paid back so you're stuck holding the bag, and most likely thousands of dollars poorer

  • Yes, this is nasty scam to get caught up in.

Greed will cost many people large amounts of money.

  • Yeah I received a check for like 4800 from a secret shopper. I had signed up for one in the past so wasn't sure and was very naive to the fraud check scam. I was suspicious so I decided to test it, I deposited the check but didn't take out any money just to see what happens and sure enough a few days letter, the money was taken out, that was a few years back and my bank still treats me okay. I think if I had taken the money out, if woulda been a different story lol

  • That's a fair bit of cash. The big losers are the ones that get in the hole for stupid amounts. There is a lady that sunk $400,000 into nigerian scam. Check it out by seaching nigerian scam stories on youtube.

  • Yeah I saw that! Unfortunately the woman was from Oregon which is where I'm from. I felt really bad for the husband

  • That's brutal. Especially for her husband.

  • Glad to hear you didn't become a victim.

  • i had the same thing ...i knew the cheque was fake...took it to a bank to verify that it was, then handed it over to the local police, including all of the emails back and forth...i had a little fun with the scammer...i let him believe that i was falling for it...when he realized i was on to him, he put a strange african voodo type curse on me

that was 3 years ago...i'm still alive and in excellent health and unlike him i am honest and don't hang out at internet cafes sendig emails all day

  • Now that is a funny song/video!!! Good one!!

  • check out .i go chop your dollar for good laugh...scammers song

  • Sorry to hear you got hurt. It happens to the best of us.

Perhaps you could post a video with the documentation with details.

  • Good to hear it!

See, that;s using common sense, avoid becoming a victim that way.

Others can look up to you for being so cautious.

  • I get like 5-6 emails like this in a week, good thing is that my spam filter catches 90% of them. When I was trying to sell my camera or mobile phone, amongst local buyers there were always some strangers from England, Canada and of course Nigeria, all of them were fake. I actually played along and told them wrong information and stuff, it was fun. I never were a victim, yay! :D

  • DaBroadcast- check out youtube videos about scambaiting, they can help you. :)

    Good luck!

  • i got a fucking letter with a check and now im getting emails from nigeria

  • Wow-Good one! See, it just takes common sense to avoid the embarassment of getting "taken".

  • I just made the same experience as you exept that they wanted to buy my art.. and guess what, I got a cheque from South London too... that might be their location... Anyway did the same than you. Went to the police and my bank :-) So people out there dont cash anything which comes from strangers.. do it via your bank. If you give them your IBAN and SWIFT code, they cant rob your account.

  • if you have to date african people only date those who speak swahili from east africa!fuckin nigerians

  • Duly noted, -thanks!

  • Now-THAT is funny!

It's just a matter of using common sense, greed will always sort out the gullible.

  • I let scammers send me fake checks all the time. Then I tell them I wired the difference but give them "wrong" M.T.C.N. I run a CL ad in Denver, Austin and S.C. for guitar lessons. They email me in poor grammar and are incapable of following the instructions in my CL ad. "Serious Inquiries Only" doesn't mean there's a choice that you can reply to my ad without starting guitar lessons. So I lead them around with Western Union/Moneygram promises. Finally I curse them and remind "Serious Only".

  • Yeah- I realized that after i handed them the documentation.

  • Going to the police is a waste of time , they dont do anything about it !

  • These scammers are nasty people.

  • they try to scam me, to send them my ps3 and send them the tracking number then i will recive the payment... the only thing i will send to nigeria is a ups box full of shit

  • kakompo-thanks for the good comment

  • Anybody should be able to see this is a fake check. The routing and account numbers are not even written on the check itself. Am glad more people are being exposed to the tricks of scammers

  • oh wow. my friend got the same kind of check for 2,000. & he was so tempted to cash that check. he didnt believe me, so i told him to talk to his bank about it. so he did, the bank said can we have a copy of this check, he said keep it. haha. i told him so(:

  • thats good u didnt get scam

  • 123 strand street is from south africa

  • Thanks, that's good to know, it just sounded fake is all. :)

It should have said 123 anytown, timbuktu c/o john smith :)

  • Actually Strand London WC2 is a legitimate London area and postal code. This is not to say that it wasn't a scam, just to point out that it wasn't South African.

  • Great video! It's so sad that people actually fall for this scam. They don't realize that the check is fake and you will be responsible for it!

ps Love the Krammer in the background!
